Not a bar that I would frequent all that often, but definitely worth a look. I was once in here for an afternoon of Six Nations Rugby and it was amazing craic. It used to be nicknamed the 'Crow Bar' because someone allegedly tore the 'N' off the sign in a bar fight but that may just be an urban myth.
It also has an original coal fire and its walls are covered with black and white photographs of old Bangor and its environs. It can be booked for private parties and leads onto the Beer Garden, where you can eat and drink al fresco. And in the cool of the evening, enjoy your favourite tipple in the warmth of the patio heaters.
A really nice wee pub in Bangor that should maybe be a little bit more popular than it is. read more
