I saw Dr. Borowicz and she is wonderful! She explained everything to me, took her time and helped me decide what was best for my skin and what I wanted. Very professional and knowledgable and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic dermatologist! read more

I have been going to to Dr. Brodsky 's office for several months now. The staff is wonderful as are the Doctors. If you're looking for IPL, laser treatments or the best facial ever I highly recommend Briana who works in their Glenview office. She is the best and really takes her time to listen to you and give you the best treatment options available for your skin type. My skin has never looked so good! read more

Worst Doctor I have ever seen in my life. I waited an hour in her office. This is my 4th visit to this office and after purchasing many useless prescriptions she told me she cannot help me. She prescribed many of her own products that do not work and that are expensive. The staff is very rude and will not answer questions. She ignored my symptoms and did not give me a conclusive diagnosis. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. read more

I went to see Dr. Brodsky for a full body exam and acne treatment. Within the first 2 minutes she told me to skip the full body, "we'll take care of that next time" and moved right on to how I need to start Accutane for adult onset acne. First comment: checking for cancer is a much higher priority than clearing up acne - at least in my mind, clearly not hers. I actually left her office crying on the first visit because she spent about 10 minutes with me - gave me a whole bunch of scripts for her own products and did not let me go over my concerns...at all. She practically ran out of the office as soon as I showed the slightest concern. As my visits went on and I continued to ask her questions about the effects of Accutane - she brushed off every concern I had like I was crazy for even asking. I even mentioned how I couldn't wait to have a drink once I was done with Accutane and she looked at me with a puzzled look and said, you're not drinking? 'Oh honey my husband is on Accutane and drinks all of the time.' Really, so liver damage is no concern for your very own husband? I can't even imagine her lack of concern for her patients. I also had a cyst removed and she took the stitches out to early and I now have a terrible scar - foreseeing plastic surgery to fix that ugly scar??? $$$$$$$ The nail in the coffin was when my mother went to visit with concerns of hair loss. She did her evaluation and prescribed Spironolactone, a medication I am very familiar with by using it for teenage acne. A medication originally design as a diuretic, but discovered to be effective in hormone treatment. My mother has high blood pressure and she is diabetic, did I mention she is also a senior citizen? Red flag went up immediately for me so I questioned Brodsky several times while in the office that day. Are you sure this medicine is okay to take with her current meds? Is this okay for seniors? Yeah, yeah yeah.....was always her answer with a "don't worry sister' I'm your bff" answer. Lo and behold about a week later my mom goes to the emergency room because her potassium levels skyrocketed .Why you ask? Well according to the ER doctor and her GP - she should have never been prescribed this medication for a couple of reasons, 1 she is a senior - this medications can be very dangerous for older people and 2 the current blood pressure med she was taking was a diuretic and yes you guessed it the 2 meds were an overload on her body and could have killed her. Let me just say - I never stepped foot in that door again after my final sign off on Accutane. Let's go to today - I called billing because I noticed that even after sending in payments my balance was not going down. The last being $75 my statement only went down 3 dollars. So, I politely called and explained my situation and I cannot even tell you how rude the woman in billing was!!!! Telling me that the balance is going down even though I have 2 identical statements 8 months apart, with a $75 payment in-between - no visits - yet my balanced only went down by $3??? She went on to tell me my blue cross blue shield was still pending - it certainly is not. I received the last adjustment from them over a year ago. Where is my money going? So, as you can imagine this was just the icing on the cake. Hands down THE WORST doctor of any kind I have ever experienced. Do not waste your time and if you actually care about your health stay far, far away..... read more

I was very pleased with my naturally enhanced look after having injectables done by Dr Jessica Borowicz. She took the time to explain where she would inject the fillers and how it would change the shape of my long face for the better. She was a skilled artist! My confidence has been boosted and I get compliments all the time! I highly recommend her if you want a natural youthful look! read more

Izabella is great at what she does! She makes you feel extremely comfortable and answers any questions you might have. I truly look forward to my next appointment with Izabella each time because of the constant amazing results and her amazing personality! read more

I highly recommend highly Dr. Jessica Borowicz, a new associate at The Derm. Concerning the diverse dermatological needs of my family, she has been knowledgeable, thorough, innovative, and kind, which is really important when taking your child to the dermatologist (she treated my two year old son effectively). She has also greatly helped me with skin care needs, both practical and cosmetic, and has assisted in treating my husband, who has dealt with psoriasis all his life. I am telling all my friends to see Dr. Borowicz for any dermatology issues. read more

Dr. Brodsky is absolutely amazing! I have been a patient of hers for years and years. I have had to have skin checks regularly because of issues... I am a big baby about anything to do with needles and I have to say-Dr. Brodsky and all of her staff make me feel so comfortable every time. I actually drive 1.5 hours to her office because of the great skilled care I receive. The office is very professional and friendly. They are also very involved in teaching and spreading the word about protecting our children from sun damage. I wish I had known this when I was a child. I trust and highly recommend The Derm and Dr. Brodsky. read more

