You walk up and feel a gorgeous breeze and a great view of the water. We were really early so we sat at the bar and had a drink, so relaxing on a beautiful night. I said I'd like to start with the scallops and pork belly appetizers, the scallops were over seasoned and the pork belly was overcooked and almost impossible to eat. I got the burger which came out at the same exact time as my appetizer, how do you eat both at the same time?? My burger came without cheese and the fries were cold, by the time my husband went and hunted down our waiter for my cheese everything was ice cold, the fries had they been warm would have been delicious. My husband got the lobster roll which he said was really good. The dessert was... oh yeah I didn't bother with dessert as our waiter was pretty much nonexistent and I didn't have the time to wait for him to show up.

Atmosphere was lovely (decorated for Christmas!) Sarah and Reggie took great care of us- felt like we were special guests! They were so sweet and service was great. Also want to note that they were great with my peanut allergy- very attentive and thoughtful and thorough. I got the steak frites which were good and reasonably priced! My friend got the strawberry salad which she said wasn't great but fine (in case you don't know this either- gorgonzola is a kind of blue cheese!) Also as a note: park in the first lot on your right when approaching the restaurant. Took us a sec!

Came here for the views. The menu did not have a lot of options. Esp. no vegan or vegetarian options. Should be a good place for seafood. Loved the fries and taziki sauce. The falafel was bland and hard inside. The chicken sandwich had a sweet taste throughout. The pickles weren't great and it had a cinnamon taste to it. The deck had a good ambience. Enough room for people and can social distance. They had a live music performance too. Good place for dogs!!

I had such an amazing experience eating at the deck with my family and most importantly my furry friend Rufus. I went to Newport to visit and brought my dog along so it was nice to find a place that allowed dogs. We sat outdoor and had an AMAZING waitress. She brought us water for my dog and was just super kind and friendly. The owner of the deck is so invested in his brand and likes to test our different drinks. He had a new machine and created a frozen drink with some pink Whitney which he gave samples out for. I ended up getting the full drink because it was sooo good. The lobster rolls were really really good and juicy. The manager was also very attentive and went around to different tables to check up on all the customers. I'd definitely go back again to the deck when I go visit Newport. I'd 100% recommend this place to everyone.

Imitation crab they advertise as "fresh crab"

Probably shouldn't advertise "fresh crab" in the ceviche when this is clearly imitation crab. God knows what else they're cutting corners with. If you're not a college kid looking to get drunk with terrible service, don't bother coming here.

I ordered the salmon poke bowl from here yesterday. The food tasted great, the wait staff was very kind, and it was an overall good experience. A few hours later, I developed food poisoning. I hadn't eaten anything other than this yesterday evening, so I'm confident that it was the cause. Update: My mom spoke with the owner regarding the situation, who was very surprised and apologetic. He himself was eating a poke bowl at the time. He offered to remedy the situation with a comped meal or a gift certificate, which we are supposed to receive via e-mail. My mom informed him that we truly just wanted to let him know to avoid the situation from happening again. I hate to say anything negative about this restaurant, but five days and an urgent care visit later, I'm still dealing with the ramifications of this meal. To those eating here, perhaps choose a dish without raw fish in it.

I'm so glad we stumbled upon this hidden spot! We were looking for dog friendly restaurants in Newport and this place had the highest rating on Bring Fido. It's off the main drag and it's right on the water! A great spot to enjoy boat watching! The food was excellent! I enjoyed a tuna poke bowl and my husband devoured his overflowing lobster roll. Drinks were delicious and service was awesome! This might just be my new favorite spot in Newport

Service was slow as hell at 8:30 pm. The whole place was empty by9. The food was just okay. We weren't overly impressed.

We just had another fabulous dinner at Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant--our second time dining here…read moresince last fall, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We arrived a little early for our 4:00 p.m. reservation, and the place was already packed. While we waited by the bar, a very nice waitress took our drink order--a lemon drop martini, beautifully crafted, well-balanced, and pleasantly strong. We were seated shortly after and, of course, ordered another. (Both times, I took several sips before remembering to take a photo!) Our waitress, Mikela, was truly lovely--sincere, sweet, and very courteous. She was attentive throughout the meal without ever being intrusive, which made the experience feel relaxed and effortless. At the end, I told her I wished I could give her 6 stars, but Yelp only allows 5. For dinner, we both ordered the seared rare ahi tuna steak. I had mine with garlic bread, while my husband chose mashed potatoes. I also added the $9.95 salad buffet, which is such a great deal--you definitely won't leave hungry. I especially love their buffet-style salad bar, which offers nearly every option one could want. Both of our ahi tuna steaks were fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Once again, I dug into my tuna before remembering to take a photo! We finished the meal with a cheesecake to share--another delicious ending to a wonderful dinner. We're already planning our next visit--there are still so many dishes and drinks we'd love to try.

One of the best meals I've had in recent memory. We sat at the bar where you can see the cooks work…read moretheir magic which set the tone wonderfully. We started off with drinks --gin dirty martini and a classic old fashion, both were perfectly made and crisp. Food: Appetizer-warm bread with butter was a nice starter. However I wish we got the escargot with bone marrow as we watched it being made it looked and smelled delicious. Entrees- we split a 27 oz ribeye and the scallops. The steak was a beautiful cut of meat, well marbled, cooked to perfection and seared so nicely. It was sooo tasty and seared with Malden salt. We are pretty snobby when it comes to steak and this was probably the best steak I've ever had out at a restaurant. The scallops similarly were cooked and seared perfectly and seasoned correctly. Laid on a bed of watercress and potato fondant it was the perfect delicate bite and contrasted nicely with the steak. We got the side of brussel sprouts with peanut Rayu which was a beautiful flavor bomb. I can't say enough about the food. Every single thing we ordered was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I find that to be a rarity in today's restaurant scene. I could not recommend this place more. We really enjoyed it and this will be used as a comparison to every restaurant I go to going forward. 6/5 stars! Come here

We started with the Caesar salad which was pretty good. We also ordered the bread and butter which was underwhelming for something so simple. For our main course, we had the bone-in ribeye steak. Unfortunately, the steak was chewy which was disappointing, especially for the price. The brown butter sauce was delicious and definitely helped. The restaurant itself is very cute inside. We were hoping to get seats at the bar so we could watch the chefs in action, but even though we ended up at a table, the atmosphere was still enjoyable.

You could order drinks as well, but we opted to wait until we sat down to start. The terrace is lit up with fairy lights and the hosts even had blankets for when it got a bit chillier after dark. The food was amazing -- we started with the chickpea fritters which were wonderfully portioned and had amazing sauce. Then my friend got the vegetable pasta (she's a vegetarian!) and I had the harvest salad with chicken. Both were so yummy and felt very fresh. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. I would absolutely come back here for another girls trip or on a date!

While waiting for our table, we grabbed drinks from the bar down by the water and took in the beautiful scenery. Our seating was delayed due to another party overstaying their table, but the hostesses kept us informed and even offered a complimentary champagne toast to make up for the wait--such a nice touch. We ordered a wide variety of dishes: crudité to start, followed by the lobster roll (both hot and cold), fish tacos, burrata LT, steak, and pasta. We loved every single bite. Multiple people in our group said the burrata LT was one of the best sandwiches they've ever had.The only miss was the lobster bisque special--it wasn't cream-based as we expected, so it wasn't to our taste. We finished with the basque cheesecake and keylime pie, both amazing. That said, this place is an absolute can't-miss when in Newport. We're so glad we chose to stay for a full meal instead of just stopping by for drinks.
