Driving from Idaho to Alaska we stopped by this quant spot along the road. Boy we were so impressed with the atmosphere, food, cleanliness and the food!! My husband got the burger with ham bacon and cheese with chips. The burger would have costed at least $20 in Alaska. I ordered off the senior menu and got chicken strips and fries. The chicken was seasoned perfectly. The service was exceptional and I would be coming here often if we lived closer. Our server and the cook were very sweet. read more

My buddy and I stopped by after a hunting trip. We saw on our way North that Fish & Game was eating there so it had to be pretty good. We were both tired and hungry so we went inside to eat. I ordered the double cheeseburger with fries. The meat was juicy, the burger was large, and the fries were crispy. The service was great, and my tea was filled every time it got low. we've been three times now to the coffee drive thru. the first was great, quick service, good drinks. However the last two times have been terrible. The second time we went we waited for more than 5 minutes at the window and never once did anyone come to open the window and take our order - and it was during business hours. We ended up just driving away. We went again a third time on a Sunday at 1:00. As we pulled in, the car at the window was receiving their order and exiting. We waited again for over 5 minutes before a staff member came to the window to even acknowledge us, then we ordered our drinks - and I kid you not, it was 20 minutes before we got them. We were literally at the drive thru window for nearly 30 minutes. When we received the order, one of the drinks was completely wrong. We won't be back. It's unfortunate. I understand it can get busy on a Sunday, but don't run a coffee drive up window if you don't have the staff to run both the restaurant and the window. read more

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Hot Springs. Loved all the knickknacks and gifts for sale. The food was good and so was the coffee. My husband had the sausage breakfast and really enjoyed it. I had a Denver omelette and it was delicious. I love it when food is served piping hot. The hash browns had no seasoning and were a bit bland tasting, but nothing a little salt, pepper, and ketchup couldn't fix. The service was fast and friendly too. If I could give country cabin a 0 I would! The food was horrific! One Ribeye was too done and the otter was raw! Our baked potatoes were so hard you couldn't eat them. The meal was $87.00 and the only thing edible was the finger steaks. When we approached the cook about our raw potatoes she took off and would t listen! We will never go back! Ever! read more

Watch out for hidden charges and inaccurate menu descriptions. Even though the menu has 20 oz iced Americano listed, they said they don't have it. Charged me extra because I wanted half and half in my coffee. That's a new one. It wasn't bad, but it really wasn't great. It's a clean place and their packaged biscotti is great. On a recent road trip through a few NW states, we got in the habit of searching for lattes mid- to late-morning. I did a U-y and stopped at this place when I saw the word "espresso". It's a cute little place that seems to serves lunch (looks like they crossed out the word "breakfast" on their sign). We just got our lattes, plus some little candies, so we can't rate the food. The service was very friendly, and patient w/ my changes. My only complaint - some tables outside needed to be bussed, so it didn't look tended to - but the hanging flowers distracted us from this. It's set right below one of those GIANT rectangular silos (sorry, I'm not a country girl so don't know what they're really called). read more

We went through the drive through and ordered coffee for 5 of us. The girl working the window was extremely rude. She dropped 2 of my drinks while handing them out the window after she attempted to fit all 5 drinks in 1 flimsy drink carrier. She then asked if I wanted them remade, with an eye roll. I said yes I would like all the coffee I paid for. She remade the 2 that spilled and came back to the window and handed them out and said "here." We reminded her that a few of the drinks were supposed to be the large size to which she responded, "we are out of large cups. I charged you for the small". No apologies, no customer service. I have lived in Idaho for over a year, and have been to tons of restaurants, and by far, this is the best one I've been to. Everyone who works there was outstanding and super sweet, the food was immaculate, the coffee was to die for. Ultimately, this place is my all-time favorite. Driving up from California to Central Idaho on US-95 there really are not many viable options to stop in grab a meal. We were getting hungry and saw this place had a lot of cars outside so we stopped in. This was a very nice country diner with a good menu. I got a breakfast sandwich which had some amazing sausage on it. All of our food was very good, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. We will never go back! We stopped in and got a poppyseed muffin and a cup of water. The muffin was terrible. If smelled, looked and tasted like a dinner roll. It was a far cry from a muffin. Then the water... So insulting! I asked for a cup of water for my toddler. We were charged $1.75 for a cup of water from the soda fountain!
