For whatever reason, sours have never really caught on in Louisville, but thankfully, Atrium isn't concerned with what everyone else is doing, their sour game is on point. Popped in to try their special stout releases. We had 4oz pours of their 02 & 03 releases which are bourbon barrel aged. 02 had Madagascar vanilla; 03 had coconut and cacao nibs. Both were great. We also got a full pour (10oz) of their Fananas Boster. It was perfectly banana without the flavor taking over the beer. They had a DJ so it was too loud (for me) and we sat outside. I love this bar, my friend introduced me to it on a day when they had baby goats! Ever since I have been hooked. The alcohol sodas, the food, and two tier outdoor area are just fun. Hands down the best brewery in Louisville. Every time I visit Atrium, it has been such a pleasant experience. The first time I went was for an after rehearsal dinner outing and they were so accommodating. I called ahead of time letting them know about the group of people coming and they were rock stars. They bartenders were so friendly and patient with everyone. After having a positive experience with the rehearsal dinner, I booked a date with them to host my brother's surprise party. The event was in May so the weather was nicer. They offered their outdoor balcony for us to host. It was the perfect amount of space for our group of 25. My brother had a good time at the party and everyone enjoyed the drinks. Their drink menu is massive. Yes they specialize in beer but they have so many other options. They have a lot of sours so if you like more fruity beers, this is your place to go. They also have wine and can make blended drinks. Cool beer spot with something for everyone. Wife likes sours and had an apple cider doughnut beer that was pretty good. I had a kolsch and an Italian Pilsner. Met some nice people that told us about some other cool local breweries. They are also dog friendly as well saw a couple with their dogs. They have dog water bowls for you to use. I went to Atrium for their birthday event. I also ordered a burger and had a beer while I waited on the food. I love that you can order the food while you're ordering your beer. They always have great service and will give you recommendations and let you try samples, which I always use. 4 - I'd drive 30 minutes just to come here. Skip to the end to see my rating scale. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but that seems to be a common case in Louisville in the two days we were there. But looks can be deceiving and fortunately in the case of Atrium the inside more than makes up for the exterior. Comfortable, earthy decor which suits my personal taste. Most importantly: the beer. Atrium has a solid lineup with a little something for everyone's taste. They had seltzers and a cider or two for the non-beer drinkers as well. On this trip to KY and TN we noticed that IPAs aren't the same as in other places. I didn't look specifically, but I'd guess that the IBUs are significantly lower than what an IPA drinker might expect. But other than that, the beers were pretty good, really friendly atmosphere, and great bartenders made the experience a good one. I'll gladly stop back at Atrium next time I'm in town. Rating Scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive up to 30 minutes just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here read more

So pleasantly surprised by how delightful this little brewery is! We stopped in yesterday while wandering around town looking for a snack in the afternoon. Being from Michigan, and having only been to Louisville once before, we knew if we looked closely enough while driving through the unique neighborhoods, we'd find a treasure! (and we did!) I'm not a big fan of beer, so when I glanced at the menu and saw that there was also seltzer, wine, slushies, and a handful of cocktails available, I was sold! Great variety of beer types and styles, but not too many to where it's overwhelming. Our bartender was friendly and accommodating, and greeted us the minute we walked in. She seemed to be the only one working, but she was ON IT, and got everyone what they ordered in a timely manner (I call that SKILL)! I ended up trying both of the "beer slush" flavors- my favorite being the "Berry Berry," a cold, creamy blend of sweet coconut, mango, and berries! If you close your eyes while you sip, it's like laying on a beach in Mexico! Daryk's, the food truck out back, is the cherry on top here! They have a limited menu, but that's how you know it's all good stuff! I ordered two tacos, one black bean and one pork carnitas. They were simple, fresh, light, and full of flavor! My husband got the Vivarito, which is an ooey-gooey-cheesy-meaty-beany-crunchy delight. He wolfed it down before I could even ask for a bite! Small in size and unassumingly cool, Atrium Brewing is doing it right! Along with the great beer and food, the interior design is simple and clean, with a relaxing atmosphere, ample seating, roomy booths, a nicely-sized bar, and clean restrooms. Really cool venue, came here on a Sunday afternoon to watch football and have a few beers. Had the Fullest Sleeve which was a really strong hazy IPA (12%) and the Steep Hill. Great beers for a fair price. Food was ok, beer cheese seemed more like nacho cheese. Only reason I came to post this is because the two bartenders were as unfriendly as could be. Not that they were mean, but wildly unfriendly. Wouldn't look at you. Seemed annoyed when asking questions. Didn't offer any help. I myself have worked as a bartender and usually have a good report with other bartenders, so this was unexpected. I would go somewhere else next with better service, like West Sixth. read more