I have seen Dr. Brodsky a few times. I have no issues with Dr. Brodsky herself, but her receptionist is extremely rude. This was at around 1pm on Dec 13, 2012. I went there to purchase a cleanser. When I walked in the receptionist was eating crackers behind the desk. I said I wanted to purchase this cleanser, and I pointed at the one I wanted. She asked "which one?", I pointed again "this one here". She said "I can't read it". All's she had to do was get off her lazy ass and look. But instead she just sat there without even bothering to look. I read it to her and she huffed because I interrupted her snack and went to get the cleanser for me. I gave her my credit card, she rang it in and she told me to sign the bill, but she didn't even hand me the bill to sign. Instead she left it by the edge of her desk and just watched me reach all the way across the desk to sign it. As soon as I finished signing, she grabbed the bill and left. I had to reach over and grab the cleanser myself. Not exactly sure what I did except walk in and asked to buy a product. What does she expect of her job? There were no patients in the waiting room so it wasn't as if she was really busy. Very lazy girl. I'm sure she is a spoiled brat at home and always gets her way. Not the type of attitude you'd want in a professional medical office. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Brodsky for 6 months. I have always waited at least an hour in the waiting area, sometimes even more. No appointment is ever on time. On the first visit she wanted me to buy some product. After reading other Yelp reviews, I was not surprised by this. The product was not too expensive and it was nice product. Then she put me on two different types of meds. I had to do monthly blood work to stay on one of these meds. My first problem was that my insurance would not fill the prescription without a justification from the doctors office. This was a complete nightmare. It took me quite a while to get it taken care of because no one at the office wanted to actually help me. I left voicemail after voicemail, It is very difficult to get a return call, and when you do it's like they have no idea what you called about - no matter how detailed of a message that was left. Anyway, I have a chronic skin condition. This condition makes me very conscientious of my appearance. On my last visit, Dr. Brodsky actually made a comment to the fact that "it's lucky that I can wear clothing or that no one has to see me naked". This was extremely hurtful and unprofessional, joking or not. I have lived with this condition, most of my life. The meds have not helped at all, and yet every time I go to the office for my monthly follow up, Dr. Brodsky tells me my skin looks great. The problem was not acne, nor was it on my face! I end up paying anywhere between $80-$180 per visit after my insurance pays, plus the cost of the monthly prescription and blood work. It's getting very expensive for something that isn't really helping me. When I look online for advice with this condition, I see that the medication she put me on does not help with my condition. These I meds are helpful for acne, which is not my problem. I am very frustrated. I just made an appointment with a new dermatologist. I hope I have better luck this time. I would suggest avoiding this office unless you want large bills and wait times. I think they are more interested in cosmetic dermatology than anything else. read more

I honestly really liked Dr. Brodsky at first. I went in for acne. I had to get accutane approved through my insurance first. They messed up on forms, making the process longer. I started January of last year. Took 3 months of antibiotics. Had a follow up in May/June and did not get approved bc of my insurance combined with their disorganization, he said she said, wrong forms, until October. I then was informed they no longer took my insurance and I would have to go elsewhere, making me waste more time since my insurance approved the medicine for a couple of months. They were unapologetic. I felt like I was being sold procedures. I had chemical peels done which I had scarring from. I spend couple hundred on those with no real improvement. Every visit I would wait 30+ min to just see the derm for about 5 minutes. She was rushing me the whole time. The esthetician was the one that would explain everything. Bottom line very disappointing. I am now with another dermatologist. read more

Dr. Borowitz works at the office with Brodsky. I made an appointment for my husband. I never received a confirmation call. The receptionist was incredibly rude. My husband has an acne problem and we have been going there for 6 months or more. He still has the same problem. Back to proactice it is! The doctor never touched him or examined him. She just came in looked at him and wrote a prescription. She didn't talk to him about symptoms or even offer to answer any questions. My main gripe is about the receptionist who is SO rude. We had an appointment on a Saturday. She locked the door 5 minutes early. When we got to the door and tried to open it she shook her head shrugged her shoulders and said "we're closed" I stayed there looking her until she opened the door. I asked her "how can you be closed when we have an appointment in 5 minutes?" She didn't answer. She said let me see if the doctor will see you. She also mixed up our insurance information and sent out bill out to another insurance company. I brought the bill to the office and she actually argued with me about what insurance I have. Unbelievably unacceptably behavior. I worked as a receptionist when I was younger. This kind of behavior would get me fired. I don't understand how this unprofessional behavior is tolerated both by the receptionist and the doctor.
