I have had two daughters dance here for many years, and with my youngest now graduating, I wanted to share our experience. After starting in recreational classes, both of my daughters chose the competitive path, which has been an incredible journey. Not only have they grown tremendously in their technique, but they have also learned valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, commitment, and perseverance. What stands out most is that this studio continues to get better every year. It has been exciting to watch its growth and evolution. The coaches are talented, supportive, and genuinely invested in their dancers. My daughters loved spending their time here, and it became so much more than just a dance studio. They built lifelong friendships, created wonderful memories, and gained coaches who continue to cheer them on both inside and outside the studio. Another thing I appreciate is that there truly is something for everyone. Whether your child is looking for recreational classes or wants to pursue dance at a highly competitive level, there are opportunities to fit their goals and interests. This studio has always prioritized quality over quantity, and that commitment shows. Holiday weekend Recitals are so ridiculous. It's unfortunate because I have to travel from the East Coast to see my grandchildren and on one of the most expensive weekends of travel every year. I have two daughters that have been dancing here for seven years. They both decided to take the competitive route after doing recreational dance for three years, which has been a great path for them. They have grown so much in technique, but also with working together with a team (life skills). I feel that this studio gets better better with every year. It's exciting to see the growth of this studio. The coaches are so much fun, and my daughters love spending time here. It's become a 2nd home for them, and they are making wonderful friends and memories. Another great thing about this studio is you have many options for your child's personal needs. Our daughter has danced here for several years now and it is amazing to see how she has progressed as well as the entire center itself. Tia and Laura have clearly put remarkable time and effort into making this place world-class. Can we talk about the teachers? 1. Elitist 2. Horrible customer service/treatment of parents 3. EXPENSIVE 1. If your child wants to be in the Dance Center's community production of the Nutcracker, they must PAY to participate. There's a $395 participation fee. Parents must donate 30 hours of their time OR pay $400. There is also a costume fee. In addition, parents must still pay for tickets (~$65) to watch their children perform. Oh yeah, you must also continue to pay for your monthly classes. Discriminates against children who can't afford these outrageous fees and disabled or working parents who can't volunteer. Scholarships are available but only for the very low income. 2. Customer service is disappointing and a bad example for the children. All registration and billing is facilitated via their website/portal which is substandard and not fully compatible with iOS. Billing is done on the 25th of the month for the FOLLOWING month. No matter what your excuse (not even a death in the family, a glitch in their portal or a lost/stolen wallet) they will bill you a $25 late fee plus a $3 processing fee. If your child misses a class they used to allow a makeup class but for some reason no longer will. 3. Expensive. Each hour of class costs $86.25. read more

We love the dance center and have experienced helpful and professional responses. My only exception to that experience was yesterday on recital day. I would think twice about joining the recital If your child is not in a multitude of dances. We had our first recital yesterday and on dropping off my daughter and her friend we were met at the door where they had to take off their sweatshirts, their flip-flops and were told they couldn't bring in their dance bags which had water and snacks. These two kids weren't performing until after the intermission and 5 dances in to the second half, and tights were not a part of their costume, nor shoes. The woman at the door pressed the issue and said the floors were heated and they wouldn't be cold, and also said they might lose the sweatshirts if they wore them in - which was fine because we wore old clothes for just that reason. When I had called earlier that week I was told they were allowed to bring bags and my girls reported other kids had bags with them. But after the recital ended, the girls reported having been very cold, and thirsty and that the floors weren't heated. Many of the other dancers had long tights on and multiple costumes so I understand the reasoning for not wanting bags everywhere, and they could afford to allow wearing sweatshirts in the future for those not making any costume change. It was a blanket rule not taking into consideration the exception or length of time sitting around (these two girls being in one class and having one recital number). Overall, cute smooth show without tech glitches or delays. Approx 2 hour show. Fast line for picking up your child after. Just an over-reaction on their part about the sweatshirts and the mixed information allowing bags or not and some kids getting to bring water bottles and others not being allowed. read more

We love The Dance Center!! A place that my daughter calls her 2nd home. The studios are beautiful and clean. The teachers have always been so supportive and fun and they all continue to challenge my daughter every day. Tia and Laura have been wonderful role models since day one. Constantly providing challenges and opportunities so my daughter continues to grow both as a dancer and a person. They have created such a wonderful and positive environment. To start with, the owners and faculty at The Dance Center are the best! With years of experience in dance and dance education they run a professional business! In the classrooms, the kids are engaged, respectful and improving their skills week to week. This speaks volumes about the teachers and the quality of teaching and care they provide. This space is a state of the art facility. I love that the common areas and the dance studios are always super clean and provides a safe environment for all. Our daughter has danced at TDC since its inception. Over the past 8 years, she's enjoyed a variety of classes and has been a part of several competition teams. She even spent 5 years performing as part of their Musical Theater department. We cannot write enough about this fabulous studio! The directors, Tia and Laura, work incredibly hard to meet the individual needs of all their dancers - from the tiniest 2's to the graduating seniors. They are professional, kind, approachable, and adaptable. When COVID hit, they instantly shifted to an online, virtual platform before going on to construct a top notch outdoor facility. They kept our kids dancing without missing a beat, and for that, I'm extremely grateful! In addition to the directors, the instructors at TDC are fantastic. With extensive and varied professional backgrounds, they each bring something unique and positive to TDC's wide array of classes. Overall, this is a dance studio filled with educators who want their dancers to succeed. Whether on a recreational path or a pre-professional one, dancers are mentored and supported in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility. A huge variety of classes, awesome location, well priced and all quality instructors. I appreciate the ample dance space provided as well as a limit on the number of students per class. No crazy uniform requirements either. TDC is a fantastic environment for all dancers! Just 2 class- Mrs. Laura does a fantastic job. I really love the schedule of the class. Upon arrival you do a hello song. Then during each transition the lights go off and she passes out materials for the next activity, each active lasts about 5 minutes. The teacher was great at keeping the young audience engaged. In addition, every activity was specifically implemented for this young group. Such a great class! read more

Amazing dance studio it is nice and big and has a whole bunch of dance studios inside. There are classes from ballet all the way to musical theater. They have awesome teachers that are willing to help and share whenever you are hurt in class. TDC is just amazing is all I can think of to say right now. read more

Both my son and daughter have started taking classes in this gorgeous, state of the art facility. It has the smell and style of a spa, but the energy of something young and cutting edge. The teachers we have worked with so far are on top of their game and I am looking forward to meeting the rest. They have double sprung floors to help protect dancers joints! My 3.5 y/o dalughter has been attending classes here for the past year and she LOVES it although she is often shy and a little clingy to mama in the beginning. Her teacher, Ms. Laura and her wonderful aides take the time to give her special cuddles and hugs in order to make her feel comfortable. In no time she is dancing and tapping with all the other little girls in her class. I appreciate this level of care and effort they take to make sure all the little dancers are having a positive & fun experience. read more

I have been thoroughly impressed with The Dance Center, and the doors haven't even officially opened yet! From the point of registration, to team audition and a fitting for apparel, Tia and Laura have been incredible to work with.
