Attended a TNR here and it was amazing! The fact that they offer that service (of proving information by experts) for free shows how dedicated they are to their mission. I can not recommend this place more! Absolute must visit. They also had several stickers, merch and the cutest cat shaped soaps here. Cant wait to come back and play with the kitties :)

Highly reccomend to everyone, this place is really good. For a small amount you can spend an hour there with cats, pet them, play with them, even do work on your laptop while they walk around you. All the money go towards helping cats and so far this cat cafe helped over 1,210 cats get adopted, which is amazing. There are also events each Saturday like yoga, crafts, drawing. I'll keep on coming back! The staff is nice too.

We went here during the afternoon so we only saw about 4 cats. Only 2 were awake and playing the other 2 were asleep. If you want to see more cats you can go in the morning or evening. There are a lot of cat toys to play with and some treats that you can give them. Employees were friendly and informative. There is even a small table with cat related items that you can buy like stickers, etc. I will probably go back to attend one of their events.

Spent a fun, peaceful hour hanging out with the cats in this cat lounge. Our new friends are a calico named Lady Gaga and white cat named Rosco. We played with them, sat and let them come to us, and perused the photo albums of the thousand plus cats that have been adopted through this nonprofit. What a lovely idea. The volunteers were clearly big fans of the cats they care for. As adoptive parents to a tortoiseshell named Patchy, we are happy to know these cats are being loved and taken home.

Check out these paw-some kittens! The Dancing Cat is a cute cat lounge located on 17th St. near Downtown San Jose. They don't have a parking lot, but there's plenty of free sidewalk parking in front of nearby residential areas. We paid $10 for a 1-hour session with the cats. Masks are required, and you can buy one there for $1 if you don't have one with you. The usual rules apply, don't pick up any of the cats but there are tons of toys for you to use when playing with the cats. I fell in love with a cat named Hula, he was super chill! The cats were super friendly and it was fun getting to play with them. There were about 10 cats total roaming around the lounge space or sleeping. Overall, I had a great experience here and it was also cheaper and less crowded compared to Mini Cat Town at Eastridge. Would definitely recommend!

An amazing organization truly committed to caring for and improving the lives of stray cats in Santa Clara County. The staff are dedicated and the cats are delightful. There is lots of programming from yoga to concerts that you can come and do (with the cats of course) and you might just find your new best feline friend.

I came here for one of their events (Mew-sic Night: Sitar and Tabla), and had a wonderful experience. It is definitely the perfect outing if you love cats and appreciate diverse types of music. The performers were talented, but also very friendly and good spirited in character, giving off a positive vibe the whole time. The music was creative and soothing, and the musicians even educated the crowd about their instruments and the purpose of their music (adding in some cultural and historical elements). They were very knowledgeable and eager to answer people's questions too. We were able to explore the premises, while interacting with and taking photos of the adorable cats lying on the ground or in cat tunnels, climbing towers or jumping on people's laps, or walking quietly from room to room. A lot of the cats hung out in the back rooms, small areas decorated with pet beds, cat accessories, and cute lighting. They all looked very happy, healthy, and well taken care of. The workers/volunteers were great too, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The environment is amazing, well designed to be an oasis for cats (and cat-lovers), and with beautiful artwork lining the walls. I don't even own any cats and really loved this place. In fact, if you don't own cats, this a great setting to find a new furry friend. Street parking only, but we had no problem finding free parking less than a block away on a Friday evening.

I came here with my brother on a Sunday afternoon and it was a lovely experience! All of the staff there are incredibly nice and accommodating with any questions I had. They were more than happy to talk about the cats and introduce ones around us. The cats were pretty mellow during the time I was here and there weren't that many due to some being adopted recently, but there were some really sweet cats that loved being petted and it was fun to interact with them. The place itself feels so welcoming! There's plenty of natural light coming in and it's well-decorated to create a fun environment. So many toys and treats were laid out so ppl could interact with the cats in different ways and there are also a lot of cat-themed books for reading, which I thought was cute. There's a tiny station for tea and of course, lint rollers were provided too. They sell merch like stickers and clothes too! For $15, I had a pretty enjoyable experience for much less than I'd pay for at other cat cafes. I would definitely come again and recommend to others :)

The amenities as listed in the Yelp description are incorrect, based on my attempted visit.

I have tried to visit this location for an event. When I was there, the entrance was not wheelchair accessible. Unless they have built a ramp since then, it is not wheelchair accessible and not ADA Compliant. Because the facility was not ADA compliant I have not been able to visit during business operations. Unless the facility has been brought into ADA compliance, the Amenities listing here needs to be corrected. I see the bullet point about an accessible restroom is not checked off. As long as there is no accessible restroom, then the facility is not ADA compliant.

