They are always prompt, polite, and professional. I have never seen any of the staff speak to or handle a dog with anything but kindness. My Pomeranian always comes home looking great, smelling good, and in a cheerful attitude. She has never shown any signs of stress or fear after her visits. The staff always gives me an update on how she did, they have educated me to better care for her coat, and they have never done anything I didn't ask for. If they were unable or uncomfortable with doing something, the groomers always consulted with me on what I wanted and what they felt best, so we have never had any surprises when picking her up. You can rest easy while your pet is at Groomingdales, knowing they are being treated and cared for by loving and knowledgeable staff. If you're making your first appointment, you may have a wait, but it is worth it to get onto their schedule. I'd recommend calling a week or two in advance of when you think your pup needs to be groomed. We just schedule our next appointment when we are checking out and have never had a problem with appointments.

He's an English Bulldog and you have to wipe them after the bathroom. They aren't that involved here. They also don't keep their collars, they make you take them and they use those slip knot lanyards for walks & moving around the kennel. Here comes my problem. Our 2 dogs stay w/ each other. NEVER APART! And I explained this, they both get extreme anxiety when separated. Well, to clean their stall (which tells me they don't watch them on a regular, or they wouldn't use the bathroom in it) They had to be separated in 2 separate areas (also against what I told them, and makes no sense). The Bulldog will not go in a small crate or pen and will put up a fight if pushed or pulled which is why I suggested they keep his collar for that, not on him! But to move him! He NEVER had a collar sensitivity issue ever before! Ever since they stay there, he becomes aggressive, growls, barks & has bitten me & his dad anytime we attempt to put his own collar on him. I can only assume that they used that slip knot lanyard on him, choking him, and now he is scared to death of anything around his neck. He was well trained as he is 2.5yrs old not a puppy. Now 4.5 months later I still get bit attempting to put his collar on & attaching a leash to him. He is making progress of being retrained w/ a leash & collar. They also asked for pics while away (I signed the box to be sent them) Never got 1 pic, and they come w/ a complimentary bath after a # of stays...but the day I picked them up they said they couldn't give them a bath because they were booked already. I asked to bring them back for a bath & they said I would have to pay.

They really did a great job for us all that time.... until we fostered and adopted an elderly (13yr old) dog from McKamey. We spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on lab tests to confirm what McKamey already had diagnosed was in the records .... Dog had an ear infection. RedBank could not figure out how to treat it, so they recommended a specialist for treatment (shocker another VCA business). They wanted to remove the ear canal of a 13 year old dog for $5K! The known side effects are defenses or death!! It seemed like a lot to put an old dog through. For some reason RedBank wanted to cash in on this poor ole buddy instead of helping him. Red Bank has SOLD OUT!!!!!! Yepp VCA owns them now, that explains all the nickel and dime redundant tests and services they push and charge you for for without approval. The once caring owner cashed out (good for him). Only wish he would have made an announcement and told all his customers and patients that billable services now come first. I went for a second opinion at Lighthouse Veterinary Allergy & Dermatology. They prescribed and mixed an ear drop that fixed it without surgery!!!) Thank you Light House for being honest, talented and caring!!! Bottom line if you love your animal and really want the best "non money" motivated care for them .... REDBANK is not the clinic for you anymore. Very sad what RedBank Animal Clinic has become. I once trusted you .

The practice manager Kelly is a thoroughly unpleasant woman and implied I was planning on litigating against her, when instead I wanted some responsibility for my cat and her death. Kelly, if you read this, I work with plenty of residents on the mountain, many of whom have pets. If I can dissuade any number of them from continuing to be a client at your facility my cats death may not be in vain. They couldnt find the problem so I called Middle Valley (her vet) today and they told me we could bring her right in and drop her off to see Dr. Killian-perfect-that is who she always sees. Dr. Killian called me after he was able to see her and determined it was a back issue. He told me she would have to stay in a small Kennel for two weeks and it was imperative that she should stay in the kennel and only get out for a few steps to pee and poop. He suggested that I pick up a small kennel and have it ready when we picked her up. All good so far-I love Dr. Killian! When we picked her up we brought in two kennels to vet office to make sure we had the right size and was going to ask which size to use. We paid the vet bill-$800 and waited to be called to a room to further discuss and ask a few questions. Then a "vet tech" brought her to the WAITING AREA on a leash with her jumping up and down as she was excited to see us! I was shocked and so worried that she was going to damage herself further-that I really didn't even have words. He handed me two medications and told me once a day and twice a day-pain meds and then said Bye. Once my husband got the dog in the kennel and car I went back in to ask if any medication had already been given and any other information when should I give it-still shocked at how the dog had been brought out and very disappointed on how it all transpired. Very disappointed also, that we had not even been given a chance to ask any questions (just needed 5 minutes) to go over everything. Hubby was livid. We have been clients for a long time and have never experienced anything like this before and feel it should be addressed as I wish no one else to experience this, it was very disturbing and stressful.
