I had so many guests coming up and asking me where I found this guy, he was such a vibe! Al was also great on the phone during our consultation call before the wedding, thinking of little details even my Type A self hadn't planned out, and just made the whole process so easy. He coordinated so well with our live musicians and officiant for the ceremony too, helping mic them and get speakers ready so everything could run smoothly. For the reception I gave him a list of songs that were our favorites to pull from and told him to add whatever he thought was needed to keep the dancing going, and he rocked it! We love Al!!!! Thanks so much for making our wedding a blast

Exceptional - that's the word that comes to mind when we think of Exclusively Entertainment. From…read morestart to finish, Iman and his team did absolutely everything they could do to make the wedding planning process seamless and our wedding day exactly how we imagined. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic and things were constantly uncertain as to whether or not the wedding would be able go to on. Iman and DJ Kia had routine calls with us to check-in and offer advice. We knew we could trust their opinions and flexility during the uncertain times. On the day of the wedding, DJ Kia was so involved with every aspect of the ceremony and reception. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. He literally orchestrated our ceremony processional and was making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone felt at ease walking down the aisle because DJ Kia was there to send them off. We were lucky enough to have Iman MC our wedding, and believe us when we tell you he knows how to put on a show. The dance floor comes alive with Iman on stage and everyone was out of their seats and dancing the entire night. Our cocktail hour ended up going over schedule, which pushed back our reception. It was no worry though, because Iman was there to quickly restructure the timeline and ensure everything ran smoothly. Even with unexpected issues, we felt completely at ease knowing he had us covered. He is such a genuine person who truly cares about his client's happiness. We also used Night Owls for our video production and working with them was a truly pleasant experience. They captured every aspect of the wedding beautifully. In just a few short weeks, we had our trailer and wedding video created, both of which were edited to our liking. They were extremely patient with us throughout the process and the end result is videos we still can't stop watching! Thank you to Brandon and the team at Night Owls for all of their hard work. We also want to give a special thanks to Wake on the sax, Farzan on the drums, and Cyrus on the cello. These three gentleman made the music come alive and our guests could not stop raving about how talented they were. My wife and I still talk about just how great it was working with Exclusively Entertainment and we would absolutely recommend them for your events!

He has a very simple and efficient set up with lights and sound systems. What was really impressive for us were the music videos that he played that went with the music. Once we saw that and saw/heard his transitions we knew he was the DJ we wanted. We had an unusual theme for our wedding, we did a costume theme "Talk Nerdy to Me" and Paul was not only happy to work with us, but he also had some awesome ideas on how to truly make it our own. With the video screen package, he was able to do movie/you tube clips and a slide show. When it came to getting strange and unusual music, Paul was able to do it with no issues. We asked for quite a few songs that were not in his database including traditional Chinese and Estonian Country music and he was able to get it with no issues. His online planning system made it really easy for us to put our Ceremony and Reception plan together. All of my guests LOVED the music choices. Part of it was our doing in putting together a song list, and part of it was Paul reading the party and playing accordingly. He even accommodated my niece's request for the Hokie Pokie. Don't take my word for it, Weddings are not the gigs he does in the DC area. Watch him in action and see for yourself. I feel that if other businesses book him on a regular basis, he is probably a good choice for your wedding. I am really glad I acted on this assumption, and had a chance to work with Paul. He has my highest recommendations.

At the last minute, he wasn't going to be able to get his equipment out to us in time so I found Paul and reached out to him. Paul told me he was available and met with us in person. He was reasonably priced and we couldn't have lucked out better for a last minute booking. Even though our friend couldn't DJ, Paul let him do all of the introductions which was really sweet. He even let our friend take the reigns and do a couple songs! Paul never felt like our friend was stepping on his toes and we really appreciated that he let us do that. Paul kept the party going from the beginning. I've had so many people since the end of our wedding telling me how great our DJ was. We had a weird mix of twenty somethings and sixty somethings with not much in between. Even still, Paul was able to judge the crowd and keep people dancing. I don't think there was a second all night long that people weren't all over the dance floor! His online portal is very straight forward and easy to use. I was able to put in many details and everything we wanted to hear was played at our wedding. Paul is also not one of those DJs that keeps interrupting songs to talk. He knew when it was appropriate to interject and when it wasn't. My husband commented that this was one of his favorite things about Paul: his professionalism on and off the dance floor. Definitely consider Paul Surreal Entertainment for your next event - you won't regret it!

He arrived early, was professional and most prepared for his setup (he had the equipment necessary for both the setup & teardown as well as for the event). The uplighting and custom booth graphic were most impressive to our guests. The sound was perfect for my neighborhood, the music transitions were fire! The fact that he had a microphone available so food service could be announced to the crowd as well as the couple could thank their guests for coming was a bonus. I would contact him immediately if I were you.

He played all of the songs off the list we gave him and did a great job of figuring out what other songs we might like based upon our musical interests. His attention to detail and professionalism were second to none. He made sure that he could pronounce everyone's name correctly and he double checked the times that we were doing the cake cutting, father daughter dance, etc. I think the biggest testament to him was that all throughout the night we kept getting people coming up to us asking for his name and number. I think he got like 3 requests for other weddings just during the 4 hours he was working ours! There are a lot of people out there who are much more expensive than Marc, but unless they are serving food in between songs, I don't know how they could justify those prices.
