Kids seem pretty happy jumping around, that's why we keep coming back; but it would be nice if they fixed what's wrong. Idea: why not install a jukebox? People could pay 25 cents to hear their favorite music. Then at least SOMEONE would like it.

If it weren't for Facebook and their events I wouldn't have ever discovered this crafting studio on…read moremy own. Gotta love the power of Facebook! Since I "liked" their page I've been meaning to check them out. It took me awhile but finally got there last Friday night for a book reading/crafting event for kids for $5 I knew a little about the business and what they offered from Facebook but didn't really understand the concept till I was there. You can craft here a number of ways. On their walls they have tons of completed projects that can be customized just for you. Mainly the trendy graphic signs and such. For a fee they provide all the supplies, crafting space, and additional materials (glues, etc) as well as instruction. For graphic signs you pick from their enormous supply of specialty papers and they'll cut out the design on their circuit machine, provide instruction than you complete the project. You can customize the print, size, font, papers, and the backboard. You *may* even be able to bring your own design to them to see if it's something they can do. The crafting space is spacious and cozy - the perfect space to connect with friends and socialize while you craft. An added bonus is they do the clean up! While the projects on display are not for sale they are priced so you know how much it will cost to make. While I did feel the prices were the same or higher than buying the project premade from Etsy (for example) the experience and girls night out would make up for it. In addition to crafting on your own they offer workshops for specific projects ranging from graphic signs to string art - both for adults and children. The event we attended was a few days before Christmas. The children were encouraged to come in their jammies to hear a Christmas story, drink hot cocoa, than craft a wooden ornament. All for only $5! Our girls loved the experience and as grandparents we enjoyed that the painting, glue, and mess wasn't in our house! We'll definitely be back to craft some more.

Unfortunately, the neighborhood aspect is gone, and it's become an attraction of less than desirable. Sorry for the new management. Even closing at midnight fights outside. This was a great place- great staff good food just attracting known drug dealers and fights in the streets outside. Maybe time to close for a few months and 'remodel' .

But after witnessing some deeply inappropriate and offensive behavior from the owner, I can no longer in good conscience continue to support this establishment. The owner of Musser, Pat, initially seemed like an okay guy. However, that impression quickly changed when I began to notice troubling behavior. On one occasion, I watched and heard him making racially charged jokes. I come from a time when people didn't take offense easily, and even then, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt--after all, he didn't know me and I didn't know him. But things escalated. I was present as in right there when a UPS driver--an African American man--walked in, and Pat referred to him as "his chocolate UPS driver." That comment made me pause. Still, I tried to brush it off, thinking maybe I caught it out of context. However, another visit left no room for interpretation. An African American inspector walked in, and without hesitation, Pat called him "Jamaal." The man immediately corrected him, saying, "Hey man, that's not my name--my name is Keith. Call me by my name." The assumption, the stereotype, and the casualness of that moment were disturbing. Why is the owner of a local bar so comfortable addressing African Americans with whatever name or label he sees fit? It's not only disrespectful, it's unacceptable. I work hard. I spend my money to enjoy good food, cold beer, and quality time withmy friends. I choose to support businesses that reflect those values--and this is not one of them! I will never return to this establishment. What's most troubling is that this behavior appears to be ongoing and unaddressed! Lancaster has too many incredible spots that deserve our time, support, and dollars. This is not one of them.
