Wow! Extremely talented musician. As if being a wonderful violinist isn't enough ... she does it…read morewhile spinning in the air! I wasn't terribly fond of all the characters she plays in the show. I think her talent carries the show itself so you don't need to become other characters. Nevertheless - she's very talented and enjoyable.

My apologies to Janice Martin. In my opinion, you are a great talent / entertainer. I was fond of…read moreyour characters and was even fooled at first by your magician - I thought it was really a guy! But I must be honest, despite the incredible talent, this was positively the worse show I've been to in Branson. In fairness, I've not seen "Amazing Pets" or the Elvis impersonator. But I have seen the baldnobbers, and at least fifteen others. Half of our group of about 25 left at intermission. I wasn't sure if they went back to the hotel or just ran out into traffic on Country Blvd to end their misery. Of the dozen or so that stayed, I caught at least half of them snoozing, and every one departed looking like they just aged twenty years. The highlight of my visit was when I nodded off and dreamed I was eternally stuck in "Fire in the Hole" with screaming kids (Silver Dollar City). In my dream, the fire was real and the melting coaster just kept making endless rounds. Just when I though it couldn't get worse, I woke up and had to finish this show. The concept of an airborne fiddler sounded interesting but the experience just didn't fly with me. This sort of act might fit better as a guest act in a variety show, it simply didn't carry this entire production. There are ways this show could be improved. Have you seen the youtube video where a kid on a rope swing uses a leaf-blower for propulsion? The show could avertise "The world's only acrobatic, aerial violinist...with a jetpack!" I might visit a second time to see this. If you're considering this show, I suggest saving your money, play some putt putt golf or catch the IMAX instead. Or just take your nap in the lobby. Again, my apologies to the extremely talented Janice Martin.

From where we started at the White River Landing, everything was smooth and well organized. The landing itself is charming, especially in the evening with string lights and a couple of shops designed to match the showboat's vintage aesthetic. There was a dedicated priority boarding line for Captain's Club guests that started on time and before general admission, so we avoided any wait. Staff efficiently guided us through boarding (complete with photo opportunity with an option to purchase later) and to our seats in the dining area. The dining experience was outstanding thanks to our attentive server and other dining staff. With Captain's Club, we enjoyed a menu to choose from, were served ahead of the general admission guests, and the food arrived quickly. During dinner, the show with the Rivertown Ramblers was energetic, also well-organized, and highly entertaining. The talented vocalists and musicians delivered a fantastic performance. The combination of the scenic cruise, great food, priority service, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening and one of the highlights of our Branson trip. I highly recommend the Showboat to anyone visiting and definitely upgrade to Captain's Club if you can.

We arrived to Sight and Sound an hour and 10 minutes early which was crazy to us!! but we did all…read moreof our shopping beforehand and knew we wanted to be a minimum of 30 minutes early.... let me say, I am SO HAPPY we went inside an hour before. We got close parking to the building and near the exit. When you enter; we went to the right side of the building. Once we got there, we took a picture in front of the building. Inside, we weren't rushed to go to the bathroom & get some concessions. We sat in the upper deck in the middle. Specifically, row KK seats 53 & 54. I've been to Sight and Sound 2 other times and sat in the lower seats... I think I would prefer to sit lower.... Up top, we could see everyone's phones on, people having to stand up and leave- which I know is so picky of me but I would pay the extra money to sit lower. I will say, a perk of sitting up top is the bathrooms and exit way to the lobby that is quicker to exit & way less crowded! The only thing is concessions aren't served upstairs (I think, not for sure on this) We saw David! My theological nerd of a husband had some beef with wanting more exposition especially with Solomon and the temple but I thought it was great use of the limited time they have! They walked us through his young boy years, Samuel anointing him, his relationship with Saul & Jonathan, hiding in the cave, becoming king, Bathsheba, and ended with his confrontation with Nathan and a redemption song. The emphasis was on David wanting to know God's heart and be known by God intimately. Really spoke to me personally in this season. I do think seeing Jesus was my favorite because it's the gospels. My husband says his favorite is Esther. But honestly, anything you see will be good. The ushers are amazing! They were keeping an eye out on anyone who needed anything-even working in the pitch dark to escort parents or children out. They have quiet rooms for families in the back & good seating for those in wheelchairs or anything else. At the end of the show, they have cast members and S&S staff available to pray with anyone who needs anything & they do an altar call for salvation, which is EPIC! They give space for people to encounter God and be walked through prayer.

All the instructors are wonderful and super supportive. Pole is more fun than I ever thought exercise could be! Love love LOVE it! When I first started, I never thought I'd be able to do anything - I'm middle aged, out of shape, and oh so clutzy...but as you work at it you get better and stronger, and I'm amazed at what I'm capable of doing now!! There's lots of other things besides pole here too - yoga, booty barre, flexibility classes, cardio classes...and there's always new things being tried out so you don't get bored. We recently had a series of burlesque classes, and they were so much fun!!! There's also workshops offered on a regular basis (pole champion Natasha Wang did some workshops last year) that give you a chance to work with other people who may have a different way of demonstrating skills. Coming to this place is one of the best decisions I've made. I'm physically in the best shape I've probably ever been in, and my pole sisters are wonderful, supportive people that I've been blessed to get to know. I LOVE THIS STUDIO!!!

It went from having a class included in the membership every week night (Monday-Thursday) to having one class per week. It's not worth the money. Pay per class if you go. Even the punch cards expire which is NOT good. The instructors are not certified to teach pole and they change constantly. Each instructor teaches totally different and they don't follow any type of teaching plan or pattern so you end up paying for the same 3 moves over and over again. It's fun to take one or two classes but the membership is a TOTAL rip off.
