Let me start this by saying that we have always had good food at BWW, and today was no exception…read more My problem came from the fact that I had to argue with a waitress (yes, literally argue) about condiments for our food. My wife eats her fries with Mayo, and she had asked for a side of mayo with her sandwich, to which the waitress replied "there's already mayo on the sandwich"...so I had to ask her not only twice, but three times before she would go get it. Same with me, only mine was mustard...had to ask 3 times before she would go get it. (and then she had someone else bring it to the table, and we NEVER saw her again. Fast-forward to end of meal... We were finished and just sitting there waiting for the check, which no-one ever voluntarily brought to our table. So I asked for the check and to speak to the manager, to which I got attitude from one of the servers. Long story short, I spoke to manager to explain to him that it wasn't the food, but the absolutely horrible service we received that I was concerned about, and to explain why there would be no tip left for the wait staff from this visit. He shook my hand, asked me to see the bill, and promptly said "it's taken care of." Will we be back? Probably...like I said the food is always good. (Maybe somebody just had a really bad day). That is the reason for a two-star review. (By the way, this was the middle of the day and they were in no-way busy...like maybe 10....ish people in the restaurant.) (this happened about a month ago)

When we're at the lake, there aren't really restaurant options nearby so when a friend told us about Club Eden (a 20 minute drive from our cabin) we were ALL IN! They have nightly specials, the best service, great prices, and really yummy Midwest food. I ordered their patty melt and tater tots. Oh em gee, there is nothing like a small town patty melt. It *literally* melted in my mouth. It had perfectly toasted whole wheat bread, gooey cheese, a hamburger patty, and grilled onions. Yes, please! It was also under $4. Like WHAT?! The tater tots were also everything that I had dreamed of and more. They have large containers of RANCH and all of the sauces that you could dream of as well. They had whiskey drinks for $2 on special the night we were there and you better believe that the guys in our party were STOKED about this! They also had 0.65 cent wings with 14 sauce choices. Yes, you guys, 14!!!!! You can mix and match which is so cool. The guys were in heaven. The restaurant itself is large, with a big bar, and lots of games! The town of Eden has a very small population and I can tell you that people drive from loads of towns nearby to eat here! We'll be back on our next visit to the lake.
