The pickleball courts are what drew me in today at their grand opening. However the RV sites and the location are just so pretty! This quiet location within a very short distance to both the lake and the river, makes accessibility to recreation activities in the area superbly convenient!

Great place!!! Everyone is warm and welcoming!! Out in the wooded hills, this place is fun. Several new Pickleball courts, RV spots for full hook ups, fun cabins also. Laundry is FREE!!! Great eats at Foozies Food truck and Granny D's Diner is right across the road. Next to us is a nice church and a General Dollar store. They have two converted shipping crates used as an office/sundries and the other one holds a gym/bathroom/shower. The Pickleball is great. An on site professional coach provides all things Pickleball for you. Thanks so much!!!

Glow In The Dark Pickleball at Laird's Hideaway RV Park

Brett and Joyce were wonderful hosts providing great Texas hospitality ("they are good people!") and wonderful, shaded RV sites near eight well-maintained pickleball courts. The Glow In The Dark pickleball on Saturday night was a lot of fun and is very well set up for safe play. The gazebo with fireplace by the tiny houses was the perfect place for our group to gather, have dinner, or just hang out. We highly recommend Laird's as a destination to add to your camping itinerary, especially if pickleball is one of your things. Thank you Brett and Joyce for having us and making our stay great and look forward future visits.

Foozies food truck with a great shaded area and large TV to watch sports. Enjoy your lunch and watch Pickleball as well.

Can't say enough about how friendly this park is, definitely driven by Nick and Sue. They were so welcoming and helpful, and definitely give this park a special feel. That likely explains why they have so many longer-term RV residents. Our cabin was on the small side for us, primarily because our group was larger than originally expected. With six folks sleeping in our cabin, everyone had beds, but we were definitely getting to know each other... :) However, our cabin also had a great deck outside (can you say "morning coffee?", and everything was clean and functional. We also enjoyed the "loaner cats" that were around the park -- our teenage kids loved playing with them. No idea if we'll ever be back to Creek Hollow, but would certainly recommend it.

First let me say the park is a peaceful place to relax on my days off. There are several full time residents as well as transient campers, but it is never noisy. The park has all the amenities you could need. There are bathhouses that are clean and a laundry facility (2 washer, 2 dryer $1.50 and $1.00 respectively). There are a pool and hot tub. WiFi is also included. The sites are wide and level. We came in late at night and Sue was happy to accommodate us. The entrance hill is rather steep but we had no issue with our 38' rig. There is also a back way to exit if needed. The park is very shaded which is wonderful in the TX heat and the plants are beautiful. I love watching the hummingbirds and swallows. There are also resident cats who mind their own business and do not bother anything. (I'm not really a cat person) The cabins for rent seem cute! I would stay here again!!!

This is my second review of Canyon Cove after having been here for about 9 months…read more Sure, she's got her quirks. Sometimes there are various technical issues, and my cell service is weak out here, (that's a failing in my service provider, tho) and the highway intersection at the entrance can make it tricky to get in and out. But all that just adds to her charms! It's the bird song, the fireflies, the cool breezes, the feeling remote but having fairly easy access to all that is needed... and most of all it's the people. Deb and Dave have been nothing but friendly, responsive, and they work hard to continue to make improvements to this place, and to take care of issues in an expedient manner. And our neighbors? Our neighbors have been wonderful! We've not met a single person who hasn't just been full of smiles. We truly hate to leave Canyon Cove, but life is calling us in another direction... at least for now. We hope to be back in the not too distant future and resume life in this peaceful place! Thank you, Deb and Dave! See you soon!

They deliver it to each camper . Also you can be evicted for no reason so beware. The owner David has a rule do as i say not as i do. Rule 1 pick up your dog poop but he doesn't pick up his dog poop. He doesn't walk his dogs he rides on a electric bikes and carts and pulls them down the road. The dogs have to poop on the road as he doesn't stop for them to poop. Speed limit 5 miles an hour which he doesn't abide by . The roads are awful with potholes everywhere. Also when the well was putting out we were on boil order a lot. He also talks awful to his wife the co-owner. He also thinks he knows everything. We have never been late on Rent most time paying early but still got evicted. When I asked why Deb said she doesn't have to give a reason. They both say they moved here from Colorado cause the state turned blue but they act like they are blue. I wish anyone who moves there good luck you will need it.

I DID NOT need to level my camper. If you're reading this then you know how important that is. The property's proximity to necessary stores, restaurants, and outdoor activities is excellent. They have an outdoor bouncy bounce, water slide, pool, kiddie pool, basketball, playground, mini golf, indoor pool. Seriously they have so many things for families here! The park had an egg hunt for the kids & they even had Yogi the bear come out to bring letters to the children thanking them for coming out and spending the weekend here! Side note: they also have cabins that you can rent, camping is also welcomed and RV's.

So we ended up only staying a hour or two maybe. The office staff was rude and dismissive. And I requested a refund thru their online support process & never even got a response, this place was prob cool when it was first build but it's way outdated and very over rated, you'd think they'd of been more welcoming & customer friendly but that wasn't my experience. I could have gone to a free splash pad locally and saved myself a 2 hour drive & 100 dollars plus the gas it took to waste a holiday trip. 10/10 will be sharing this experience on every travel platform possible and hope you guys spend your money somewhere else as this is a waste of trip, time & honestly I was shocked the photos and what we actually got were so far apart,