Loved this place so much that I came a second time shortly after. They have quite a lot of cats, although most are napping. Still, you can pet them and relax. It's quite affordable compared to the other cat cafes I looked at and the ambiance of the main room is bright and adorable. There's a small area where you can make yourself a cup of tea. The staff are very friendly and I considered fostering cats after visiting. It's definitely a chill place to bring cat-loving friends or a date.

oooooh my goodness. the best hidden gem in south bay for cat lovers. location/parking: a few blocks away from downtown sj. ample street parking. price:$10/ hr. They're only open fridays and saturdays 12-4 pm at 1 hr time slots. Be sure to book online 1 week in advance since they only have 6 slots per hour. atmosphere: THE BEST. I've been to ~10 cat cafes in/out of the country. this one is the loveliest I've been to, that I actually booked 3 sessions within a week. At several previous cafes I've been to, it was obvious that the cats were stressed/ tired of human interaction. However, the cat to person ratio was so good and the space was clean and calming. the cats were SO FRIENDLY! several rubbed my legs and one hopped onto my lap it was a dream. (edit: just want to mention this isn't a cat cafe, but instead, an adoption center. All the cats here are up for adoption, which makes this place even better. ) food: you can bring in your own food I think? but I didn't bc covid. free treats u can feed the cats though. there's also free wifi last remarks: go earlier in the day! the cats tend to get tired out as the day goes by and want to nap. they're livelier in the early afternoons. I also want to give a shout-out to the front desk lady! She was so accommodating to me and helped me reschedule my appt, and she even remembered when I talked about my attachment to a certain cat the week prior. It's obvious how much the staff care about the cats' well-beings. thank you, I wish I could visit every weekend.

I stopped in today with my boyfriend after making a reservation online. I am so happy I decided to come!! The overall concept of the Dancing Cat is amazing-- a non-profit to help cats get adopted. It was a very open and clean space, and the staff was very kind and answered any and all questions asked. They had cat treats you could hand out, as well as snacks for humans for purchase. Some really cute merch too! There are a BUNCH of toys and activities to engage the cats in. They also have a wall with info and pics of the cats available to foster and on site. The wall said that as of today they have 1329 cats adopted! So incredible and will definitely be back

Hello! just wondering if we are able to come in and visit some cats without adopting? thank you

The Dancing Cat is delighted to welcome visitors back onsite for hourly visits with our cohort of adoptable cats. Reservations and masks are required, and all guests must be aged five or over. For reservation information, please visit our website…

What are the appropriate ages to bring a young child to this place? Can I bring a 3 year old if she is gentle?

While we love kids, we must limit guests to ages 5 and above in order for cats and other guests to have the best experience possible.

Just two and a half weeks before the event, I received a text message from the owner saying he had accidentally double booked my date and was asking if I could move the event to another day. I was completely shocked and devastated. I have family traveling from Mexico and Los Angeles, and I've already paid for the caterer, DJ, decorator, cake, and photographer. When you plan an event like this almost a year in advance, it's not something you can just change last minute. He offered to refund my money or try to find another venue, but how could I trust him again after such a huge mistake? I had no choice but to start over and look for another place, which means paying extra fees, delivery charges, and the inconvenience of relocating everything to Gilroy. Because of this, my daughter will no longer have her church ceremony, and that breaks my heart. This experience has been stressful, costly, and deeply disappointing. I do not recommend doing business with this person or this venue. They were unprofessional, careless, and completely unreliable with something so important. He doesn't even deserve the 1 star !!!

While the actual space was on the smaller intimate side, Max Capacity is 120 guests-- so you can still have a good amount of folks for a party. Did I mention it includes a red carpet? It was rolled out for all of us upon entering and added that extra bit of glamour to match the occasion. Once inside, I appreciated the white walls and black drapes. There were multiple TV screens thoughtfully placed on the walls to showcase the celebrant. Later on, these same TV screens were used to present a slideshow of the birthday gal. Uplighting was laid out on the ground to lend to the atmosphere. In the middle was a mini stage that could be used for anything from performances to a DJ. The backlit black drapery behind the stage also gave cabaret vibes. From the looks of it, you could opt to bring your own catered food and also use their in house catering. For this specific party, they had both. The star of the food was their baked chicken-- It was tasty and fork tender. If I had to be nitpicky, the bathroom air freshener scent was off-putting. I couldn't wait to get out of there and switched to mouth breathing immediately. Other than that, this is definitely a place to consider for your next event.

