We ordered a little bit of everything: Philly cheesesteak totchos, pretzel bites with cheese, and cross-cut waffle fries. The Philly Cheesesteak Totchos were the star crispy tots piled high with what might honestly be some of the best cooked steak and veggies I've had on bar food. Super flavorful and done right. The waffle fries were perfectly cooked nice and crispy without being overdone, and full of flavor. Pretzel bites were your classic bar version well salted and paired with a really solid cheese dip that hit the spot. Overall, if you're looking for great service, a laid-back local atmosphere, and really good bar food, this place delivers. Definitely worth stopping in.

Restaurants really need to stop acting like "gluten-free" is just a trendy checkbox and start…read moretreating it like what it actually is--a serious health issue. If you're going to put "GF" on the menu, then mean it. Because here's the truth: cross-contamination is not a small mistake--it's the whole problem. For people with Celiac disease or real gluten sensitivity, eating something that touched gluten is basically the same as eating gluten itself. That "gluten-free" bun toasted on the same grill? Not safe. Those fries in a shared fryer? Not safe. That salad tossed with croutons and then "picked off"? Definitely not safe. And what's frustrating is how often this gets brushed off. You'll ask a simple question like, "Is this prepared separately?" and get a blank stare or a "yeah, I think so." Think so? This isn't a guessing game--it's someone's health. If a restaurant can't guarantee: * separate prep space * clean utensils * no shared fryers or surfaces then just be honest about it. Don't label something gluten-free if it isn't actually safe. It's misleading at best and harmful at worst. And let's be real--people shouldn't have to interrogate their server like they're conducting a full kitchen audit just to eat a meal safely.

Waited well over an hour for food to be delivered with only one visit by waitress. She didn't say what the wait and only brought 2 water refills. Food was acceptable, kids meals were piping hot. Couldn't discount due to wait, said they could remove one meal or give free desert. Asked for one to be removed. 15 minutes later another waitress said they couldn't remove a meal (because we were taking it home) so we ordered desert. 15 minutes later... we still are waiting for desert... Poor wait service. Poor communication. Poor compensation for lack luster evening. And jt was grandmas birthday.

The staff was very unprofessional, and you can tell that they did not like having to cater to Black people. Our experience was horrible. They were unwelcoming and looked at us like we smelled our even came from a different planet. Again, I do not recommend this restaurant horrible customer service and that's sad because I really had heard good things about them prior to us coming here.

I was frazzled when I finally got inside the cafe after having to find parking, locate the cafe, and maneuver around a parade. I placed my to go sandwich order and was told they no longer make the sandwich on croissants. What! That was the key criteria for choosing RR. Okay, it was made on sour dough. After a lengthy wait, I got my sandwich and stopped a few hours later in Mobridge to eat it. A most unpleasant surprise was to find it had been toasted, so it was dry. The chicken salad was spread so thin that the tomato slice was thicker. In retrospect, a grocery story in Mobridge would have been a better choice. Sorry gang, your drinks looked good, but my sandwich was left wanting.

I didn't see any lobster. Hubby said it was good regardless. He also had a bowl of the Cream of Chicken soup - meh. It may have been homemade, but tasted like it came out of a can. I had a ham sandwich, thick off the bone slices of ham with big crispy strips of bacon and Broccoli bacon salad for my side. The salad reminded me of home! Tasted just like my moms! I'd categorize this as homemade Midwest farmer comfort food. Sandwiches are good, but for small town in the Midwest, we both thought the prices were a bit outlandish, even with the use of good farm fresh ingredients.
