I cannot say enough about The Dennis Inn. We had our wedding ceremony and reception there this past weekend and from the time we first visited it in December until the moment we checked out on Sunday, we could not have imagined a better venue or better service. The setting is beautiful but relaxed and comfortable without an ounce of pretentiousness. Brad and Cathy are genuinely such nice people, so easy to work with and laid back, yet responsive any time we had questions. They absolutely cater to your specific requests and are so accommodating to help you make your day special. Our ceremony was in the back yard and just enough chairs were arranged for our guests so it created a very intimate feel (we had 114 guests). For our reception, since we were doing a Cape/beach themed wedding, we opted to use their centerpieces of sand, shells and starfish with candles and any other general supplies we needed were provided at no extra charge. There were no hidden fees and the bar bill was right in the range that they told us it would likely be. We opted for the deluxe package, which included full exclusive use of the Inn from Friday morning through Sunday. The suite upstairs is so nice, very comfortable and a great place to enjoy some time with your girls and get hair & make-up done for the big day. If you can, take advantage of this option, it is totally worth it!!! In addition to the five star service of Brad, Cathy and all the staff of the Dennis Inn, the food is phenomenal! We had the pleasure of attending the open house that they held in February for all booked couples and tasted a lot of the food. It was all so good, we had a hard time deciding which passed hors d'oeuvres we wanted for our day. But we sat down with Cathy, who had great suggestions, and came up with a menu that we loved! We got so many compliments from friends and family about the food and yes, even WE ate - A LOT! We had ordered cupcakes from a bakery for our cake, but had also selected the warm chocolate chip cookies that came with the meal charge and had them handed out about 10:30. Guests were thrilled and were raving about them the next day. Speaking of the next day, we wanted to do a simple continental brunch to say goodbye to our guests and thank them so they put together a fantastic spread of fresh pastries, bagels and fresh fruit poolside. It was just as delicious as all of the other food and the setting was perfect! They also used our flowers from the night before to decorate the tables, which was a great touch! All in all, I highly, highly recommend The Dennis Inn for your upcoming wedding. The setting is charming, relaxing and comfortable, the staff all incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food is top notch. I got married at The Dennis Inn this summer and I have to say it was as good as it gets. The owners, Cathy & Brad, are true professionals who worked with us to customize all of the details to make our day perfect. The site fee (for the weekend) was beyond reasonable. The price per plate was very fair, considering how much food was served and how delicious it was. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. For example, instead of a Champaign Toast, we asked if we could do a "Milk & Cookie Toast" and Cathy was very supportive of that idea. They were very understanding and sensitive to certain food allergies, which is all you ask. One of the best parts was that we were able to rent out The Dennis Inn for the weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday morning). Our bridal party stayed with us the whole weekend which made it that much more fun. We got there Friday morning and set up all of the tables and decorations so that we could relax on Saturday. They also had free internet which was great for all those last minute details (where's the Dunkin Donuts?) We also had our Rehearsal Dinner here outdoors by the pool. It was perfect. The food was so delicious and there was plenty of it. The Mandarin Salad was beyond amazing. Cathy suggested that we rehearse the ceremony at 5pm (the same time as the real ceremony the following day) so that we could see how the lighting would be and make any adjustments as necessary. It was little tips like that along the way that really made our ceremony & reception stand out. On Saturday morning we invited some of our guests to enjoy the pool at The Dennis Inn - they really loved that! The venue was the perfect size for our wedding (70 people) and our guests loved it. It is very welcoming and all of the architectural details are beautiful. We got married in the back yard of The Dennis Inn, in front of the beautiful blooming hydrangeas and the white arbor. I can't say enough how outstanding the staff were. They were able to anticipate anything that needed to happen, and they just did it quickly and quietly. For example, the staff actually helped to coordinate the timing of the wedding with the entrances and the music. It really helped to calm everybody down and be able to just enjoy the moment. Another example was when we finished our ceremony and were out front taking photos and all of a sudden a ton of bugs decided to fly around my dress. The top few layers were all organza and the bugs were getting stuck! The Bartender (whose name I don't remember) immediately ran back and came flying out with bug spray! It was a lifesaver! Tons of people have come up to us and told us that our wedding was one of the best they had ever been to. My husband and I got married here on 10/19/13 and we had an amazing day. From the first time we met with Brad & Cathy to see the venue, to the morning after our wedding, they were so helpful and easy to work with. After seeing several venues, we were so impressed with how professional yet casual Brad and Cathy were. There were no "set in stone" menu options (like other venues) and Cathy actually welcomed changes to our menu (she said she likes trying new