Carlann went above and beyond to make sure I, my family, and my bridal party were well taken care of; she even investigated what had happened to a family member's flight when we hadn't heard from them. We also met with Jen who has a wonderful personality coupled with high expertise. Briana and Ozzie from Lorenzo's were so kind and patient during our rehearsal dinner that ran late. Michael, our maitre'd made sure our reception ran like clockwork. Jackie was the MOST amazing bridal attendant; anything I needed she anticipated and had ready quickly. I definitely recommend holding an event at Nicotra's ballroom or Above! The package is competitively priced and you will certainly have an amazing experience.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Lorenzo's, our cocktail hour in the Trevi Garden, and reception in the Persimmon Room. We had attended a wedding at Nictora's a few years before planning ours, and we were so impressed that it made our venue search very easy. I'm happy to say that the team consistently delivers on great food, service, and atmosphere. Our guests are still talking about the food being some of the best they've had at a wedding, also complimenting the uniqueness of the venue. Jennifer Finch, our planner, kept everything organized and running smoothly - she was extremely willing to work with us on little details, provided helpful and insightful answers to questions, and kept us feeling calm on the day of the wedding. While Nicotra's provides the full package, there was enough customization available that things really felt ours. She's a natural. Our bridal attendant, another Jennifer, also went above and beyond - she was friendly, helpful, professional, and made sure we were FED and comfortable at all times. Our Maitre'd Matt was also amazing! Took time to ensure everything was to our liking, was very helpful and kind to guests, and was overall adaptable. The entire FOH staff was excellent, honestly - they made our celebration so much more special. To cap it all off, the Nicotras themselves stopped by to say hello to us and check in on guests - what a personal touch! Something that you often miss out on with a ballroom wedding are beautiful grounds - not the case here. We had many tons of options for beautiful couples portraits moments, and the floor to ceiling windows provided another great bit of atmosphere during the reception. We closed our reception with the Viennese Hour - if it's in your budget, do NOT skip this. It was an absolutely incredible and massive display that blew guests away. And having an extra hour to party is awesome! I cannot compliment this venue enough!

We planned our wedding from out of state, and this proved to be be a non issue for the staff as they easily set up phone call and zoom sessions with us and our coordinator. We felt the pricing and expectations for what was available and offered to us clear and well explained. This is an amazing space that is essentially a beautiful blank canvas, meaning you can do as much or as little as you wish here. Our day of coordinator helped us secure many vendors to fulfill all the duties of the space, almost all who had worked events here before and had nothing but good things to say. When the day of arrived, we were given free reign of the space and politely checked in with every few hours to see if we needed anything on their end. When the wedding kicked into full gear we had a small unexpected hiccup (outside their control), which they promptly worked to fix and followed up with us after the wedding. I really felt they did an amazing job with customer service and providing a clean, open space to make our dreams a reality. We brought in two food trucks, and two drop off catering to which the space lended well. The house bar staff was great and the whole day truly was a dream. TLDR; This is an amazing space, that really lets you fulfill all of your DIY dreams. It's beautiful enough on its own, but lends well to any additions you want to bring in. The house staff was great and we would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Masterpiece provided us a good variety of bagels and muffins to start off our day. The food was all fresh tasting, plus we had plenty of options! They served sandwiches and wraps along with bagged chips and cookies, and it was delicious! This catering style options worked really well for our group setting. The sandwiches were fresh, the portions were good, and the cookies were definitely soft and scrumptious! My favorite options was the roast beef wrap! The organization of the setup was quick, efficient, and it was ready to go when we needed it. Since we were planning multiple back to back meetings throughout the day this was huge help! This is the fourth major reception that we have hosted and by far the banquet staff was the best we have encountered. Honest, east to work with, and transparent are three phrases that describe them. Food--plentiful, perfectly cooked and well presented. Servers--professional and willing to accommodate all requests. We received many compliments from our guests about the venue. The other two vendors that we hired (photographer and DJ) both said this was one of the best venues they have seen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you consider this facility for your next affairQ

