No matter, it was always fun to witness the racing live and I suspect the lingering scent of cigar smoke and Aqua Velva will hang over Central Jersey forever as funereal last rites Freehold was definitely a hardcore haven but just couldn't compete for the gambling dollar with the handheld gaming proclivities of the smartphone digerati who prefer staring at their screens and being FanFooled by FanDuel. Frankly, I didn't go often enough to say I'll miss it but truthfully. I'll miss it -- as it's just another sunset on an era that spanned almost eight generations. There is also no such thing as Marine series and Cat life series hippers, those figures only exist as regular standing figures according to the official Sonny Angel website. They may not have known that these were fake figures, but they could have done the right thing by refunding it to me. This is a warning to other shoppers to avoid buying these fakes!!!

The cafe has cookies made my a local bakery that I always buy for my older daughter. The coffee is great, especially the seasonal flavors. My youngest loves the lemonade! Review of Golf Course Only:…read more I was lucky enough to be invited as a guest to play this private club this past week 1 day after a week of torrential rains. Arrive to a very organized bag drop area for guests as most private clubs are mostly members playing. Very helpful in welcoming us, and on the carts and off to the range we go. Range mats only today with max distance 190 yards. Carts are dated no GPS. With young college kid fore caddie assigned. Of we go to an absolutely magnificent golf course from layout to conditions, to maintained bunkers etc. Really top shelf as a private club of this nature should be. Only knock which could be from the weather greens looked much faster than they were though if you get them rolling properly this course would be unreal. Pace of play was ok as busy for a Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately the 1st year fore caddie with absolutely no experience was pretty much a waste of time but being a guest I certainly can't say anything negative. In short Course itself really top shelf - didn't even visit the inside facilities so I can't comment, and being a guest I'm not going to be overly critical of staff etc as I certainly have no right to voice my opinion of a private equity club. Course a 9 out of 10 and some knock offs for the aforementioned above. 4.5* course wise! Hope for a return invite.
