So there are a couple of reviews on here that are not too favorable. Have to say that when I read…read morethe reviews in their entirety, I understood why they're negative: the authors didn't do their due diligence before investing. First, Sandvold doesn't "lose your money." They invest your money based on their best info about market trends. They don't invest anywhere without your permission. Meaning they'll explain market trends, answer questions, make recommendations, but will do nothing unless you approve. If you have less than a set amount invested, there are fees involved; above that amount it's considered "no-load" and you don't pay a fee to invest or trade. If the investment loses money, it's because the market did something unexpected, not because "Sandvold lost money." Sandvold doesn't make money off your loss. He makes money when you do, and he collects a percentage of your return. Please note: a percentage of your *return*, not your principal. This is an important point: they make money only when you do, so they have a vested interest in making sure you make money. I have never had any problem receiving return calls from them. They've been very responsive when I needed to take a distribution for a real estate investment. They worked with me to wire funds rather than mail them to make sure I received them in a timely manner. They meet with me quarterly to review my investments (even those I have invested elsewhere [employer retirement funds]), making recommendations based on analysis of trends and projections. If I fail to call to arrange a quarterly meeting, they call me. I am not charged anything for the meetings, nor for the trades or investments. I've recommended Sandvold to my siblings to invest money earned from the sale of Mom's estate. Both my siblings are out of state; no matter. As another reviewer here mentioned, state lines are irrelevant. They're a phone call away. So: Why did I rate them four stars instead of five? I haven't made money as fast as I wanted. I was an idiot earlier in life and didn't plan for retirement. Now retirement is staring me in the face and I'm woefully unprepared. Sandvold can't fix my decades-old mistake, but they'll work with me to mitigate it as much as possible. I want to make larger returns, but that requires larger risk and based on my "pucker factor" (i.e., my "risk questionnaire"), they're suggesting lower-risk investments. It's my own damned fault that I don't have as much in my retirement funds as I probably should, but they're earning me money nonetheless. It's a respectable firm. And I recommend them.

A few years ago I had a discussion on financial planning with one of my neighbors (who had moved…read morefrom the Twin Cities area to Utah where we live). He told me about the high rate of return and personalized service he was receiving from Sandvold Financial Group. He and his wife choose to move here after they retired. What impressed me was their passion for the CEO Terry Sandvold and what his team was doing for them with their investments so that they could enjoy their retirement without money worries. I had previously met with a couple of other local financial advisors, but after doing so I felt they were more interested in making money from those who invested with them, rather than making money for those who invested. Additionally, these financial advisors represented only a few funds without having access broadly to many options in the marketplace. Eventually, I reached out by phone to Terry. He and his team were knowledgeable and first sought to understand me, where I was in my life, my goals and what I wanted to achieve. After several interactions and careful review of information on their website coupled with review of the detailed information that they sent us, we started cautiously by entrusting a portion of my retirement funds to them. In time I moved more of my retirement funds, as they earned our business. Ultimately, I rolled over all of my retirement funds to them for investing. The results have continued extremely positive. Further, their service has continued as they promised it would. My wife and I are very pleased with both the returns and personalized interest everyone continues to take in us. Incredibly, we realize now that they under promise and over deliver. Once a quarter Terry personally reviews our investments with us and provides advice and direction for our consideration. He has our portfolio well balanced. The research demonstrated both during those personal discussions, as well as periodic interactions with his team have heightened our confidence in Sandvold Financial Group. After the close of each day in the market, their website allows me to check on our investments. If anything, in the beginning Sandvold Financial Group was too modest in both their diverse access to funds and all that they do for customers. I eventually learned how active they are in their community, even contributing with a weekly radio show "Money Talks". I encourage you to do what we did. Namely, check out their website: www.sandvoldfinancialgroup.com and compare their team and expertise with what you are currently doing. Then reach out to them and personally compare their available investment options and expertise. Even the national insurance company I was working for did not have near the access and flexibility in investment options, nor the personalized investment advice, nor the high rates of returns that I have enjoyed and continue to experience. Retirement can last a long time. We are grateful to work with Terry and his professional team. It is nice to enjoy retirement knowing that our money investment matters are in capable hands. Evan B.

Per Eric, he didn't close Gray CPA but added a new company Real Estate Accounting Experts. We worked with Gray CPA on our TY 2023 returns. Our contract for our TY 2024 returns was with Real Estate Accounting Experts. For the record, we had the exact same horrible experiences with both. We have several LLCs, family trusts and three personal tax returns. We were referred to him using Dave Ramsay's Preferred Provider Network (who has since dropped them from their referral network). To keep this short, they missed most of the IRS and other taxing authorities deadlines, told us they filled them but when we repeatedly asked for copies, discovered they had not been filled. We provided them with all documentation per their contract by their deadline so there was no excuse on their end. They stopped returning voicemails. They stopped responding to emails. They simply disappeared. We ended up driving to their office in Plymouth MN only to speak with the ONE person left in the office (empty desks/offices everywhere you looked). She said she'd just been given her termination notice and wasn't sure what was going on. He really left us with a mess. I noticed some reviews refer to him and Evolution Accounting? Bottomline, we would never work with Eric Gray again regardless of whatever company name he uses.

I would pay it off and then get right back into bad financial habits, which I brought with me into my marriage. I finally fit rock bottom and knew things were out of control, so I called Kaitlyn. We started working together in fall 2018 and within the first two months she had taught me how to make, use, and stick with a budget. She helped me trim the fat and talked me through a lot of healthy changes. After that, we started working at debt. By the time we had been working together for 5 months, a huge chunk of my debt was gone, and I am on pace to be consumer debt free by the end of the summer - less than a year after we started working together. I cannot recommend Kaitlyn enough. She has been a godsend to my family.
