Went here with my wife yesterday. It wasn't very busy. Had 2 people sitting at the bar so we sat down to grab drink, chill and check the place out for the first time. The bartender never acknowledged our existence and served 2 other people that walked up to the bar for a drink while we sat there right in front of her for several minutes. Then a second bartender arrives after about 5-6 minutes and starts doing the same thing! After watching 3 people get served that walked in AFTER us we decided to leave and give our money to someone else with better customer service. The cost of food here also made me lose my appetite while I waited for no service. ( 6 piece chicken tenders for $19.99) Those are DisneyWorld prices. Won't be back. read more

The food at The Courthouse was great when it first opened. They have made changes to the menu, and it's just not the same now! I ordered Chicken Tenders and they were tough and pliable. :( The macaroni in the Mac and cheese was not fully cooked.) The Ranch dressing is now horrible! Bar food just about sums it up. I have to admit that it is a nice place for pickle ball, but their food and drinks is just meh. Out of the BBQ, garlic Parmesan, and lemon pepper wings the lemon pepper were definitely the best! The dip for the cheese was a bit bland. I tried the Selena Quintanilla mocktail however it just didn't deliver. It is a great place for groups and get togethers, however don't expect the best quality food. I suppose it is good for the environment, however I would go back for a fun time with friends. read more

Alright, so finally updating after our great trip to Courthouse. We went for a corporate, team building deal. Their staff was very accommodating and even lowered the volume on the outdoor speakers when we did our spiel announcing the winners of the pickleball tourney. The foot was on point for the picnic style, grab and go between sets. We had Tennessee Hot Chicken style sandwiches, chicken tenders, fajita tacos, and plenty of water and sodas. We also tried some craft mocktails after falling off the bracket. The Selena mocktail was refreshing and well made. I am sure their boozy ones are just as well made. While I didn't partake on this trip, they offered a pretty decent selection of brews on tap. read more

I've always heard great things about this place from friends. I was finally able to bring my boys out to meet up with friends for a friendly competition game of Pickleball. The place is clean and spacious. I never realized how much I enjoy playing pickle ball until I played it today. My 2 middle boys enjoyed it as well. I will definitely be back more often because of this. I haven't tried the food, that is on the agenda for next time. read more

The food the atmosphere and the customer service was amazing. Also incredible drinks from the bar. Shout out to recognize Evelyn and Sierra. Two beautiful friendly and amazing servers The bar staff made the most amazing drinks. The food was a blessing from heaven and the brunch atmosphere was a must come back. We had the pork belly cracklings, that are probably the best slice of pork this side of heaven. The espresso martini made with real espresso was to die for and the mocha match point delicious. We had the Al Pastor Hash and the avocado toast. Sorry no pics, because they looked so good the wife and I dove right in and by the time we realized we hadn't taken pictures. Our incredible entrees were in our bellies. And the servers were truly delightful. Evelyn was the most courteous engaging and caring person. Truly a blessing to have met and Sierra was a charmer. Can't wait to go back for more amazing eats and to enjoy the company of Evelyn and Sierra. Oh yeah, we will be going for lessons in pickle ball and paddle ball as well, but the food and customer service will be the main focus. We have come here a few times for food and pickleball. Pickleball is fun! The music is good, the atmosphere is good, and everyone's pretty chill. As far as the food goes, it's alright. Definitely not worth the cost. We feel the food is overpriced but the pickleball is great. Food wise I'd give it a 3/5. Just for somewhere to play pickleball in New Braunfels it's a solid 4/5. read more

Food is average, service was awful but ambiance for the kids were great. So that averaged me out to the 3 stars.

We had a reservation for 12:00 p.m. and arrived around 11:30 a.m. When we arrived, there was no one at the check-in desk for approximately five minutes. Once someone arrived, we were informed that the Wi-Fi was down, and it ultimately took about 20 minutes for us to be seated. The service throughout our visit was extremely slow, despite it not being a busy time or day. We attempted to order food at the bar but were told that since we were not seated at the bar, we would need to wait for a server. After requesting a server, we waited an additional 30 minutes before she arrived to take our order. Our food took another 40 minutes to come out and arrived before our drinks. When I asked an older female staff member for mayo and ketchup, she rolled her eyes and walked away. It then took another 20 minutes for the condiments to arrive. In order to pay our bill and leave, we had to walk around to find our server, as she was nowhere to be found. The concept of this place is really cool, and we strive to support businesses in New Braunfels. However, with this level of service, especially for the money we spent, I'm not sure how sustainable it will be long term. read more

I was so excited to try this place. It's a HUGE, beautiful facility. Parking wraps all the way around the building, but there's only one entrance. Plan on about a five minute walk if you park on the wrong side of the building. Not a big deal though because I was excited about what I saw on the menu. The burgers looked great! We were seated and handed a brunch menu at about 11:30. Where's the burger menu? Sorry, you can't get those until 3:00 on the weekends. Okay, well there are Baja fish tacos on the brunch menu so my wife and I got those. We were excited because they come on corn tortillas! After a reasonable wait my wife's food came out but they were still working on mine. Keep in mind there were only about two or three other tables with people ordering food. After about five minutes mine came out. The tacos were pretty good but they were on flour tortillas not corn. Overall I think this is a cool facility but they could use at least one more entrance, they should serve their lunch menu on the weekends, and they should bring the food out at the same time. Horrible management! Our group visits this place multiple times a week and every time there is an issue with our booking. Last time we visited this place, they kicked us out of our tables, tabbed us out and told us we have to move to the other side of the restaurant to finish our food and drinks. Once we get to the other side, we are told we can't sit there unless we order more food. Proceeded to be told that we are an issue every time we visit the place and asked all of us to leave. Cool atmosphere. We only ate here did not use any of the courts. We tried to order 3 different beers on the menu, but were told that they were not available "today". Another member of our group told us that happened last time they were there also. Felt bad for the server having to deal with that. Not her fault. Then when we went to order food off the menu- same thing. Out of things on the menu. Again felt bad for the server for having to tell us that. Poor management. So after getting drinks that were more expensive than what we originally wanted and food that was pricier and just mediocre. We could have had a really nice meal at a more formal restaurant. Beware if you get the older white woman as a server! Service was rocky from the jump, far from attentative, drinks ran empty several times, waitress nowhere to be found. Got mad and yelled at poor host that sat her a five top, in the midst of being missing in action... Even though she had two tables including mine when the third got sat. Runner for food handing hot plates to customers was a bit off putting as well. I know I'm not dining at a Perry's or a Vic & Anthony's, however in most joints the plate gets sat in front of you. Waitress never recovered from a horrid attitude, appeared as if she didn't wanna be working, and it soured my brother's first lunch with full family together due to busy schedules and lives for his birthday. Not one to leave a review, but for a town that prides themselves on being happy go lucky, this was not the case.
