We stopped at this spot while visiting the Southwest side of the island and were so happy we did! The bar tender was friendly and helpful, explaining the different dishes we weren't familiar with. We wound up ordering the appetizer platter, the queso frito, octopus and fish tacos, and a coconut and strawberry mojito. Everything was good. The fish was a little too "fishy" for us, but my husband raved about the octopus taco and both of us were blown away by the bolitas de queso. The chicken and pork were also outstanding. The servers forgot to bring out an order and brought two wrong orders to the table. That wasn't the worst part they also made the wrong mofongo plate and tried to push the steak mofongo on my pescatarian friend and tried to tell her that this is what she ordered. It took 40 min to get her right plate out by then we had all finished or gave up on eating our food. Three people got burgers that were not good, one of us got seafood pasta with raw shrimp that wasn't fully cooked and I got a chicken pasta that was probably the worst pasta I have ever had. Overall no one was happy and we paid a lot for no food and bad food. Service was also rude, there was no language barrier either, I'm fluent in Spanish. Had a great experience on Noche de San Juan. We showed up pretty late and ordered more than we could eat. The food was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. Very much lookin forward to visiting again next time we visit Boquerón. read more

Unfortunately they do not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Our check out day was Wednesday so we took advantage and came when they SUPPOSEDLY opened at 11am. A girl that works there said they weren't open but she could get us drinks to go. We didn't want food. We just wanted to try the mojitos that apparently won a medal for one of the best mojitos. I tried a strawberry and passion fruit mojito and my fiancé of course got the most popular flavor on the island : passion fruit aka parcha. They were pretty good. The strawberry one had so many pieces of strawberry that I could barely drink through the straw. It was good nonetheless. Barely any parcha pieces in it. Next time we're in Cabo Rojo, I'd love to try the food there. It seems like a real chill spot with young kids that work there. There was a seafood kiosk we passed before getting here and the guy pressured us to stop our car. They are the ones with the tons of clams and whatnot. I remember seeing a few YouTube videos on this spot. However, we decided to try the pulpo (octopus) and it was a small cup with the pulpo salad. BE WARY PEOPLE! It was $15??!!!??!!!??' Was so excited to try this place. We have had cocktails in the past and they were great! We went their today with my service dog ( legitimate) and the owner refused to allow him in. They asked us to set outside. Keep in mind it is hot and humid! We explained the Ada and federal law, basically he didn't care! Sorry but not sorry I will spend my money elsewhere! read more

The service was terrible. We never got checked in on and our food was an hour late for three pieces of lettuce and a small tomato and chunks of chicken as a "chicken salad" with no dressing. A full table received their entire meal, ate and left before we had to ask 3 times for our food. Do not recommend. read more

There are many eateries in Boqueron, this one was new to me and did not disappoint. Excellent mojitos, try the Passion Fruit mojito (or two!) They're menu is varied enough that you can munch on appetizers (sorrullitos, yum!) or have a delicious meal. I tried the chicken cracklings with Mofongo, excellent! read more

Wife and I stopped in and we really liked this place. Bar outside had a musician that was a little loud for us, so we sat inside. Great burger and fries for me, wife got wings. Service was great. But honestly the best mojito I've ever had. Fresh fruit awesome! We tried the blueberry which was packed with blueberries pineapple strawberry. Then waitress tells us you can mix them! We got a pineapple coconut, simply amazing. Overall cost was 45 before tip and after taxes, but that's four drinks a burger and wings. I would say a must visit for the drinks at least! read more

Awesome cozzy spot. The food was great. I ordered chícharon de pollo con mofongo y ensalada and it was delicious. The chicken reminds me of chick fil a chicken nuggets. Very good. We also ordered the sorullitos. Good choice. Oh wait. Try their different flavors mojito. Delicious. The pulpo salad was also delicious. Just go have fun and listen to some great music. read more

I came from Virginia to spend a few days with my family. I went the day before I returned to DC. Amazing place, very enjoyable to hang out a little bit with friends. The food and the mojitos are amazing and with real fruits (very important). I really recommend this place to eat or just to spend a few hours drinking with friends and family. read more

We heard amazing things from my mom about the mojitos so we decided to try them. When we were trying to park outside one of the chefs told us where to park and took our food order. Trying to help, he made us think we had placed an order. We sat down, had some mojitos and waited. Asked about the order that the chef had put in, they said things were in process. Waited for over an hour nothing came. So we decided to leave. For someone to show such effort at arrival for it to fall through was disappointing. Have been coming Cabo Rojo for 30 years. Finally went to try the food after buying mojitos here for several years. My wife and I went and she had her service dog with us. As we walked in, one of the bartenders told us we could not have the service dog in the restaurant. I told him it was a service and he said "oh ok", so we went inside. Ordered drinks and he came back and said the owner told him the dog could be outside but not inside. I asked to speak to him and he came to the table. He told me the dog could be outside but not inside. I explained ADA and Federal Law to him and he said he didn't care the dog could not be inside. And he tried to say he was sorry, but he was completely unreasonable. I told him he could face serious fines for violating ADA, but he said he didn't care. Needless to say we left. We went down the street to another place and were welcomed with no problems as always. Don't give this place your money. They don't care what you think. read more

This restaurant looks clean and new. The sign says it's a burger spot and mojito bar. My sister and I ordered two coconut mojitos. After a minute, the waitress said there was a small problem, there were no limes. She said she could use lemon and we agreed. The drinks were very good! The only downside was that it took about 20 or 30 minutes to get the two drinks. Island time! read more

The mojitos are really good! Specially the coconut Mojito. However I am only giving 3 starts because of the service. We had to wait 25 minutes for the first round of 2 drinks and for the food the waiting time was 1 hour and 20 minutes. The order was incomplete, the waitress was MIA most of the time and they were expecting us to paid for the whole order when it was incomplete. The place have potential but they should trained better their employees starting by been more respectful to the customers. read more
