Had some time before being seated at Outback so we decided to cone see the kitties. We normally just watch them from outside but my toddler insisted that we go inside. She definitely had fun playing with the kitties with the cat toys. I enjoyed relaxing next to them and petting them. It was towards the end of the day so most were getting tired but a few still had some energy. It was a fun 30 minutes. Its worth a trip if you like cats.

Awesome taste, conveniently located and fantastic price. Is my go to place for a hot soup!

Was a bit put off by the 1 star reviews of more people than cats, so I decided to take my 2 and 6 year old on a Monday afternoon instead of the weekend. It was a great experience for the whole family! There were more kittens than people first of all. The staff was. Helpful in getting my 6 year old situated with a kitten on his lap right away. I was able to follow suit and get my daughter a kitten on her lap. I played with the kittens in the floor with what looks like a short fishing pole and a fluffy tail. There was enough time for the kids to be focused on the kittens and a little me time to relax and just sit on the couch observing the room. We then all sat together while our friend kitten "Bamboo" sat on me and even kissed me on my face! I passed him off to my son's lap and he did the same and kissed him on the face. Very nice experience with the place overall. Thankfully the kids don't know this place is an adoption agency and never asked for me to adopt Bamboo! If he is still around, he sure to scoop him up! He is a sweetheart! Jody was also a close second! So if you see there are more people than cats than don't go in would be my recommendation. Go in when there is less crowd overall to have a better experience.

$15 for 30 min for adults. A lot of cats, doesn't smell inside, a ton of toys to use to interact with the kittens.

If you love kitties you must visit Mini Cat Town!!! For $15 you can spend 30 mins hanging out with some cuties. What's also great is you have the opportunity to adopt them! It's an amazing chance to do some bonding before buying! As someone who's allergic to cats, (I take a claritin before going lol) it's nice that I have a place I can hangout with cats and feel the momentary bliss cat owners must have all the time! The staff keeps the place clean for every session and you can tell they take care of the kittens really well. And I love that our entry fee goes towards helping the kitties and maintaining the facility!

My friend told me about this place and my children love animals. We decided to go for the last admission time on a weekday, which is at 630 pm. You need to fill out a waiver and wear shoe covers. The cats were so friendly and my kids cuddled and played with them for 30 minutes. My kids were so happy- the cat we have at home is beautiful but she's not nice! Will definitely return!

I love cats, so I come here often. It's best to drop by on weekdays when there are fewer people around, meaning more cats for you! As you might know, cats are independent creatures, so you can't really control whether they like you or not. I did my best to be more likable, and eventually, one did sit on my lap, although it doesn't happen very often for others. The cost to play for 30 minutes is $15, which isn't bad. However, the adoption fee can be steep, depending on how long the cat has been there. I think it's a great spot to visit, especially for those like me who can't have a cat of their own.

This was surprisingly a REALLY popular place on a Sunday afternoon. There were 20+ people inside and not as many kittens as I expected. When I arrived, there was a waitlist. Luckily I only had to wait 10 minutes. There were couches and benches for guests to sit on. Many toys and cat towers scattered around. Once you're inside, you smell fish and musk. So keep that mind - it should be expected. Many of the kittens were either sleeping, hiding, or eating. There were playful ones, but also many that would hide under couches or try to escape into the backroom. I wish the workers and volunteers were more helpful. Approaching the kittens wasn't easy.

Are they babysitting people, or are the people babysitting the cats? Our friend was tired of walking, so we dropped her off here. Super expensive, and she said the cats seemed like they were on catnip to get them energized. She said she would have liked to see more cats. Also, with the super high hundreds of dollars adoption fee fee people would adopt these cats.

Kitty heaven!!! I'm a crazy cat lady (with no cats) so stumbling upon a local nonprofit with kitties seemed right up my alley. These kitties were so social and playful (most of them sleepy because being cute all the time is a very difficult task indeed) and the place was clean! Only setback was I feel that the space was small/limited, so I understand the earlier reviews regarding there being "more people than cats." But rather than focusing on that, I just love the idea of being able to play with kittens and helping this place out, and at the end of the day, all we really want is for these kittens to go to loving homes, and socializing them enough to prepare them for that! Five stars for the kitties, but realistically, 4 for the amount of space/guest capacity ratio (but considering it was a Saturday, it's definitely case-by-case). Will definitely come back! And I hope anyone that has the opportunity to visit these kitties come with an open mind.

We thought our daughter would have an amazing time here playing with the cats. She loves animals and when she saw this place she was so excited. The girl at the front spoke really softly and mumbled so it was hard to hear her. They let way too many people in after my daughter was enjoying herself for only 5 mins. There were more people than cats. She was able to play with 2 cats within 5 mins. She was trying to look for other cats to entertain but there weren't any available. The staff weren't monitoring the people. Little kids were running around chasing the cats. I saw a little boy being rough with one of the cats. The young staff were just sitting at the check in table on their phone. The soft spoke girl just kept letting in more and more people. The girl told me if I wasn't going to pay to go inside where the cats are, then I have to wait outside of the glass doors. But she didn't tell the other parents who were hanging around that didn't pay. What a waste of $15 for 30 minutes. Really we paid $15 for 5 mins...

My kid volunteers here. They are super nice and you can sign up for shifts whenever you need to chill out with some kitten friends.

They were in the news for having their own internal issues and may not get funding from the county due to their inability to assist the homeless. I would not even try to get them to help in San Jose. We need a task force and better planning from the Governor, Mayor and County to get anything done to get people out of the rivers, ponds and streets. Our government is failing us so how can we expect nonprofits to get anything done either?

That's how stupidly thin they are. They have a program called New Start. It's basically work for the homeless people at the shelter but they don't get paid, have to work 8 hours ever day (no day off). And the privileges they get because of New Start doesn't add up to the work they put in daily. The Case workers they assign and give to the homeless people don't give them many resources and often times tell the homeless person what to do once and then never meet with them unless asked to. No regular meetings. Social Workers are meant to meet you once every week. I have photographic proof ofSpoiled food they give too. The workers all seem like they work there just for money and not to help other human beings who are struggling to get by. It's so inhumane and cruel and the Home First homeless shelter (2011 Little Orchard St, San Jose, CA 95125) is the one I'm writing about. My friend lives there and often tells me about these things and I've went with them to see and I've seen horrible things from this place.
