Tony assisted me with tax questions that I had regarding working in multiple states and receiving different tax forms like the W2 and a 1099. He informed me that there is a tax credit paid to other states, so I would not be taxed in multiple states, and this helped me save a ton of money! Tony is a laid back guy who is able to digest tax into something simple to understand, and he's incredibly responsive and easy to work with. I can't recommend him enough! read more

I initially needed an accountant to help me navigate through tax season, and intentionally sought someone who wasn't just a ledger jockey or silently judgmental in their demeanor (baggage from previously using my parents' accountant for years!) The CPA Dude was established in 2010 and built with the core of saving tax for individuals and small business owners. We wanted to help those who work extremely hard for their paychecks and to help educate them on how to minimize their taxes and plan for the future. We have grown since then but still stay true to our core. Real estate, stocks, equity, cannabis, book keeping have all been added along the way. We don't ever settle and stay on top of all laws to help translate that to our clients.

Hi Yelp! I am a CPA who originally started by helping family and friends navigate through taxes and help them save on taxes. My passion is to help small businesses and individuals save on their taxes as they are the ones who are working extremely hard and usually don't have time to read through the tax code. I am a total tax, accounting, and bookkeeping nerd. I'm in the news everyday staying current on the new tax changes and translating that into simple terms for y'all. Outside of accounting, I am super into fitness and love every aspect of health.

While not all of the allegations Mr. ******* made in his complaint are true, I did assist my client in collecting amounts owed by Mr. *******. I was not aware that by assisting my client in collecting her outstanding invoices, I was violating Minnesota law. Had I known what I was doing was against the law I would not have assisted my client in this way. Upon realizing that our 2020 taxes were far too complex to handle alone, I reached out to several CPAs. Tony called me within 20 minutes, while none of the rest called me at all. He researched to make sure he was getting all the deductions he could for a fairly unusual business situation (I'm an author and receive royalties and profit share, as well as wages), called me to make sure I paid quarterly taxes to avoid a fine, and educated me on moves to take next year in order to make sure I was able to write off everything I should be writing off.
