This was my go to dermatologist for years Dr. Laurie Polis had such talent and integrity with a phenomenal reputation. Unfortunately she sold the business to a dermatology group based New Jersey called "Tricenna" and the experience couldn't have gone worse. For the first time in my life I had a SEVERE reaction to the Botox they used. It was so bad I had to stay out of the public eye for more than a week. I was told they took that Botox off the shelves after they saw pictures of what I looked like. I also had fraxel laser. When given the price the specified that would be for two areas, however when booking my second session they told me that was NOT the case. There are SO many great dermatology groups in Manhattan my advice is to pass on this one. Soho Skin and Laser isn't what it used to be, it isn't even in Soho anymore It's somewhere between Chinatown and Little Italy on the third floor of some building. Back in the day it was THE best skin and laser group NOT anymore! Customer service is based in New Jersey and will NOT acknowledge you or your concerns as a patient and refuse to call you back no matter your effort. This place feels unethical.. they were to me.
I've been in New York and in the beauty business for over twenty five years in 2019 this is the LAST place I'd go to for that. Bad Botox, Bait & switch pricing, Zero concern for Patient and Coustomer Service all while paying TOP dollar ? No thanks NY has SO many great options seek more for yourself and your money you deserve it.
My bill was $2,500 and all i got was a bad batch of Botox and having to hide out in my apartment for over a week until the swelling and bad reaction wore off. What A Waste of my time and money. Thank God the swelling and reaction did not last more than a week or it would have been a worse nightmare. No one helped to rectify my cost or acknowledge I got duped out of $2,500.
Thanks Tricenna & Dr. Rudusky read more
