I will say, the chicken tenders were dry and cauliflower wings were alright for what they are - however other finger foods like the fries and pretzel bites hit the spot in between bowling breaks! While this location was clean and the service was great, I felt that the food was a little mediocre and would rather eat elsewhere before or after bowling. I second the recommendation that a reservation is necessary, especially on weekends when the house is full of preteens and their families celebrating birthdays or other big occasions. We walked in Sunday around 12:30 and although only a dozen lanes were occupied at the moment, were advised that without a rez we would have to wait an hour or more to score a lane because they had all their hardwoods booked and the huge room would be jammed in moments. My skepticism changed to confirmation when group after group soon came in and took over the joint. The dude at the counter was friendly and said he might be able to squeeze us in between two gaggles of giggling girls, but gave me a serious look and said, "...if you think you can handle that..." Immediately understood his meaning as these kids were younger and louder than my grandchildren, so gracefully declined his generous offer. We decided to go out for lunch and come back a few hours later, when he was able to set aside an end lane for us, and there was only about eight screaming meemees on one side and empty lane on the other. We found bowling shoes that fit and balls that accommodated our fingers, and from there were able to throw two games before our peace of mind was completely shattered. We had fun, a couple beers and an assortment of light snacks on our way to proving that without practice bowling was a difficult skill to remaster. Good thing our lives didn't depend on it. We enjoyed the moment and the opportunity to relive our childhoods, if only for a cacophonous afternoon. read more

Personally, I hate Bowlero and would pick a more classic bowling any time given the choice. There are tons of TV screens over the lanes showing three different (muted) TV shows for no reason and it's just super distracting. Had minor issues with the machines but everyone here was helpful and for the most part it was clean and worked well, but if I wasn't here for an event this wouldn't be my choice if you actually want to bowl. read more

Bowling was a great time, the staff seemed nice. We did try to go twice prior and were turned away because of leagues being there so be sure to call ahead to check availability. Bowlero is an awesome! Their equipment and lanes are up-to-date and they also have an arcade, pool table, full bar, and food. The staff is always very nice too. I recommend having a reservation if you are going on a busy night (such as the weekends) because they can fill up quick and also have leagues that play there. Not recommended at all. I went there with my three children and we played three rounds. They charged us $157.43 for it! Due to the absurd price, we decided not to leave any tip. Later, when I checked my credit card bill online, I noticed that they had charged me $177.43, adding $20 tip for themselves without my permission. Totally appalled! read more

Went here Saturday 3/25 with 10 other people. Bowling was awesome and the people working the booth/giving out shoes were great. However my one complaint is the bartending situation. I waited a half hour just to ORDER a drink. There was only one bartender and she was very nice but moved slower than molasses. At one point there had to be 30 people at the bar and she's taking 15 minutes for one order. They need another bartender on the weekends! It gets super crowded in there and I wasted a half hour of EXPENSIVE bowling time just waiting to place a drink a order. Also the food was OK. Just what you'd expect from a bowling place. Overall I'd recommend but just be aware of the bar situation . read more