Thursday nights are foe BINGO! Went in right at 7PM and stayed until it ends at 9PM. We got 2 flights ($12 each) and LOVED the sours! Personal fave was the black currant, blueberry lemon cake, and the PB&J. We also played exploding kitten the whole time so lots of multi-tasking. We were full from dinner so we didn't get to try the food from the food truck. Parked on the street and there were a few spots around 7PM. I think we played 4-5 rounds of bingo and they accepted about 3 winners per game! Free beer for the winner. Almost every table was filled and i love that they had booths as well as counter top tables. Inside was super clean but we forgot to check out the outside area. Restroom was clean as well! Wanted a good sour beer and they had loads of options! They even had a food truck which most of the breweries don't have. So it was nice to beg a snack. The place is huge with lots of seating. Unfortunately, I have to agree with Tyler from an earlier post. The bartenders were not helpful, nor were they fast or friendly. It seemed like we were bothering them. The place was not full when we went. We didn't absolutely love any of the beers (even though I had a flight). We didn't eat here because we planned to go elsewhere for dinner after, but there are better and wildly friendlier places nearby to get beers and food. read more

Nice and clean brewery near Logan Street Market. They have a lot of fruity beers and milkshake IPAs that are just not my thing. I got the Pineapple Waves lager and it was good. You could really taste the pineapple juice in it. Service was good and the patio looked nice out back. read more

Now that I have been here a few times, I can leave a review. I like how this has opened up in the Shelby Park Neighborhood and during a pandemic as well. Atrium is located at Logan Street and Oak, not far from Logan Street Market. Apparently this place has been through many obstacles just to open and I commend them for never giving up. I will say I'm glad they are here in Shelby Park although, I don't live in the area, I now have more reason to come out here. There is street parking available and depending on how busy they are, it maybe tricky to find. I do like what the inside looks like and they are following COVID-19 precautions. Tables are properly spaced out for good Social Distancing. I have had a few of their beers from here and I did like them. I also learned they come out with new craft beer every week which is a interesting concept. They have a Brick and Mortar food truck in the back that I hear is really good. I will have to try it on another visit. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. I will be back and will try the food as well next visit . read more

Man... It's so hard to keep up with all these new breweries in the Ville!! I love Atrium Brewing. We needed a post-rehearsal dinner hang out spot and picked this place on a whim. I was a little nervous at first that it would be too cramped for how many people we would be bringing in, but it turned out to be the perfect spot. There's a lot more seating than I expected. They have different kinds of beers - including some sours that I really enjoyed! This place is also very cute on the inside - and the perfect neon signage to get your Instagram pics with ;) I would definitely recommend this brewery to anyone! read more

Definitely my favorite brewery in Louisville! They have some of the most unique drinks and, as a fan of sours , I'm very appreciative of their selection! The very first time I went there I got four different samples of sours and they were all delicious ( favorite one was birthday cake but then I went the next week and they didn't have it). Blueberry cake sour was DELICIOUS. Reasonably priced but worth the money to try other exciting beer. They have a food truck in the back of the brewery outside under string lights with fried southern food. It was really yummy!! I got three tenders and the deviled eggs and everything was delicious. The staff is very helpful and you can taste samples of the drinks before you buy. All-around good vibe! read more

I agree with Saphace's review and Joseph's both. I think Joseph gave us some thoughts to think about and I live in Shelby park. I enjoyed the both times I was here, and my friend was kind enough to share her food. The vegan pasta was good, and that is true, they do have a lot of IPAs! That is why I like them, and Milewide is similar too in that they have a lot of IPAs. I think the inside color is fine, and very clean-looking. Maybe I will buy merch soon, because it looked cute. read more
