Hubby got a dozen sampler plate for $40 before tax and tip. The couple running the Shack were very friendly and chatty, and they made us feel so welcome. This is a strictly outdoor restaurant, so we grabbed a picnic table along the water. The oysters looked nice and fresh, and they smelled of the sea. Nothing was "off" about them at all. They were served with the traditional mignonette sauces that were very good. I didn't eat any oysters, so I didn't get sick. But my hubby sure did, and within a couple of hours of eating here. I don't really think I can recommend this place but then again, it was his choice to consume raw shellfish. Just be careful and be aware in case you get a bad batch.