They made sure everything ran smoothly, so we could relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. If you're looking for a stunning venue that offers both beauty and impeccable service, we wholeheartedly recommend The Glasshouse! We loved our experience at Glasshouse, and there is one individual that we would like to specifically mention. Our event coordinator, Savanah, was incredible and really made the entire process and day as memorable as can be. From the moment she took over for our previous coordinator, Savanah exceeded all of our expectations and brought a level of dedication, care, and professionalism that made our wedding day unforgettable. Our previous coordinator was nice but often offered empty platitudes. We didn't feel like she really heard our questions or request and would often have to remind her of our previous conversations and agreement, also constantly having to send reminders for updates - she is no longer with the venue. When Savanah took over, it was a huge blessing. We had actually met Savanah prior when we were touring the venue and loved working with her instantly but the event coordination was handled by the previous coordinator at the time. We couldn't be more thrilled to have Savanah take over as our event coordinator. She was personable, responsive, and always available for questions. Savanah's attention to detail, communication, and responsiveness was second to none. She made sure every aspect of our wedding was flawlessly executed, from the smallest decor elements to the smooth coordination of the entire event. It was clear that she not only understood our vision, but also cared deeply about bringing it to life in the best way possible. Beyond her exceptional organizational skills, Savanah's kindness, generosity, and personable character made for a truly exceptional experience. She was always there for us, offering support and coordinating with our wedding coordinators to make sure everything was well thought out and ran smoothly. Her thoughtful approach and genuine care for us made the entire planning process a pleasure. We always felt at ease knowing we had such a competent and compassionate professional in our corner. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and more, and we owe so much of that to Savanah. Even after the wedding, she was still checking in on us to make sure everything was what we hoped it would be and even went out of her way to offer us her congratulations. What more can we say to express how much we loved working with Savanah except simply thank you for making our wedding day the best we could have imagined. We are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to work with you, and we could not recommend you more highly for all to-be-newlyweds. I want to give a detailed, honest account of our experience, because future couples deserve to know what to expect from current management -- while also giving credit where it's due. We booked in August 2025 after a great early experience with the original sales and management team. Within days of signing our contract & paying our deposit, owner Gene let that entire team go & brought in new management, including current General Manager Jennifer Marinucci. For two weeks, we heard nothing -- no introduction, no acknowledgment of our contract. I had to be proactive myself, reaching out to our former manager, who connected me with Savanah, still employed there at the time. Savanah became my only real lifeline to the venue - she made me feel heard & seen as a client in a way no one on the new team did. In March 2026, Savanah resigned. She didn't reach out-I later learned she was honoring Glasshouse's own no-contact policy for departed employees - so I found out from another vendor & had to reach back out to her myself. The genuine relationship we'd built carried forward, and it's ultimately what allowed her to be a guest at our wedding. With no one telling me who was now handling my wedding, more weeks of silence followed. Almost three weeks later, Jennifer finally emailed me first -- our actual first real communication, outside a dismissive greeting at a tasting -- writing as if we already had an established relationship, which we didn't. I responded with my frustration about the lack of communication since she'd taken over, & that's where the pettiness on her end began. Despite that exchange, at our first in-person meeting Jennifer was unprepared -- she hadn't reviewed our contract, & told me I'd owe extra for servers and bartenders on top of the Platinum package I'd already put a deposit on. Those services were never presented as add-ons during our sales process; we were led to believe they were included. That same meeting is when she assigned a new coordinator, Amber, to my wedding. From there, our experience with that team was defined by pettiness rather than service- more focused on being "right" & extracting extra money than on actually helping. It escalated after my Day of Coordinator submitted a request that Jennifer and Amber not handle my wedding directly, since I'd lost trust in them. Their response was, once again, more pettiness rather than addressing why a paying client had lost confidence: they tried to restrict my already-paid setup hours to a single vendor only, threatening extra charges for any other vendor using that same paid window. Their emails at times felt outright bullying - my Day of Coordinator personally witnessed this the week of our wedding, when Jennifer invoked a contract clause (the "Zilla Clause") allowing the venue to keep all our money if they decided we were being "unprofessional." Raising that 6 days before our wedding, over a routine scheduling dispute, is not how you treat a client who's paid $37,000. To add on, when finalizing our 2 weeks before the wedding, Amber failed to mention our Platinum package included two plated appetizers, leaving our order at one -- I only caught it because I knew the package details myself. She also never disclosed a $7.50/person surcharge for steak-and-fish duet plates. After giving her our headcount, she sent an invoice overcharging us by nearly $4,000 due to an incorrect guest count. She also gave one of my vendors incorrect info, claiming they were req to carry workers' comp insurance for the event. For a venue at this price point, these weren't minor oversights. On the wedding day, our setup team's contracted 12:00 PM access was delayed to 12:30 PM, after being kept waiting outside roughly an hour and a half. That pushed our guests' entry back an extra 30 minutes. I was also told, & had this corroborated through more than one source, that Jennifer attempted to dictate who could be on my own guest list -- specifically objecting to Savanah's presence as my invited guest. I was shielded from all of this thanks entirely to my Day of Coordinator and our decor team. None of this reflects on Glasshouse's operations staff. Operations Manager Oswaldo & his team executed our actual event flawlessly - attentive, professional, and clearly experienced. If our day felt seamless, it's because of Oswaldo's team, not management. If you book Glasshouse, the operations team on the ground can deliver a beautiful event. But be prepared for inconsistent communication & a management style that can turn adversarial - even in the final week before your wedding. I'm happy to answer questions from other couples considering this venue-message me here. Until management changes, I don't want anyone else to go through what we did. The Owner & sales mgmnt team is the same as The Corinthian in San Jose - couples & event planners beware of that place too.
