We spent a few days in Kentucky and were glad one evening went Awry! The weather was nasty and the parking lot was full, but we circled around, found street parking, and splashed our way in. The tap room was warm and welcoming. Friendly staff greeted us and made us feel right at home. The room has a cool vibe, the graphics are fun, and the menu includes some pretty great cocktail names ("Girl Dinner" is elixir & Tito's!) Twelve beers plus a kombucha were on tap; we made it through four or five over a couple hours. The BBL Drizzy, a collab with 3rd Turn, is a hazy, fruity sour. The board says blackberry/blueberry/lemon and the lemon prevails here. The barrel-aged porter, weighing in at 7% ABV, is nicely malty. We liked 'em all1 We were glad to find the kitchen open. I don't know what's in that Phoenix Sauce but it sure has a nice kick! The Red Thai Curry Wrap was a generous portion, filled with chicken and spice. Carrots and pickles are mentioned on the menu but there's just a bit in the wrap; it's mostly meat. Fries are kind of fat, probably double-fried, crispy and tasty. Chicken nugz were crispy too, with great-tasting breading. Prices are in line with similar places, though I was surprised fries didn't come with a $15 wrap (they're $5 more). In all, a cozy place to hang and taste a few beers on a rainy day!

The fries are some of the best I've ever had. Crispy and seasoned well. Nuggz were a good crisp too! The po'boy was so good, I have literally no complaints on anything. Service was fast and and kind, and there's trivia on Thursdays for some fun competition. I recommend trying EVERYTHING and that's my plan. Tyler and Phoenix were great serving and cooking up too!

One of Louisvilles newest breweries. Sitting in the former Chimera/Vgrits, Monkey wrench building. (Yes I'm that old lol). It's in the Highlands so, that means plenty of street parking and they still have the same small parking lot. I been twice already and I must say I do like this place. It still has some of the same look from the previous business. They do have food and I have heard about the Fried PB&J I have yet to try. So far my favorite beer is the Beer Me Kolsch. I do like the atmosphere here, and they have a big tv behind the bar where they show either movies or anime. Absolutely like the people here and you will definitely feel like you belong here because what could go Awry? Lol

Enjoyed a beer on their roof top seating area. Friendly staff and quick service. Small parking lot.

We went opening weekend and they were very busy. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and took good care of us. My husband got the Kennedy Compound IPA and I got the Loose Ends wheat beer and the Pile of Smiles Pale Ale. All were good! They have a small food menu so we ordered the PB&J which is deep fried pickles, banana peppers, and jalapeños with hot sauce. A perfect complement with our beers. We will be back.

Had a great visit to the new brewery Awry. The beer and food didn't disappoint and most importantly the service was top notch. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I look forward to trying future beers and will definitely be back.

    Great outdoor/roof top patio

It's creative with a sense of joy, irreverent, one of a kind. And I'm happy to see it last in its spot next to Slugger Field. I got to visit recently when a bunch of friends were in town. We ended up visiting during trivia night, which added a fun twist to the experience. Our team, The Electric Sheep, got second place! And along with the fun vibes, we had great food and beer. I got The Smokehouse OG, which is its pulled pork sandwich served on a Cuban roll. If you like pulled pork, you'll like this sandwich, though typical to their fashion, AtG puts a twist on it with its Brown Note BBQ Sauce. We had to get the pork belly on a stick -- a menu fave. And for my beer, I tried the El Nopal Mexican lager (cracked up at the name) and Cold Ass Beer red ale. AtG is a Louisville original that's not to be overlooked.

I got the burger in special, the Dirty Burger. Pretty standard burger dressed with their "not so secret" sauce and fancy pickle. Super solid, very well executed. In the words of Samuel L. Jackson, this is a tasty burger! The location is pretty tough to beat with how convenient it is, and how close it is to all downtown has to offer. The atmosphere is industrial but relaxed. The staff was so wonderful and personable. Will definitely be back!

I just happened to drive by and see a restaurant with abundant outdoor seating. What's this place? I though. It turns out, this is a great family-friendly restaurant with lots of cool places to sit, indoors and outdoors. We sat inside, and grabbed a board game to take to our table. They have a few to choose from -- we got Scrabble. The restaurant itself has lots of seating options, from quiet nooks surrounded by greenery to bar seating. To get your food and drinks, you order at the bar, and then someone brings your food to you. Wood-fired pizzas are their thing here, so of course we got a couple of 'em. The pepperoni pizza was amazing. The pepperonis on the pizza are the kind that become like little cups when baked, and hold in all of that juicy, golden grease. Yum yum yum. Betty White holds a special place in my heart, so we ordered The Betty White: a white sauce base, roasted red potatoes, bacon, onions and mushrooms. I don't know what all of those ingredients have to do with Betty White (maybe because it has a white sauce on it?), and it's nothing like crawling under the covers and eating Velveeta right out of the box, but it was fabulous, nonetheless. The pizzas are definitely big enough for two people to share. Noble Funk is a brewery, so they make their own beer here. I got the Daytime Dreamsicle, partially because it's an IPA and I love IPAs, and also because it has amarillo in it, which is intriguing. It was great! You can ask for samples of their beer, if you're not sure what you might want. Noble Funk has great food, great beer, a casual and family-friendly atmosphere, and plenty of space to spread out. What a great restaurant to come across accidentally during my visit to Louisville.

We had a couple cocktails in here and the service was excellent even though it appeared they were filled to capacity. There were 4 of us in our party and we were seated at a table in the corner near the bar. Was definitely a cozy spot with so many people being in there and the bar being full. I had The Holy Ghost cocktail and it was a pomegranate hibiscus sour, it had just the right amount of sour! I do not like bitter drinks and this one was good and easy to drink. My husband had a couple of dark beers, I do not remember which ones but he liked them. They had a nice outdoor area but it was a bit too cool for that but it may be worth a return in the Spring to check it out. Bathroom was also really cool as the decor and theme spilled over into it. We will be back.
