We live 45 minutes away, went in at 8:30 Monday morning and was told by Bo they couldn't get it in until Wednesday. Wasted 2 hours of time between driving and waiting for this answer. After I left several messages around 1:30 or so, Josh said he told Junior to tell us to leave the vehicle and they'd get it done that day. That message didn't come across while at the shop. When they did get us in a few days later, they charged $140 with no apology or discount even after I asked for a discount. I did find out later the vehicle we bought was cheaper somewhere else. I should have done more research, but they also weren't willing to budge on the price or trade in value. Between that, the misinformation and not willing to make it right, we don't highly recommend them for purchase or for service.

Mr. Urness and his team runs a top notch dealership. Recently, I had a Jeep dealership in the…read morePortland area (to remain un-named) perform recall and TSBB work on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. A day later, the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) fault light illuminates on the dash on my drive up to the Dalles. I called up the Service Department, and a wonderful and cheerful service adviser, Ron, answers the phone. I asked to see if his team can scan the codes and see if there was anything urgent to address. He replied that it's the NW Cherry Festival in the Dalles that weekend, and it may be busy, but to come in and he will take a look. When I arrived, he put his tech on the Jeep right away, and quickly identified the root cause - the previous dealer did not clear the codes in the transmission after they performed the transmission reflash TSB. The technician cleared the codes, which also restored use of my cruise control quickly, and I was back on the road in no time. I know this is out of the ordinary, but the Urness Jeep team came through in a pinch, and delivered. They get an A+ in my book. Also, for all your off roaders and overlanders, Urness Motors is also an AEV dealer!

All have been good, but my recent experience has convinced me to write a review. Recently, Mike guided me towards a solution that was much better than my original solution. He spent the time to understand what I would be using my rig for, found a solution better than the solutions I was looking at, and customized it to specifically fit the purposes I was thinking of using it for. Took my car in for full check up and to fix a recall. I am still getting messages that I need to…read morefix my recalled part so I hope they really did that. I had tires rotated, etc and two days later my tire pressure light turned on. I got new windshield wipers and did not realize until trying to drive in the rain and being unable to see ( and purchasing a new set of blades from elsewhere) that they did not remove the blade protector. Little things like this make me wonder how close they paid attention when doing all the work. Nice people there, though.
