The food was delicious. The service was excellent and the ambiance was great. Overall for an ice cream place that serves hotdogs and hamburgers too it's a great place. read more

Oh man what a horrible experience I had here. After years of living in Florida I finally decided to travel back to the town of my youth and a place where I used to get the sweetest of treats. Well the nostalgia of my youth was split asunder. In my time away the replaced the workers with callous youth. I went in and wanted strawberry ice cream a simple request. The kid with the worst hair cut since the 6 7 boy meme came to me with an open gen z mouth stair. I asked do you have strawberry? He just said "huh?" In a sardonic uninterested voice. "Strawberry!" I said. Oh were out of hard ice cream bro so I ordered a root beer float instead. And let me tell you that root beer float while good gave me the most horrible bout of gas. Anyway this uninterested worker he really needs to learn to enjoy life more. It is an ice cream shop for Pete's sake. read more

Oh brother. This is a $4+ small dolewhip. Picture worth 1000 words. Also they made blaster with vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate for someone else in my order. Details matter. With Andy's opening up soon by the Meijer in Mokena, there will be other choices I suppose. read more

The Creamery - Dole whip small in a cup - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Mokena, Illinois

Why did the Creamery change up the Hot Dog used in mix? Hot Dog is now smaller rendering too much bun. In addition, the bun quality is now dry and breaks apart. read more

First time getting Ice Cream here yesterday. Which Is like Andy's Frozen Custard, where you have the option of ordering their ice cream at one window, and pick up at another, and so many ice cream options. I got the death by chocolate, don't worry I am not dead, otherwise it is strange to think of a ghost writing this review. I have included a photo of their menu. read more

The Creamery - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Mokena, Illinois

I was visiting the Mokena Creamery 6/11/25 and ordered a strawberry sundae with whipped cream nut..which no designation was given..I'd expected pecans as with every other time I'd ordered. Received an overabundance of peanuts a half scoop of ice-cream and Carmel for days. Having designated a small amount. I literally threw the sundae away barely eaten. The young man that made it surely didn't represent your establishment well by his lackluster preparation of my 7.00 sundae. It should be noted i can buy a half gallon of ice cream at the near by Betkots for 7.00. Please note I talk about service to all I meet I will bring this to mind each time I talk about ice cream experiences..words do have power. read more

I go to the creamery pretty often and all my experiences have been really good expect for today. When I got my ice cream it was very poorly done. First of all I got blasters and the add ins weren't mixed in at all. Secondly I asked for them to put lids on it and they didn't even try to put them on correctly, the ice cream was overflowing on the cup and they just put a lid on the overflowing cup which caused it to spill everywhere when I was driving home. The kids who work here don't seem to care that much and because of this I probably won't be going here as often and will go to a different place read more

The Creamery - two cups of ice cream on a tray - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Mokena, Illinois

i ordered a mint shake and got a mint shake. This place is a disgrace i do not recommend these incoherent workers.

Remains the highlight of my route. I've been watching how much I have been spending and eating recently, so I don't make it as much as I would like, but when I can they always knock it out of the park. Every bite filled with flavor. Every bite having a little cookie dough. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any possible question. They are quick too. I don't think I have ever waited more than 2 min to get my order. Quality is as good as the first time I came here years ago. Always a reliable ice cream place where you know you'll be satisfied every time. read more

Well the next time I came there customer service was horrible. So now they get two stars and-can relate to other peoples comments. I guess its time to just get my own supplies and make my own brownie fudge ice cream treats. Never again will I try waste my money on crappy service there again. Good luck. Officially it looks like all ice cream places in Mokena are crappy. read more

the ice cream is good and the food is too but the service is ok. i ordered ice cream with my friends and they messed all of our orders up. i wanted a chocolate ice cream MEDIUM in a CONE and they gave me a small in a cup. my friends ordered a small blaster with brownie and oreo and they put cookie dough in it and the other one was only cookie dough and brownie and she got cookie dough brownie and oreo in hers. someone else got a large cotton candy with no whip cream and he got a small with whip cream. and we got a caramel sundae with peanuts and whip cream and he didn't get any peanuts. this place used to be good but now they're messing up orders. read more

Disgustingly NOT sanitary! One hand gloved, one not, and the worker used the same bare hand that had handled my cash and change to pick pieces of Snickers topping off the counter and toss them into the bowl. Used his bare hand with the peeled fresh apple pieces, also. Sorry - that is NOT good practice with people's food - esp in a pandemic! There was no way I was going to eat that apple bowl, and so I left, despite having paid for it. read more

