The bar, while not expansive, is wonderfully staffed by fantastic, heavy-pouring bartenders. The drinks are reasonably priced. The juke box plays a great selection and it's busy enough you always make a friend, but quiet enough you can always find a seat and talk. It's a perfect bar and I can't wait to use the outdoor patio. It's also a good place to catch a concert or watch a game. UK and UofL fans are equally welcome. My friends and I get together there twice a month. Love, love, love it!

We wanted to grab another drink somewhere so we just randomly walked in a direction and this place looked interesting so we wanted to try it out! I love the atmosphere of dive bars and they tend to have nicer people there so I was excited to try it! When you walk in, there is a wall of screens on the left all filled with people playing various video games. We went up to the bar, and the bartender was welcoming and friendly and got us our drinks right away. There wasn't a ton of places to sit in the main bar, but I also didn't venture anywhere else in the bar to see if there was additional seating anywhere. But either way, we hopped on a screen to play some video games so we were perfectly content without a table. We had so much fun here! And after reading some other reviews, I realize that there was a whole other floor that we didn't even know about! I would've loved to play some other games, so I will definitely make it a point to get up there next time.

When I saw they were hosting a Love Island season premiere party, I knew it was the perfect time to finally check it out. Parking was easy - we found street parking right across the street, and there's also a reasonably price parking lot directly across from the entrance for after hours parking. What surprised me the most was the size of this place. It's HUGE! There are so many outdoor seating areas that it never felt crowded, even during a special event. Inside, there were two rooms with large TVs showing Love Island, plus themed decorations and drink specials that made the watch party that much more special. There were 8 of us and it was not difficult to find a table of us all on a Tuesday night. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. I was told the quesadillas were good too! (I had dinner beforehand but my friends ordered some food). The restroom I used was small but clean. Overall, Hauck's Corner lived up to the hype and then some. Great patio spaces, fun events, good food, and excellent service. I can't wait to go back!

It is a small neighborhood bar that has quite some years on it and you can tell. I was greeted by the hosts for the shuttle bus and got a complimentary beer for choosing Nachbar as my pick up location. I did get my complimentary beer and left a generous tip. They had Nords Donuts for food for this event. Beer and Donuts? Very odd combination, was hoping for The Post Pizza or something that was real food. It was free so no complaints other than it was an odd combo. Note: they don't serve food at Nachbar. The inside is kinda dated and there is good seating. Bathrooms are set up like Mag Bar and Kerns Korner. IFYKYK. The outside is more spacious than the inside. They do have a nice patio. As for the inside it looks cool and they have plenty of board games and plenty of local beer on taps that you don't see at most bars. I wouldn't come here on a regular basis but, the local beer selection is a hit with me.
