We all decided to order the Poorboy Platter that includes the double-decker hamburger sandwich, fries and coleslaw. The burger and coleslaw were delicious. I'm more a fan of regular, fresh-cut French fries but the coated fries were pretty good. The service was fast and the food was hot when it arrived at our table. Our server was very pleasant and checked on us just the right amount to refill our drinks and to ask if we needed anything else. I also spoke with the owner and she was also very pleasant and asked about our experience. I highly recommend the Cadet for good food in a reasonably priced, casual dining place. I visit Kittanning frequently and will definitely return to the Cadet in the future.
