Great food, atmosphere and service. I had the Tailgater. It was super delicious yet it should come with a medical alert warning. It's actually a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and burger. If you have a history of cardiac issues or even a history of heart disease in your family, this window maker grill cheese won't be the burger for you. The salad was so fresh and yummy. Excellent pickle and the fries are match stick style. Very yummy. The server Gorman was just lovely. Such a lovely fellow. I will definitely be back again. Oh, and the music was excellent. Not too loud but great assortment of songs.

Absolutely the BEST pasta I've had at a restaurant in years! The Dizzy stole my heart.

The Dizzy is a great place if you're in the mood for a relaxing atmosphere. Its a perfect spot to watch sporting events too (lots of tv's) but there's something specifically romantic and calming about this place. Couldn't ask for more polite and attentive servers. The food was incredible. I ordered a pasta and my date had the chicken sandwich and we both just loved it. The chefs here take good care of their customers. They offer weekday specials and a good variety of beers. Average pub menu and prices. The best part is the cute patio out front where you can sit and enjoy the street life. Check it out if you're in the Roncey area!

I came here with some friends for wing night and was not disappointed! The atmosphere is friendly, the service was fantastic and the wings were good. They also had some good beers available (Beau's is one of my new favourites). I asked for the spiciest wings, of course, and they were pretty spicy, but nothing crazy. They also had dry wings, which I was kind of regretful for not getting. The fries are great! They're sort of bistro style with the skin on. One of my dining companions is allergic to dairy, wheat and eggs and was super happy to be able to find a wing place that does them without breading. Monday is wing night, where wings are 50% off. They have food specials every night of the week. They also have a bunch of screens for you to watch sports if that's your thing, and also a few banquets so it's easy to talk to your friends, if that's your thing. I'd be back again if I were in the area.

The worst ever waitress slow and dumb, food lacks taste, unimpressed with this hole in the wall.

The food and staff are amazing! Favorite things are the steak, the burgers and the big booths in the back. It's like a modern Cheers!

Always a consideration for some grub and knocking down a few pints, this modest Gastropub is a gem along the Roncesvalles strip.

Very nondescript outside facade - no sign telling you what it is other than a small "BSC" (for Bovine Sex Club) painted near the door. Hard to miss though as the exterior is made up a punk rock style sculpture of rusted bikes & other assorted ephemera. The interior is similar, visually. Great sound system & chill vibes pervade throughout. Weirdly the stage is right in the entrance of the club, on your left, with a long bar along the right side, heading back. Great, crowd, great location in cool area with lots of restaurants & plenty of parking - both on the street up to 2 hours & extended parking for a flat-rate of CA$20 (~$14 USD) from 6:00pm until the next morning, just 2 blacks away.

Are the beer cans running out? It's possible. But, it's a dive in the way of the old dives. And the acoustics for bands are... not great. But they are a sign of what once was. Without attempting to try to present a front of a time long gone, The Bovine simply exists today as it once did in that time long ago, before Smokes stickers, before iPhones, back when people would just go to a bar to talk with those they didn't know the morning prior. Bring cash though, unless you're looking to make some big orders, because credit card is a minimum fifty-dollar spend.

This was first on our list, located in the Scotiabank Tower on Adelaide. We got a nice corner table, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, not too loud but not library-like either. The music, mostly UK fare like their cuisine, played an acceptable volume that my friends and I didn't have to raise our voices. We were seated very promptly, and our server took care to attend to my friend's allergy. She even asked to change my friend's cutlery when another server brought the wrong salad. My appetizer was a hot-smoked salmon pâté, which was ok by itself, but eaten with the pickles gave it that taste I wouldn't forget. I chose for my main the Petit Roast Dinner; the cut was excellent, full of flavour and juicy to boot. The gravy for said cut just brought the roast to another level. The sides were delicious as well, especially the crispiness of the potatoes. A clean plate was the end result! Finally to finish the meal, I chose the chocolate banoffee cheesecake - I never pass on any cheesecake when it's offered. And it didn't disappoint! The banana brûlée was an interesting touch, while having toffee sauce drizzled on the cheesecake was a first (and not definitely last) for me! All in all, it was a nice introduction to The Rabbit Hole, and I can't wait to go down there again!
