She was already in with a client, so I slid the card hanging on the service room door under the door as advised and sat down. My appointment was at 12:30pm and she was a little late getting to me, but the person before me hadn't been in 6 months so my impatience quickly turned to compassion because GOOD LORD. 6 months?!! Anyway, Geni was fast, friendly, warm and very inviting. She got through my wax in less than 30 minutes and I was a little past overdue. You know how a good masseuse just gets the right spots and you're like, "whoa, I didn't know I was tight there", or, "wow, I didn't know that I needed that!"? Yeah, we didn't get that feeling with our masseuses. Also, why were both of our massages the same when I paid for a deep tissue massage? While our 90 minute massages were mostly relaxing, they were not what we were hoping for. I get deep tissue massages at least once a month, and what I got was a mixed bag of Swedish, hot stone, and Thai (where she stepped on me and did some stretches). My masseuse didn't even ask me what I was looking for at the beginning of the massage. She simply told me to get undressed and lie face down on the table. I had to tell her as she came back into the room what I wanted work on. Anyway, it's okay, but given that there are other options in the area, I would try another spot if I were looking for a massage.
