But I decided to give him a try. I booked a hand wash. Took about an hour. This is not a detail or even a mini detail but it's a GREAT HAND WASH that truly made my car SPARKLE. Sam hit the little extra spots I requested as part of the $65 price. If you normally go to regular fast car washes...BY COMPARISSON, what Sam does can feel a little like a mini detail. I recommend removing everything from your car at home so they can find the dirt. My floors were in great need of vacuuming and my floor mats were filthy. My floors and mats now look like new. I feel like I drove a new car off Sam's property. He deserves all his 5 star reviews! My windows sparkle. There are just details that get included here that are missing other places. If a simple hand wash is THIS GOOD I cannot imagine how spectacular their attention to detail would be for a full detail. If you are a newbie to higher end car care, give Sams HAND WASH a try before you decide if you really need a full detail. I think you'll be happy here. I feel like I might start doing this hand wash maybe every 2-3 months and just run it through the WAVE touchless in between. I'm not a fanatic when it comes to my car. I just prefer it clean. I park in a garage so I rarely need a wax. I do miss my mobile guy...but Sams is very reasonable AND there's a great little Mexican restaurant only a short walk away, called CARLILLOS Cocina. I had my son check it out this morning, and we decided (1) the job they did was acceptable given the circumstances and (2) it's impossible to tell whether the litter that's in there now was left there in June or was blown or brought in by rodents since then. In the meantime, Sam was super nice about it and offered to redo the job. I am now one of his many clients who rate his business 5 stars. He has the old-fashioned business ethic of wanting to make his customers happy. I, unfortunately, never received a call and once midnight hit, I decided to drive down, grab my keys, pay, and drive to vegas to drop it off at the rental place with just enough time to make my flight back to reno. I pull up and see my rv. Nice and clean. I go up to see if anyone can get me the keys and process the payment. No keys can be found. We try and call the person I dropped them off with and no answer. Nick and I were able to come to an agreement. I would come back in the morning when the keys would be back and if the rental place wouldn't waive the late fee, Nick would reimburse me along with the price of my missed flight. Nick gave me his word and we shook on it. I return in the morning. Nick had the keys in hand and we worked out the payment. The rental did not waive the fee but Nick kept his word and upon my return to Reno, sent me the reimbursement. I highly recommend you get services done here. It also took way longer than originally agreed after deposit was paid 7 weeks and then we got charged nearly double the estimated time--which threw off our schedule and forced me to spend even more to have the job redone correctly. She arrived on time on Monday and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. She was very efficient, professional, and had no problem answering my many questions about the process. The result is almost invisible, just a small spot where she had to drill into the glass to start the process. In the after photo, it's the tiny spot in the center of the photo - it looks more like a spot on the center lower half of the door to the house.