My friends and I played at this bowling alley on 1/1/22. Out of the other alleys we've been to this takes the cake as the absolute worst. Looks are deceiving, as the outside and inside of the bowling alley are decorated very nicely. We were all convinced this was going to be a blast. That ended abruptly as soon as we got to the front desk. We don't know if she was having a bad day or is always like this, but the way we were treated by the woman at the front desk was disappointing to say the least. She acted as if we were an inconvenience and did not want to deal with us the tiniest bit. She rushed us on to take our shoe sizes and was extremely impatient. We were also left confused as what we payed for, since she mentioned that we'd have two lanes from 2:00 to 3:30, and we "should be able to get two games in". We all had originally thought from that comment that we were paying for time and not the amount of games, since she had designated a start and stop time, but we were proved wrong. I'll get back to that later though, as it was actually the lesser of our problems. We go to our lanes, put on our shoes, enter our names into the screen, and get some balls. No issues yet. It wasn't until we began to bowl that we noticed something was off. One of my friends rolled a gutter ball, and the system counted it as six points. We didn't think much of it at first, but the problem continued. Not just for gutter balls, but also balls that knocked pins down. On both the lanes we rented the points were read incorrectly almost every single time and we began to get frustrated. One of my friends decided to go back to the front desk to try and fix the problem. The woman was still rude, and barely spoke a word to him. She contacted someone on a walkie talkie that could supposedly help with the issue, and dismissed my friend back to our lanes. We didn't have much of an idea of what was going on at this point, until around 10 minutes pass and a man comes up to us and says that he had fixed the cameras for the lanes and the problem should be resolved. After a few bowls we conclude that the problem had been resolved, and we were relieved for a brief moment. The points were reported correctly through the remainder of our first game and about 3/4 of the next. Towards the end of our second game the problem occurs again, and we flag down the man who corrected it the first time. Instead of trying to do the same thing as last time, he instead tells us that due to all of the vibration in the bowling alley that the cameras shake and create the error. Throughout this experience we were never offered another lane, and observed the groups to the left and right of us not having any issues. My friends and I believe the situation was handled very poorly and wasted a decent amount of time from bowling. After we finish our second games we get a message on the screen prompting us to go to the front desk if we want another game. At this point it was around 3:00 and as a group we figured we would get another round in before our time ran out at 3:30. We faced the front desk lady once again and she clarified at this time that we only actually payed for two games not for the hour and thirty minutes. Mind you, a good part of the first game read our points wrong, and at the end of the second the points were read wrong once again. She did nothing to help the situation, no apologies whatsoever, and did not have an ounce of sympathy for what we had went through. We didn't need our money back or another game and didn't ask for anything of the sort. At this point we were tired of dealing with the employees at this establishment and called it a day. Safe to say we probably won't be heading back anytime soon. read more

There was only one guy busting his butt off while others sat around and the lady that was supposed to take our order for food literally just sat there on her phone. That was not appreciated at all. I just had my sons 6th birthday party here and it was perfect! The kids and parents had so much fun and the staff was so attentive and friendly. By far this has been one of the best birthday parties for my son yet! We had pizza and appetizers for the guests and everyone ate and enjoyed! I highly recommend have a party here! read more

Owners must be heartless. Four of us went for the first time last Saturday. Waited over 2 and a half hours. Not really anyone's fault with covid....anyways. We finally get our Lane we end up going up to the front desk to order. There were from what we saw maybe 5 people working the entire place. Making drinks working the front end cooking and trying to serve tables. One of the 5 people was a poor guy who clearly worked with the lanes who had to keep fetching stuck balls. Employees definitely worked their butts off but management is watching these poor people founder. Definitely missed opportunity of money to be made for them. Our group would have drank and definitely ordered more food but it was impossible to get someone's attention unless you left your lane and ordered at the front. Then it was still a wait -if they could remember to bring you the drink once they got out of the weeds for a split second. We won't be back, we wanted the "upscale" bowling experience but definitely left without experiencing it. Overpriced evening-like lipstick on a pig. My family and I spent NYE 2020 at the Bowlero in Hazlet! It was a lot of fun and everyone had a blast. The price was great (so much for your $$) and the whole staff at the bowling alley was on POINT! The bartender was pouring some yummy drinks! The food was also really yummy too! Everything ran so smoothly thanks to the team working that night. They were so friendly and accommodating through out the evening. Special shout out to Michael and Chris who were awesome. I love the place and love the staff! But, they are way too laid back with the mask policy. They don't enforce it like they should be doing. The mask policy should constantly and always be enforced, no matter what. It should be a priority now and it should never be "too busy" to enforce this important rule. I've see many of consumers walk inside the center with their masks below their nose or even on their chin, some even walk inside with no mask at all. I wish them well and hope they will try harder to fix these serious concerns. read more

I would never go back to this trash business again. It was not crazy busy and took 15 minutes to get a pitcher of beer at the bar. Ordered food got a meal we didn't order, food was missing, waiter ignored us.. ok moved on. Went to bowl our lane got shut down for no reason, took 10 minutes to fix and turn on. Went to our lane people had stuff all over our lane and seats, then their party had a underage drinker who puked all over our lane so we went to leave and got charged for another game we didn't come close to completing. Overpriced for trash service and trash business. Every time we went up to ask how the pricing works we had different answers from three different people. Had a great time there today. The building is so clean and all staff , especially the check-in gal and manager on duty, we're wonderful. Rest of the staff very friendly as well. Super accommodating and felt very safe following all Covid guidelines. The food was what you would expect but really good! Not sure if it's always cosmic bowling or if we were just there at the right time but the kids thought it was so neat with the dimmed lights, glow lights, and the music to dance to!
