Wow! Wow! Wow! Found this place en route to Shreveport and what a find! We started with Crawfish queso that was amazing, but the star of the show is the boiled Royal Reds! Another great meal at the Crawfish Hole with great service. We have had crawfish and poboys here before, even BBQ but had not tried what we ordered this time. The boiled shrimp were actually royal reds which was a real treat to have outside of Florida. They peeled easily and seasoning was good. Everything else was perfectly spiced and fresh hot. The drinks are also good and they had a big selection of canned beverages including seltzers. Their require selection is also robust. Great little hole in the wall. read more

We randomly stopped in in the way back to Texas while driving from New Orleans and what a hidden gem! Crawfish, fried fish, boudin egg rolls, garlic bread, EVERYTHING was awesome! Stopped at this roadside joint on the way home and it was the best decision ever! Super friendly staff that makes you feel right at home! The semi outdoor seating was perfect for the sunny day! We were the only customers at 2:00 in the afternoon. The food was really good. We had the shrimp poboy and catfish and crawfish. Our kids had the burger and chicken strips. They have a diverse menu so don't be afraid to stop as a family. The food was all scratch made. Our server was polite and on top of our drinks. My family and I had a mishap at another restaurant with reservations and my daughter suggested we try this place. Being an outdoor restaurant, I was very skeptical. We got there, we were greeted well, the music was good and the food was great! From the crawfish queso, to the boudin egg rolls, the gumbo and the swamp pop shrimp for appetizers; it was great! There was not one complaint! The wait staff did an excellent job accommodating our large dinner party at the last minute! The bbq chicken was very good! The steak, OMG! So tender and juicy! The boiled crawfish are well seasoned and the service is usually good. It can get packed during crawfish season so plan accordingly. All seating is outside and is comfortable as long as it's not too hot outside. The young lady that waited on us last time was super friendly and very attentive to our needs.
