They're appealing to the casino crowd who probably can't operate their smart phones but have somehow figured out the complicated video slots and don't mind the constant noise (you can't banter with the bartender if you can't hear them). If you want food at the Center Bar, you can order from Eats. There is a fountain and an old telephone booth in a different area of of the place but of all things, I happen to like the fountain the most.
