Was referred to Tony's business and was set up with Cole for an assessment meeting. He went over what they offer and if they might be a good fit for me and my business. Cole was easy going, understanding, but most importantly didn't pressure me into signing up by any means which was big for me. Give these guys a shot or at least some time to ask some questions see if they're a good fit, high recommend! read more

I have no doubt these bros know their stuff, but they definitely don't want to talk to you using breath and vocal cords. That's what AI is for-- and they employ it liberally. I made the mistake of requesting an appointment. Here's what happens next: Lots of robo-texts and emails. I responded to one and booked an appointment 2 weeks out. I prepped for it. I told my students that I couldn't stick around after class to help them because I had an important call scheduled. I confirmed (by auto text) the appt. again yesterday (it was scheduled for today). But... They flaked about 15 minutes before the scheduled time, then 5 min later I got a friendly text reminder not to miss the appointment, which was a nice touch. I had to laugh at that, at least. The Dude's time is far more valuable than yours. You will find out minutes before your "scheduled" appt when Siri drops you a line. read more

I'm here to vouch for Tony's honesty & integrity. After a 20-30 minute conversation Tony actually recommended that because of the simplicity of my partner and I's tax situation, that he would be happy to help us but we likely would not need his services. That type of honesty is hard to find today. If you do decide to work with the CPA Dude, rest assured it will be a benefit to you. read more

I'm not sure why I didn't get The CPA Dude onboard sooner! Tony and his team simplify the tax preparation process and make it easy for you to understand not only what is being filed this year but how to strategize for the next. I found Tony through an initial consultation and he is very knowledgeable! I've been doing self employed work on top of a W-2 for the past few years and Tony's service really is the best to organize your tax return and avoid those costly penalties. I highly recommend The CPA Dude! read more

Tony came recommended to me by a close friend as I was looking for someone to help me with my taxes for the first time in my life. Having recently received equity from a company that went public this year, there seemed to be an overwhelming amount of complexity that warranted a professional (goodbye TurboTax) and my experience working with Tony was nothing short of fantastic. After a friendly, 30 minute intro meeting with Tony, he discussed my wife's and my situation and sent us a questionnaire to fill out. My wife and I were filing jointly for the first time, she had an investment account, I had recently vested equity, other previous investments, and a few other factors to discuss. We initially thought we were going to owe money this year, and Tony thought that was possible as well but would investigate further. We uploaded all our documents, answered a couple simple follow ups, and a few days later, Tony sent us our documents to review and an easy to understand summary. Not only was everything we discussed account for, but we actually ended up receiving a refund! We were shocked and elated. We had a few follow up questions, which Tony responded to and updated quickly, and as of a few days ago our taxes have been filed and accepted. Can't recommend Tony and The CPA Dudes enough. We're absolutely continuing our relationship with them and keeping them in mind for any other tax questions we have in the future. read more

We went to Tony after checking in with multiple tax preparer options and Tony was by the most responsive, helpful and proactive CPAs out there. Everything was digital and we loved using the Volley system to get async comms down. Get on his roster for next year now!!! read more

Tony is amazing! He's super responsive, very knowledgeable, and really great at explaining confusing tax concepts. During our initial videocall consultation and throughout our subsequent emails / messages, he was kind, friendly, and never judgmental. Tax and money is generally a very personal topic, but we always felt comfortable discussing it with Tony. Once we submitted all our documents, he was lightning fast with preparing the return. My partner and I were really nervous about getting a CPA for the first time, but we're so glad we chose Tony. I didn't have to cry about taxes this year, and I'm so grateful for all the hours he saved us! Highly recommend. read more

I highly recommend The CPA Dude for anyone who is interested in having a CPA file their annual taxes. This is the first year I have hired a CPA and I will continue to do business with The CPA Dude for the foreseeable future. What stressed me out the most this year was filing my taxes with my cryptocurrency investments. It was already stressful for me to file my regular taxes previously; I knew that I wouldn't be able to navigate the crypto taxes myself. A close friend recommended The CPA Dude and I took their word, and it worked out greatly. My taxes were filed on time and approved the first time which makes me feel very relieved now. read more

I started a small ceramic business last year and needed help with filing taxes.  I was looking for someone who would be able to answer all my questions and understand what I was going through as a small business owner. I got in contact with Tony -The CPA Dude through a mutual friend and couldn't be happier with the service and help.   If/when I had questions regarding anything I didn't fully understand and or know, Tony was right there to help answer and guide me through the process. I would either text him and or communicate with him through his own digital platform he has set up for each of his clients.  I highly recommend Tony who can help guide you through all the necessary steps when starting any business! read more

I've always had a CPA to do my taxes and advise on how to best position my business. My tax situation typically involves both W-2 and revenue through my LLC. Every year has been a nightmare. Taxes calculated incorrectly, income that I provided unaccounted for, deductions I qualified for not being leveraged, missed deadlines because the CPA forgot to send things, the list goes on. I've been hit with penalty after penalty and it was truly never ending. Thankfully I switched to The CPA Dude. Working with Tony has been the smoothest and most organized process ever. All the files we exchange are neatly organized in their platform, as are our messages, and the communication has always been clear and prompt. I'm even getting money back this year, which hasn't happened in years and I'm operating my business in 2022 with a lot more confidence since I'm more confident in my numbers. read more

I'm a repeat customer. Tony helped us again with our taxes this year and was incredible as usual!

Tony and his team provided me with a great tax filing experience. I started my first retailing business in 2020 and had zero idea of how to file my taxes. I contacted Tony and was immediately scheduled to meet with him over Google Meets for a free consultation. Tony answered all the tax questions I had prepared and is very knowledgable/confident in his work. Their communication system is also great! Both the CPA Dude team and the clients use one website to communicate through chat and to pass documents back and forth. It's very efficient and I love how all my tax documents and correspondence are easily found on their one centralized website. Tony is extremely (!!) quick to respond to any messages I sent to him. There's really no lag when it comes to their work. Overall incredible experience, incredible people, and very fair prices for the services! 100% recommend. Thanks CPA Dude! read more

Tony is patient, knowledgeable, and responsive! Thanks so much for the tax planning and tax filing!

I found CPA dude via yelp. Normally we get our taxes done by my father in law. I realized that our financial info should be kept private and that's when I sought out someone to help with our upcoming filing. Tony was great and super responsive! Although I never met him in person, we did do a zoom call which helped ease my anxiety about giving all my personal info to someone in a portal who I have never met. He was easy to work with along with his colleague Rachel who was just as responsive. Any question I had, even if it wasn't related to our tax return, but general questions regarding finances, he answered promptly. Everything was seamless and organized. I don't know how I didn't find them sooner, but I'm glad I did as I will be a repeat customer!! Thanks Tony and Team!! read more

I was referred here and scheduled a consultation for more information, however, I waited for over half an hour for a call which I did not receive nor receive any notifications of the delay. I reached out a few times during the wait but was asked to continue to wait. read more

This was my 2nd year using the CPA Dude. Overall, I had another great experience! I noticed that the turnaround time was a little bit longer than my 1st go around but it didn't really make a difference to me - my taxes still got filed prior to tax day! :) I always appreciate the quick and prompt response time when I do have questions! It's so much easier having someone else file and submit taxes on your behalf, especially when it is a trusted partner! read more

This was my first time working with Tony. He worked on my 2020 taxes and I was more than happy with his service. He was very patient, communicative, and informative.
