We purchased what we needed, and received confirmation emails for a product that did not match what we had purchased which already raised our suspicion. We go back the next morning to pick up our held items and they cannot find the washing machine. We describe the item and they come back to us, stating that the crew who sold us the machine had left the product on the sales floor with a "sold" tag instead of pulling the only washing machine they had in stock. A customer came in 30 minutes before us, took the tag off and purchased the machine. Now they want us to wait til the next truck comes in with a washing machine, guaranteeing that we have first dibs. Problem is, they don't know how long that could be and I already don't trust them as a business at this point. They should reclaim the machine they sold in error and make that customer wait since they stole a machine that was already sold. Needless to say, if you're going to purchase from this store and need to put it on hold, do not leave the store until they pull your items off of the sales floor to save yourself the frustration, inconvenience, and out of pocket expenses I'm having to go through for their lack of follow through and dishonest business practices.

okay, I'll update here since they finally installed the small granite piece for my stove backsplash…read moreand accommodated my request for first thing in the am. The 3 guys who arrived called ahead 20 min, and were super careful to measure thrice and keep measuring and using a level as the piece dried. I felt very confident watching their concern to get the piece on the backsplash in an attractive and straight manner. They could not have been more professional. I'll say it once and say it again: when you deal with the salespeople at The Granite Corporation (that's their real name not "Granite") you kind of doubt that they have a clue about what they're selling. I don't know what will happen and it takes too long for them to finish up a sale, even though they mean well. However, when the measure & install team shows up, those are the people who really know what they're doing. They are top pros. I asked Sam, my sales person, how are they going to make sure the glue holds on a vertical application, and she did not know. I asked her if I should cover my stove, and she said, don't worry (of course, I did). When they showed up, they scored the back of both my backsplash and the new piece, so more glue would be applied. They applied glue all around the perimeter (not visable). They taped the piece in place and I put a spongy rug on my stove (just in case). They said, glue sets in 10 minutes and they held it that long, and it is good to go in a couple hours when I can take off tape. I would have liked to know that there would be a little granite dust in my kitchen ahead of time, to have removed everything from countertops, but they did hold up a vacuum while they scored my backsplash, so I cannot say that I see any dust (besides my own). They scored the new piece outside my house. The treasure here is the cutting, measuring & install team. They are premium craftsmen, very experienced and know how to communicate with the public. They're the ones who should be selling the granite!

BUT warning to people getting…read moreloans to get remodeling done. brian was great to work with. i would actually recommend brian to anyone that isn't extremely low income and has to get a government or regular loan for the work that the estimate is for. we had to get a 3rd mortgage with the government in order to do this. got a surprise bill for $390 from their electrician 2 days ago after everything was done. when i asked brian about installing lights we had already bought years ago then was told before installed outside garage lights would be about $90 and that we would pay Brian that after the electrician billed him. asked if could pay it in a week or two after install but then electrician billed us directly after brian said they bill him and then we pay him. and also billed for work on bath fan that we didn't even know about. they found an extreme issue that the fan was plugged up and had to call the electrician. very frustrated that we weren't warned about getting billed from someone other than Brian especially since he knows our financial situation and why we had to get the loan before 3 of our ceilings collapsed from sagging so bad. but my husband and i have included pictures of some of the work so that you can see how nice it really is. just frustrated with this electrician bill surprise after we had brian look at our toilet and he said the issue with it will keep getting worse if we don't get it fixed right away. BUT he said the person he was suggesting, we should ask if they would allow us to make payments because most places will if they want our business.

Still hasn't been resolved - $2800 brand new appliance that doesn't work. Home Depot just takes your money - doesn't care about service. Bravo. I will never buy another appliance there again.