things). We chose the stations dinner option (which our guests loved) and the entire night had the feel of a giant cocktail hour, but with amazing meals. My husband and I are huge foodies and that was our #1 priority, and our expectations were beyond exceeded. Our guests could not stop raving about the food, or the fun and casual atmosphere. We even did a "late night" pumpkin chocolate chip cookie and hot apple cider/coffee/tea bar about half an hour before the reception ended...how awesome is that! The entire staff at The Dennis Inn was so much fun to work with and kept us on track the night of the wedding. Did I mention they are extremely reasonably priced for everything that is included! We rented the Inn for the entire weekend (great deal) and had our rehearsal dinner there, as well as our ceremony. Myself and the bridal party used the upstairs to get ready the day of the wedding. It was so nice to have everything in one location and definitely reduced a lot of the typical "wedding stress." We just had a really nice morning/afternoon relaxing, getting hair & make up done, and getting dressed. It really allowed us to enjoy every moment without having to travel. The Inn is a must see in person, it has the quintessential Cape feel and is in such a beautiful and historic part of Dennis. Corporation Beach is less than a mile away and is a beautiful backdrop for pictures. Both my husband and I have absolutely no regrets about having our wedding here and would highly recommend it to anyone! My husband and I had our reception at the Dennis Inn on 9/9/12. Living in LA, my parents, (from NY,) searched for our perfect venue, and my mom knew she found it the minute she walked in the front door and met Brad. Brad and Cathy were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. It rained the day of wedding, putting a bit of a damper on our plan to get married on Crosby Beach. Brad kept in touch throughout the morning and assured me he could have the Inn ready for an indoor ceremony with minimal notice, (we had 50 guests.) We wound up taking our chances on the beach and got lucky with a break in the weather. When we got to the Inn, everything was perfect. I had 4 cousins leaving very early, and Brad and Cathy made sure they got a full plated meal from our buffet selections during the cocktail hour. All the food was amazing, but my guests couldn't stop talking about the bacon-wrapped new potatoes with sour cream and chives, the wild mushroom risotto and the baked cod with lobster sauce. Jordana, the bartender/lead made sure to box up a big meal for my husband and I because we were so busy and nervous, we didn't get a chance to eat. Oh! The lobster cheesecake! Amazing! They even made it super easy for my DJ to set up early so he could play music at the beach and for my mom's best friend to come in and do set-up. I can't say enough good things about the Dennis Inn/Treat's Catering, and all their staff. PS: They do large weddings in a tent on the front lawn and catering to other venues. Got married at the Dennis Inn on 9/2/12. What an amazing day. I worried about NOTHING the day of my wedding b/c I had 100% trust in the staff and the coordinators I'd been working with at the Inn. People keep telling us that the food was the best and/or one of the best wedding meal they'd ever had. We chose to do a station style feast, where you get up and are served at each station. We LOVED this. Being in the beautiful tent on the front lawn, watching my friends and family walk around and mingle and stop to ask each other what they'd gotten, did they like try the pasta yet, etc. It was the exact social, fun atmosphere we were hoping for. And yes, the food WAS amazing. Salmon! Roast beef, Butternut squash ravioli (the best I've ever had in my LIFE), etc. Let's not forget our appetizer choices: Lobster salad in a mini waffle style cone, short ribs on a cheddar biscuit and the veg option of a baby pepper stuffed w/ a summery cous-cous salad. We keep getting phone calls and texts from our guests saying how much they loved the apps. The ceremony was so pretty on the outdoor patio, w/ the chevarie (sp?) chairs and the white perrgala to stand under. The staff was really accommodating, always check in with me and my husband. They were great to all our guests, but I really did feel so special w/ the personal attention. Their bartender/lead staff person at our wedding, Jordana, was AHHMAZING. Love her. I want to be her best friend. I high recommend the Dennis Inn for weddings/parties/etc. They run a well oiled, beautiful, tasty machine. read more

We were married here a month ago. It was actually the first place we visited back in June and when we walked out the door after our first meeting, my wife said this is the place. I of course, said hold on, its the first place we have seen and we should shop around, compare prices and the overall experience. Well, nothing compares. The price is right, the set up is wonderful and Brad and Cathy were so easy to work with. They made the experience enjoyable for both of us. We had use of the Inn Friday through Sunday ( there is a suite on the second floor with a master bedroom and 2 other bedrooms). The wife had a girls night on Friday night and was able to wake up for hair and make up on Saturday with everyone under one roof. Having your wedding here provides you with several ceremony options; several out door options and an indoor option as well. We lucked out with the weather and chose the outdoor option. The cocktail hour was wonderful; food, service and beverages were all perfect. Dinner was amazing! The food and service again were top notch. The best part of the whole event was how many of our guests commented on what an amazing time they had, how great the food was and this was the best overall wedding they have ever been too. I would reccommend the Dennis Inn for your wedding and any other event you may wish to have. We hope to use the Dennis Inn for an anniversary party in the future. read more

