I've only been here twice, once during the pandemic and it was outside seating only (glad those…read moredays are over). And recently, getting on a shuttle bus to Tailspin Ale Fest. It is a small neighborhood bar that has quite some years on it and you can tell. I was greeted by the hosts for the shuttle bus and got a complimentary beer for choosing Nachbar as my pick up location. I did get my complimentary beer and left a generous tip. They had Nords Donuts for food for this event. Beer and Donuts? Very odd combination, was hoping for The Post Pizza or something that was real food. It was free so no complaints other than it was an odd combo. Note: they don't serve food at Nachbar. The inside is kinda dated and there is good seating. Bathrooms are set up like Mag Bar and Kerns Korner. IFYKYK. The outside is more spacious than the inside. They do have a nice patio. As for the inside it looks cool and they have plenty of board games and plenty of local beer on taps that you don't see at most bars. Parking was easy - we found street parking right across the street, and there's also a reasonably price parking lot directly across from the entrance for after hours parking. What surprised me the most was the size of this place. It's HUGE! There are so many outdoor seating areas that it never felt crowded, even during a special event. Inside, there were two rooms with large TVs showing Love Island, plus themed decorations and drink specials that made the watch party that much more special. There were 8 of us and it was not difficult to find a table of us all on a Tuesday night. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. I was told the quesadillas were good too! I had The Holy Ghost cocktail and it was a pomegranate hibiscus sour, it had just the right amount of sour! I do not like bitter drinks and this one was good and easy to drink. My husband had a couple of dark beers, I do not remember which ones but he liked them. They had a nice outdoor area but it was a bit too cool for that but it may be worth a return in the Spring to check it out. Bathroom was also really cool as the decor and theme spilled over into it.
