If you have ever come to watch the Cubs play at Wrigley Field, you have to at least once, come across the street to Cubby Bear right after. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a huge bar with a pretty big dance floor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We took a co-worker here after the game. With him being from out of town, we wanted him to experience all the fun and festivities that Wrigleyville offers after a Cubs game. I had not been to Cubby Bear in a long time and I forgot just how fun it was to be here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music is loud and the people are loud and everyone is having fun and dancing and drinking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My crew and I stood by the bar and had some shots and drinks, swayed to the music and people watched. Service at the bar was surprisingly quick despite the crowd. After a while we moved to a section that just had tables and chairs and tvs, which was in a different section away from the dance floor. Here you could order typical bar food and hear yourself talk. We opted to not order food during our visit and just got another round of drinks instead. Those tots and fries were calling my name but I was outvoted as the crew wanted to hop to another bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cubby Bear is a great place to people watch. Lots of tipsy baseball fans all over[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. You have to come experience it at least once!

An iconic Chicago Sports Bar located across from Wrigley Field . We went on a Sunday afternoon to watch our granddaughter perform with the School of Rock Glenbrook along with two other School of Rock show teams. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating available and the sound is fantastic but it can get loud at times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Typical bar food and drink are available by scanning their QR code.Parking is a challenge in the area. Established in 1953,the Cubby Bear is a must stop when in Wrigleyville.

The world famous Cubby Bear. It's a bigger-than-it-looks bar, caddy corner from the Wrigley Field marqee, that is the perfect place for Cubs fans to gather before, after and even during a baseball game. It's also the perfect place to gather during an off day or the offseason. The staff said the bar books djs and cover bands for late night and weekend entertainment. This is a high volume place. There's a nice beer selection, which includes local options. There's also a good selection of spirits if you're wanting to ride in the fast lane. It's fun - sometimes too much fun.

It's iconic. Legendary. One of the Sports Bars. You can't visit Wrigley Field without a pregame at Cubby Bear. We stood at the bar just inside the main entrance. It was busy on a Cards Cubs game day, but plenty of space and we were able to order quickly. The beers were reasonably priced and it was a great fun vibe. Bonus points to the bathroom attendant...I've never seen one so well stocked!

One of the most fun places I have ever been and certainly the most fun place to go after a Cub game!

The food comes out faster than a CTA bus not stopping for you, and it absolutely slaps. The wings are crispy enough to make a grown Chicagoan emotional, if you love great food and haven't stopped by, then you are missing out. Every TV has a game on, every beer is ice cold, and the vibes are aggressively Chicago -- loud, friendly, slightly unhinged, but in a "we're all in this together" way. You'll hear someone yelling at the refs, someone else arguing about the Cubs bullpen, and somehow it all feels like home. Output is the kind of place where you say "just one drink" and then suddenly it's three hours later, you've made five new friends, and you're ordering another round of wings because "it'd be rude not to." If you're near Wrigley and choose to eat somewhere else, that's on you. Output understood the assignment. My friends and I were pleasantly impressed by the service and the food especially the wings and waffle fries with the truffle aioli. Can't wait to go back.

For me, it's all about the sauces and the options are great and I can't wait to try more. All this said, I get it's a bar in Wrigley, but the front room is super small and the back room is definitely not nice; somewhere between dirty and just not-cared-for (chairs and tables wobbled, dirty floor, etc.) They do delivery, I'll probably just get wings delivered from Output going forward.

The location is great and easy to get to, which is one of the reasons we decided to stop in. The atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was very quiet that evening. Since it wasn't busy, we expected quick service and were looking forward to relaxing for a bit. Unfortunately, that's where our experience fell short. We were seated right away but then waited about 15 to 20 minutes without ever being greeted by a server. Multiple servers and bussers walked past our table several times, yet no one acknowledged us or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. It honestly felt like our table had been forgotten. Because we were never able to place an order, I can't comment on the food or drinks. We ended up leaving before anyone came to our table. The wait time itself wasn't the issue. We were seated immediately. The problem was waiting 15 to 20 minutes after being seated without receiving any service, especially at a nearly empty restaurant. As for value, it's hard to judge since we never had the opportunity to order anything. However, spending nearly 20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us made the experience feel like a waste of time. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere and location were great, but the lack of service completely overshadowed the rest of the experience. I hope this was just an off night, but based on this visit, I can't recommend it.
