They have a large book selection to pick from including local authors and autographed copies of books. There is also a good selection of used and children's books in the back part of the store. I love the selection of gifts also, cards, jewelry, honey. I'm sure you could find something here for lots of people on your list! We had no place to go, so my husband ran in and asked the manager/owner if, given the circumstances, we could take shelter there until the emergency was over. We thought, given the types of folks who tend to run independent bookstores, that question would be a no-brainer. To our stunned amazement, he said no. "Nice" guy. Our everlasting thanks to the employee who ran out into the parking lot and helped us find our way to the local Tractor Supply Company, where we took shelter. We give this place 1 star - zero for the bookstore and its owner and five for the employee, because at least one person in that place has a truly kind heart.

As other Yelpers have stated, this store is packed with "inventory of every genre and subject", but just nothing for me. On a side note, I'm almost happy I didn't buy anything here today. As I looked through their books, I realized that their store was truly a treasure trove. They had a solid selection of different (including new and popular as well as unreleased) books. Although I bought just one book, I discovered new titles and authors that piqued my interest at the shop too! Additionally, the staff is very kind, attentive, and so friendly! After purchasing my book, I stayed in the shop to chat about life with one of the staff members for a bit which was lovely and she warmly encouraged me to come back again. There's always…read morelike 20 people working and every single person from the books to the kitchen staff is happy and cheerful and so kind. Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. This local owner know what we the patrons want, we want people who are happy with their jobs and that's done by great staffing. This is my go to for any gift. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.
