We were either jamming out to amazing music, raving on stage with the DJ, or competing in contests throughout the night. Parking is $20 but free along the streets if you're comfortable doing so. We did and had no issues. There is a bar. We got the 5 for $35 bucket which included a choice of cider, white claws and spiked lemonade. There is also concessions which are fairly cheap. $2 popcorn and $3 pretzels with a variety of chips, drinks, hots dogs, cookies to choose from.

Overall I love coming here when there is show I want to see but don't feel like going to NYC to watch it.

The doors opened about an hour or so before the show leaving enough time for concessions, bathroom and finding our seats. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house at all. We came for pre-opening night so the cast was rehearsing songs and it was lovely to get to hear the tunes before the show. The experience was entertaining and love that some of the cast came from the audience giving a different feel to the show.

One of my work buddies mentioned that a family member was appearing in a show here, so we decided to check it out last night. I had not heard of the Opera House Players before. I learned they had a pretty impressive history. They are a nonprofit volunteer-based community theater group dating back to 1968. Oh, and they specialize in musical theater and perform it exclusively, presenting four shows per season. Their shows are currently presented at the Enfield Annex (the old Enrico Fermi School) at 124 N. Maple Street, but they are planning a move to 100 High Street. We saw the show "Newsies" last night, and we were so impressed by the set, sound quality, orchestra, and the overall talent on the stage. There was a lot of talented folks up there, ranging from about 20 children, all the way up to a few senior citizens, like those who played Joseph Pulitzer and Theodore Roosevelt. Of course the real stars of the night were the children, who seemed to be singing and dancing all night long. A few of the kids capped off their dance moves with cartwheel, somersault, and handstand flourishes on top of their dances. It was quite an impressive display of young talent across the entire stage. Bravo!

Hart Beat ensemble is not to be missed! And best of all free, safe parking across the street. People with mobility issues can easily be dropped off at the door. A small theatre with a big presence.
