Waxing isn't a pleasant experience, but between the comfort wax EWC uses and the expertise of the specialist, there was minimal discomfort. The room itself was clean and sanitized. I've been to other wax centers and salons, and this was by far the best! Since this was my first time going to EWC, I was able to take advantage of their first-time customer promotion. It seems that they run other promotions frequently and have a decent point system. Before I checked out, the receptionist gave me a ton of samples and some information on packages without pressuring me to buy anything.

She was already in with a client, so I slid the card hanging on the service room door under the door as advised and sat down. My appointment was at 12:30pm and she was a little late getting to me, but the person before me hadn't been in 6 months so my impatience quickly turned to compassion because GOOD LORD. 6 months?!! Anyway, Geni was fast, friendly, warm and very inviting. She got through my wax in less than 30 minutes and I was a little past overdue.
