Opened just prior to COVID at The Mayfair Townhouse and hitting its stride, The Dandy is a bar and light bites restaurant located in the lobby level of this boutique hotel whose sister properties include The Cadogan, Cliveden House and Chewton Glenn.
The Dandy draws on the heritage of Oscar Wilde having lived on the street amongst others and has a mixology program which references the rich literary references Wilde bequeathed to us.
We tried the cocktails which were well
Balanced and had great taste - the bar team also are versatile and can both advise on the best choice for your palette as well as create drinks off menu.
The food selection is light and flavorful. We tried
The Dorset crab and avocado and the autumnal
Greens. Main courses were fish and steak - though the gnocchi has a strong following.