Do not be put off by the outside area which looks very run of the mill Holiday Inn. The ballroom is very nice, the cocktail hour is held at a very spacious area and more importantly for us....they dancefloor is ginormous! Unless you come here for a wedding, I don't think you get the scope of how beautiful the ballroom can turn out. Tara and her team did so much to help us with price, decor and lighting which made the place really come alive. Cocktail Hour: We did a Jersey Shore table during cocktail hour which everyone raved (especially the kids). The servers were excellent, kept coming by with trays of food and very attentive to guests needs. MOST IMPORTANTLY the maitre'd was PHENOMENAL!! He greeted me as soon as I stepped foot on the premises and literally ran around helping me fix a dress issue I had, got me a cocktail to relax and had another server bring me food so I wouldn't pass out. Food: The food is was all so delicious! We picked the baked chicken and the crab stuffed fish and people all loved it. We added dessert trays at the end were filled with these ginormous chocolate covered strawberries and endless crispy pastries, at first I thought I wouldn't need it, but our cake turned out to not be that good, so it really helped. Decor: They can include everything from centerpieces, table numbers, tea lights an envelope cage AND YOUR WEDDING CAKE as part of your package. As a bride that wanted to spend a month-long honeymoon in Europe INSTEAD of centerpieces, this was a huge selling point. Service: I can not say enough about the amazing service I received from the Windsor Ballroom. I have a very demanding job and kept forgetting about due dates for deposits, guests counts and basically everything important....and they were all so patient with me, accommodating to my schedule and really always taking that extra step to make sure I felt at ease. I have never experienced such exceptional customer service from a place. Granted, I have never been married before, but I have heard horror stories, and to be quite honest, I assumed because this is not a super expensive place I was going to get just mediocre service. Hotel accommodations: My husband family was coming from Philadelphia and mine was coming from North Jersey so this was literally the best midpoint. On top of that, it was phenomenal knowing that everyone could enjoy the open bar and safely just walk to their room. We were given a Luxury suite for free for our wedding night and had a discounted price for our guests to stay. As we walked in they had a bottle of champagne, 2 slices of wedding cake, chocolate covered strawberries and a cookie shaped like a wedding cake that said congratulations Mr & Mrs Arellano. It really was such a sweet and personalized touch. Breakfast: The couple enjoys brunch for free the next day ($15 pp), this was a nice touch, we had another mini reception in the morning with everyone walking in tending to their hangover together. The food was excellent and it is also held in the Irish Pub right on the premises, so no need to check out early. I have been raving about this place to all my friends and plan on booking many future events here as well. THANK YOU Windsor ballroom for such an amazingggg wedding experience.

My initial meeting to the end of the party with Valentina (host) and Victor (DJ) was wonderful. Both were easy going and did their best to accommodate my event and requests. I have ONE disappointing factor, we were notified of the food service being open at 2:30 PM instead of 2:00 PM as we initially agreed upon. Food closed one hour later (3:30 PM) after opening despite being told we would have 1.5 hours of food for our guests. I would have wanted the staff to be more proactive by notifying us sooner or extending our meal time to 4:00 PM to honor our contract (especially since some of our guests were unable to participate in having a meal). Overall, a good experience and I would recommend.

It dates all the back to the 1800s, where it was the home to a number of industrial companies specializing in everything from water pipes to cement. The fact it's adjacent to the Gowanus Canal's waterway made it an attractive spot for businesses. After being the home of a brass foundry for nearly 60 years, it had undergone an extensive renovation in 2008 to become a special events venue that many know and love today. They managed to do all of this while still maintaining its iconic green exterior. Between then and now, it was a destination for Brooklyn weddings, corporate outings, and lots of fun special events. Plus the venue staff that worked did a good job in making sure every gathering was a success.