I had my wedding at the Dennis Inn a couple of weeks ago, and it was the perfect venue. We had 175 guests, and people are still talking about how good the food was. We lucked out with a beautiful June day, so the cocktail hour was outside & we had lawn games set up, followed by dinner under the spacious tent (with beautiful hanging lights), and then dancing inside the Inn. While the property and Inn itself are beautiful, the best part about it was that you can really decorate it to give it whatever vibe/look you want. The new owners are amazing to work with.. from the second I checked in the day before my wedding, Janene worked with me to put out all of my decorations, display the pictures, etc. It really made my husband and I feel like we were having our family & friends over to our own house. The bridal suite upstairs was recently renovated & is perfect for getting ready & taking pictures in the morning. I can't say enough good things about this venue- from the owners, to the staff, to the food, to the Inn itself, it was absolutely beautiful and more perfect than I ever could have imagined. Center of the Universe - We cannot say enough good things about Brad and Kathy and the entire Dennis Inn Staff. If you are looking for a venue where your event/wedding is the center of attention, this is the place for you. Our wedding occurred the day after Hurricane Arthur. Brad and Cathy had the facility and grounds in tip top shape while the streets were still littered with debris. The grounds were pristine, just like in the pictures. Because the Dennis Inn is on such a beautiful plot of land, set back from the street, our wedding felt like the center of the universe, for us, and our guests. The food was outstanding. Brad and Cathy allowed us to create the menu that we wanted. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful, at every turn. We stayed at the Inn before and after and that worked out perfectly. We really cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Dennis Inn. My wife and I were recently married at The Dennis Inn, and in a nutshell all aspects of the inn were amazing! We couldn't agree more with what other reviewers have said about staff, food, etc. but would like to add that what sets The Dennis Inn apart from other venues on the Cape is that one, Brad and Cathy put our needs and wants first through each and every step of the wedding process and helped us create the most perfect wedding day. Two, for a very reasonable fee The Dennis Inn can be rented for the entire weekend which made all of the pre/post wedding details (setting up, decorating, getting the bride and attendants ready, etc.) extremely easy. Our experience with Brad, Cathy and their staff was truly exceptional, to the point that we felt that we met new friends while we were there. Stunning venue and amazing staff! When you drive up, the first thing you see are the beautifully landscaped grounds decorated in hydrangeas. It's a quintessential cape cod wedding venue with so many unique features. Highly recommend hosting your rehearsal dinner and reception there! The Bridal suite was so spacious for the bridesmaids to get ready, an added bonus for the venue! Michelle makes the BEST homemade margaritas, they were a huge hit with all of the guests! Chef Billy was outstanding, so accommodating and the guests raved over the dinner! Jaime, the event coordinator was nice, but slightly unclear with communication and absent at times. The food is prepared by Executive Chef Fred Stoffel and it is superb! In addition for those that purchase the Deluxe Wedding Package, you have full use of the Dennis Inn for the entire weekend, which includes lodging in the 3 bedroom Bridal suite, a kitchen/entertainment room as well as the inground pool and grounds! My husband and I got married there this past October. WOW! Cathi and Brad are amazing in the planning process and very patient, they were available at every moment we had questsions and concerns. As far as the accomodations, EXCELLENT could not ask for a better arrangment and set up. The Wedding day was magnificent, the staff, the food, the set-up that we customized to complete my image of a vineyard wedding on the Cape. The words "magical" is what I was told about the entire feeling and look of the Dennis Inn. We are foodies and let me tell you, am still emailing them for recipes to this day. We contacted Brad and Cathy on short notice to do a memorial event for my mother who had recently passed away. Everything was on short notice, of course, but it was handled seamlessly, even though we had no idea how many people would attend. The site is lovely, very Capey, private, and perfect for our needs. Brad and Cathy couldn't have been more helpful. The food was delicious, lots of choices, and it got a rave review from the guests. I highly recommend the apple and goat cheese turnovers and the mini beef wellingtons. I would give them the highest recommendation. read more

We were married here last September, and it was such a wonderful place to have a wedding reception. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was totally relaxed, yet classy and beautiful. My daughter had her dream wedding at the Dennis Inn, in Dennis, MA. She came from Seattle and found this jewel on the Cape. We were very happy with the service. Brad and Cathy made everything stress-free. Family stayed in the upstairs apartment which eliminated worrying about getting somewhere on time. The food was great - the best lobster I ever had! My Daughter got married there this weekend and you could not ask for a better venue. Excellent food, friendly, professional staff and a wonderful setting. The staff could not have been more helpful with all aspects of the weekend; rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, reception and Sunday morning continental breakfast by the pool!
