I came here for a bachelorette party and it was such a cute atmosphere with a boat design for the bar! The service was great for our party of 10! I got the chicken strips and the dipping sauce was delicious! I'm not sure what was in it but Mayo specific! Plus the price for drinks was great since I got a high noon and it only cost $4. Very good. Had the walleye and sweet potato fries and it was perfect. Nice and flakey. Hubby had liver and onions. He said it was really good. Love the new boat bar in the boathouse addition. They had a girl singing with a beautiful voice. Great atmosphere. My only complaint is I hate when a straw is put in my water. Offer it but don't put it in. Very small complaint. And bus the table before you bring the bill. Hate looking at dirty dishes Also I informed the waitress the bathroom was a mess and she just said they hadn't had a chance all day and the girl that was supposed to do it quit showing up. ‍ read more

Have been going to the Pub for decades. Never again. The prices are outrageously high and the quality of the food is less than desirable. The service is so-so. Waited 20 minutes for the check after the table was cleared and the place was not busy. Not only have they raised the prices, they additionally pass on the credit card fee. Raising prices AND the credit card fee is too much. One or the other, OK, but not both. Adios Pub. Once you were good, but now you're not. The Roadhouse is much better, and definitely worth the extra 10 minute drive. read more

Nice atmosphere but we sat at a table and even though they asked if we were eating and we said probably after they delivered our drinks they never brought menus. When our drinks were gone and the waitress didn't ask if we wanted another we figured we'd go to the bar and there we sat and watched some young ladies walk in and sit down and they were served before we were. Best restaurant in the lakes area!!!! The tap lineup is incredible! If you enjoy local beers, they have IPAs, sours, and even a margarita on tap! The food is fantastic with a great variety. The boathouse has such a fun vibe anytime of the day and even better when they have live music on the weekend. We came in with a group of about 20 during our "family reunion" weekend. This place is AWESOME! Highly recommended! Our server Julie was SO on top of it! She was super quick and efficient, even when we were ordering lots of bloodies. They were SO delicious and perfect spiciness. The owner Trisha (Tricia) came out to check in is several times and was very welcoming and thanked us all for stopping in. We gather in the area every year and are always looking for a great spot to have lunch. We don't have to look anymore because this place was amazing! Went for lunch Saturday. Great broasted chicken! Very moist and 1/2 chicken for $10.50. My Gal had chicken breast sandwich that was very good but a bit over priced at 13 bucks. Very prompt and friendly service. 22 oz soda is a good deal with 1 refill. Will return when back in the area. read more

If you're looking for a great pub/roadhouse meal in a very casual, comfortable setting, this is the place to go. I gave it five stars because it was exactly what I was looking for last night and it exceeded my expectations. The ride out to the Cormorant from Fargo/Moorhead was beautiful and relaxing. Finding the Cormorant was easy and the service was great from the time I arrived and was greeted by Tricia until I left. The broiled walleye dinner was superb - not fancy, just great food prepared simply. The beer was cold and Julie was a very attentive server. Just a great evening and well worth the trip. read more

I was at the Pub after a round of golf on July 5. To be honest, have seen a decline in the food quality and service at the Pub. This is disappointing because it has been a staple of my lake dining. The service was slow on Saturday for a late lunch, and so it wasn't very busy. The food quality has not kept up with the competitors. The burger was cold (although I really like their fries). The wings are a little sketchy, and heavily breaded. I will continue to try to give them a chance, but I am starting to choose their competitor down the road because of the food quality and service. read more

I had the beer battered walleye, you should too. The menu at this place is insane. 6-pages and covered in advertising for local businesses. The atmosphere is great, exactly what you'd expect from the place. Our waitress was generally unimpressed with life and the bar tender fired off corny one liners. One of the best walleyes I've ever had. There is almost a brown sugar sweetness to the beer batter, it works. I got the 6oz walleye from the "lighter menu", it was huge. There is no need for one person to get the walleye dinner size. Go here. Eat the things, drink the things, have the fun. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday drive around the lakes checking out the scenery. Ordered a couple of drinks and received a mug with a chip in it and luckily didn't cut my lip on it. The waitress rudely grabbed the mug and replaced it. I was willing to drink from the other side of the glass and was just letting her know for future use not to use that mug any more. My BLT and fries were fine however my boyfriends chicken sandwich was soaking wet on the bottom of his sandwich so bad he took it off and soaked it up with a napkin then lost his appetite. Never once did the waitress ever come over and ask how everything was. If she did they could have had time to remake the meal. We didn't get the chance to let her know till she finally came with the check. Very disappointed after many years of stopping by here on our trips around the lake area. There were very few customers so no reason for the lack of service. read more
