The inside of the restaurant has a nice industrial brewery vibe. Has a nice patio with garage doors to the inside. The bartender/ server was very personable and kind, even offering multiple samples. Food was very tasty with good portions. Pretzel was one of the best I've had, and the Gallant Fox Burger was a good combo of salty and sweet with the bacon jam.

So many great beers and cocktails to try. If you enjoy pub foods, order the pretzel and cheese curds! Check their social media pages and plan a visit when there are some local musicians playing . Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating , family/dog friendly as well.

Nice place with good food! Burgers and wings and cold beer was great! On the main drag of Mt Washington (31X). Lots of beers to choose from.

    Men's urinal! Lol

We stopped at the coffee shop across the street and were surprised to see Gallant Fox Brewing so we had to stop in for dinner. The food is decent, not amazing. But I did enjoy my burger. The fries are excellent though! I am not a beer person but I got a pumpkin one anyway and it was pretty good! They had trivia that started shortly after we got there. It was done well and very fun! The outside area is nice, especially on a day where it's not too chilly. The inside seating is fine and nothing special, but the rest of the place is very fun and decorated nicely. My favorite thing may be the men's urinals lol. See pics.

Came here for a coworker's birthday. The location is great and we loved the patio. It was a gorgeous evening so we enjoyed sitting outside. I got a beer flight and enjoyed all the beers I tried. We ordered a pretzel to share and then each ordered a burger. The pretzel was soft and delicious. When the burgers came out, I was a bit disappointed. They seemed to be frozen and just thrown on a grill. There was little seasoning and the taste was just mediocre. The fries were pretty good. Overall, I'd stick with appetizers because those at least seemed fresh. Service was quick and friendly. We also enjoyed the trivia that was going on. I'd return but wouldn't order a full meal here.

Gallant Fox Brewing is a very nice little microbrewery stuck in the middle of one of Kentucky's quaint little towns. There's nothing flashy or commercial about it which makes it a great destination if you are into locally made micro breweries. While Kentucky is well know for it's bourbon industry, the microbreweries popping up all over the state are more welcoming for those who don't care for whiskeys. We decided to take my in-laws on a day trip to the Mt. Washington Farmer's Market and drop in for a bite to eat. We were a little concerned about the noise level because we saw it on a few reviews. We decided to go when they opened and the noise level was not an issue. If that's a concern, I recommend going on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The food was on the upscale bar food side. We started with the pretzel and no matter what else you get from the menu, the pretzel is a must. It was so buttery and delicious. It had just enough bite to not be too rubbery and just enough crispness on the outside without being too dry. The sandwiches were good and the portions were perfect for us. There was nothing stellar about the sandwiches. The servers were very kind and helpful and we had a wonderful afternoon. They are a relatively new business and still have a couple minor kinks to work out but they are well on their way to being a fantastic destination to go if you are ever on a tour of Kentucky or on the Bourbon Trail. They are located roughly 40 minutes just south of Louisville, KY and the drive is very nice once you get past Fern Creek (A Louisville suburb).

My wife and I came in here on opening night! We had two flights of beer and two pints as well. It was a great atmosphere and great overall beer experience I must say. I am so glad this place is open and that they are here in my local community. This will be a great spot with many fun nights in my future. The owner came over and spoke to us while we were there and he is super as well. Looking forward to many awesome nights here

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They recently opened and know they have a few kinks to work out. Seating is first come first serve which can be a problem as the venue is super popular right now! Hopefully staff will establish a system for finding seats as it will be an issue if they don't. The food is yummy and the bourbon and beer selection is quite nice! It is a fun place to hang out so be prepared for a loud environment. There is seating outside with fire pits as another option as well.

Beautiful evening at the Gallant Fox!!

I also love the corners with comfy couches and chairs. Plenty of beer to enjoy plus a few slushies - although those are so sweet that I'm not a fan. You can bring in your own food or order delivery from a few spots in the Gaslight District. I especially appreciate it's a family friendly space because my sons are teens. It was so much fun to enjoy music bingo with them while eating pizza from Parlour. Outdoor seating as well - lots of it. Easy street parking. Quick service. They had a ton of beers, but we opted for the slushies -- the Pineapple one was hot weather perfection, and the other was so incredibly strong i couldn't finish it. I also ordered an Old fashioned, and it was an ultimate concoction with a giant rock of ice. You know an Old fashioned will be good when they don't serve it with chipped ice. We hung out for a few hours and played cards, and the bartenders were friendly and accommodating. I wish this place was closer to us cause we would be regulars! At the very least, we will return in cooler weather to enjoy the outside patio.