We used to love this place for years and now we hate it and will never return. All of the items are low quality and they are cheap with the toppings. They eliminated weenie Wednesday and now charge $4+ for hot dogs. The kids that work there act like they are miserable to customers. read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. I ask them to make a Oreo blaster peanut free and they said they can not wipe down the machine do to the new policy. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

So so so good. I go there year round (thank God the Mokena location is open all year), and often eat a dipped cone for dinner when I'm in town visiting my family. Drive through is fast and efficient even in the summer. A lot of people seemed annoyed by the prices, but they seem fine to me. Maybe I've been living in Los Angeles too long. Covid precautions taken about 90% of the time. A couple times the same employee handling my money also handed me my change and my cone. Kind of gross whether we're living through Covid or not. I just don't eat the cone and tell them to keep the change when that happens. read more

The if e cream is okay and the frozen yogurt is decent. The hot fudge is very good but overall, the prices are too high for what you get. It is a nice family place, especially in the summer due to the outdoor seating. read more

The Creamery - The creamery - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Mokena, Illinois

Nice ice cream place and one of a number throughout the area. This one has adequate service and quickly satisfies your need for a sweet. The soft serve is pretty much like everyone elses but there are two nice specialty treats. First is the turtle sundae - topped with lots of fresh nuts ... second is the rainbow cone/cup. Rainbow ice cream on the southside of Chicago was pioneered down on 92nd and Western on the edge of the city. It is now sold through Creamery stores also ... try it and you'll see the attraction. Five luscious layers of real ice cream - not soft serve - every one a winner. read more

as I was eating my ice cream ( which was petty good) I found something string. upon further inspect I noticed it was a hair that appeared to be a bit of black and blonde. after finding this I was disgusted I went up to the counter to ask for either a new ice cream or a refund I was told no and that I would be receiving neither of the two. I would not recommed. read more

I've only been here a few times, but I've enjoyed it every time. It's only a little more expensive than DQ since the treats I order here are about $3.50 versus $3 at DQ. I've only tried two things here: the mint boston shake, and the Original Rainbow Cone. The mint shake is delicious, and I love this place because they serve it all the time - not like McDonald's one month crap. But what I really love here is the Original Rainbow Cone! It's four different ice creams and one sherbert layered on top of a cone. I was intrigued by the cone, but thought that the flavors might not be that great together (chocolate, strawberry with stawberry pieces, "Palmer House" - venetian vanilla with walnuts and cherries, pistachio with real pistachios, and orange sherbert). It tasted great and the flavors really worked together! The Creamery was someplace that I went occasionally, but now I want to go back even more for that cone! read more

Good place to stop and grab some ice cream. This place does get crowded and parking can be challenging but hey sometimes you just need ice cream. Stopped and had a banana split and it was good. I prefer a soft serve cone but had a coupon. Worth stopping by if your around. read more

They have great soft serve. Not as good as DQ. But the atmosphere is what it's all about. This place is always packed. The whole town can be seen here every night of the week. It doesn't even have to be hot out. Quick service. read more

Just have to say their new edible cookie dough is out of this world! I'm a huge fan of cookie dough and many establishments try to get in on the craze with their version of it, but most fail, various cookie dough concoctions taste cheap and mass manufactured. "The Creamery" in Mokena is phenomenal. It literally tastes just like out of the baking bowl. How do they do that??!! Alone or with vanilla soft serve.......an incredible treat! Cookies and milk!! read more

Pricier than DQ and maybe a little less tasty? I don't know, but that seems a bit failtastic for my tastes. Service was fine, atmosphere was fine, but if we're looking at the straight up goods, I suggest passing and heading elsewhere. If you want to blow some serious money on ice cream, there's always Oberweiss. read more

The selection is more than adequate and everything is delicious! One thing they do need is a kids size banana split, it's easy, you've got knives, cut the banana in half! There is plenty of seating on the patio, though dragging the kids across the drive-thru, in front of cars can be a challenge (odd layout). The ginormous cow really sets it off, without that, it would get a 4! read more

I used to love this location. They changed their ice cream recently and it has no flavor. The new ice cream isn't on par with a place that's sole purpose is selling ice cream. It tastes like ice cream you'd get at a fast food place that sells ice cream as an afterthou read more

Been going to the Creamery for years. Love ice cream, and they know how to do it best.

I am only giving one star because they do not have a ZERO Star option Having loved Rainbow cones for decades, I was served a $4+ small rainbow cone last Saturday 2/27/16....it came to me as a pile of mush and dripping before it came out the drive-thru window ! In addition, there was a small amount of the ice cream on it as well. Quantity/quality-pricing did not match at all! Fix your freezers and then teach your staff how to make the cone the way it is intended to be made. I may gladly make the trip to Chicago to get a "REAL" "Rainbow Cone" made properly. I am not a happy customer. read more
