Placed an order for a new iPad Pro for my business with a new data line and a new phone. Got called to come pick up the iPad. Then got told they can't give me the iPad until the phone comes in, as they held the iPad in front of me and had even brought it out to me at the table. Was given no apology for the waste of time and unnecessary stop or delay in my order as I waited a week for the ipad to be shipped to them initially instead of just driving to apple to buy it direct. I arrived at the Verizon Store in Peru Illinois on Friday November 5, 2021. I arrived at approximately 5:30 PM to buy a new phone and had to wait an hour and a half to be helped only to be told that they stop doing storage transfers at 6:30. No employees notified me of this nor were there any signs stating this. This store wasted 90 minutes of my time. I recently worked with this store to upgrade to a new phone. BIG MISTAKE!! THEY LIE LIE LIE!! I was told that I could trade in my old phone that had a small crack in the screen. They were helpful in selling me a brand new $1000 phone, transferred all info from my old phone and sent me on my way. Then, about 2 weeks later, I received an e-mail from Verizon stating that my phone is DAMAGED (cracked screen) and that I will be responsible for the remaining amount due on the phone that I traded in IN ADDITION to the new device payment agreement. I called these liars and they confirmed that I needed to call Verizon and they would straighten everything out. After I called Verizon customer service, Verizon called them. These liars told Verizon that they NEVER told me Verizon would take a cracked screen; they said that they told me there was a chance that Verizon would not accept the phone. LIES! Sorry to vent but I am beyond angry. So now, Verizon is sending my phone back and I have to go back to these liars for a refund and to cancel my new phone agreement before the 14 days allowed to cancel. DO NOT GO HERE! This is not a Verizon Store. It's a Dealer. The folks their are like used car employees under high quota pressures. Nothing so far as been as agreed to how it was sold. Latest example the Rep sold me a $43.00 phone charger when I bought the new Moto. I new it was high but there was a lifetime warranty with no a "no ask" return policy. Sure enough there was an exception.... Verizon although not the cheapest is good. read more

Moved from AT&T to IV Cellular because of service. Got better voice coverage, but horrible data service. Was referred to Verizon by an IV Cellular employee. Very friendly staff, and the manager Kevin was a great help. Was suprised by my quote because it was cheaper than what I was paying at IV Cellular, and I've always was told it was going to higher. Waited for the bill and it was actually a couple of dollars cheaper! Service is great, fast internet and no dropped calls so far! read more
