First Time we were here and it was a total win. Started with Filet Sliders and Fried Pickles for apps. Let me tell ya - both were WINNERS. The filets were super tender, juicy and tasty! The fried pickles were the best we have ever had and we have tasted them at quite a few other places. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we ordered steak and fish (fried cod) tacos to share. Got them loaded with lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion and cilantro. Everything was fresh and delicious. Red and green salsa were very good. Atmosphere is really cool with lots of beer tappers hanging. A friend and I stopped into Copper Top on a stormy oak lawn night. We were greeted by two lovely bar tenders, Sara/Sarah (not sure of the spelling) and Molly. Throughout the night, they provided 5 star service, attending to our every need! Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I cannot thank them enough for making our night at Copper Top one of the best nights we have ever had in our lives. I will never forget Sarah and Molly and hope to return again soon. These 2 women alone are changing the hospitality scene in oak lawn.. I cannot emphasize hard enough on the 5 STAR SERVICE our only tip to the owner is dim the lights, i kept having to remind myself i was at the copper top and not at the jewel osco. Although, if these 2 worked at the jewel osco i would be a frequent flyer there! read more

Standard sports bar located in the heart of Oak Lawn on 95th street, right next to Deja Brew. While it mostly appears to be an average sports bar, I give it an extra star for an above average craft beer list, especially being right next to Deja Brew a self-proclaimed craft beer bar. There were more on Copper Top's menu that I hadn't had than at Deja. There's multiple TVs playing with multiple games. My friends and I were able to watch both the Cubs game and the Stanley Cup Finals. Server/bartender was nice, and accommodating with changing the games on the TVs. Didn't order any food, but what I saw looked like standard bar food, not amazing, but I'd be fine ordering it, looked like decent burgers and fries. They share a massive parking lot next to Deja so it was easy to park there, or on 95th can work. Wouldn't be opposed to coming back and watching some more games there. read more

Having not lived in that area for a while I was not familiar with this place but read some good reviews and decided to give it a shot. First, I liked the open look of the place and friendly staff as everyone we met smiled and welcomed us which was nice. We sat and met our server right away and got our drinks and took the place in. The food we ordered (burgers and fries) were very good and didn't take long to come out to us. Server was attentive but not hovering and overall everything was excellent. Before leaving I went to wash my hands and was pleasantly surprised by even seeing the bathroom was very clean. Spoke with the owner and told him what we thought and I would definitely recommend this place and looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu. read more

The inside is nice & has cool lighting. We ordered the fully loaded bloody Mary's. They were good. Breakfast sandwich was made in the microwave, but might be what you need for a hangover. We weren't given napkins which were needed because the sandwich was a little greasy. We ordered 2 more for friends that were meeting us there and asked for them to be a little spicy and they ended up being too spicy to drink. The service was below average. At one point we had to go to the bar to order a drink (which our server saw) and brought us back to the table to take our order. The food at Copper Top is so good! We order it at our salon often and love everything we order!

Went there a couple times. Once good service from an older female bartender, and a couple other times, piss-poor service from some younger females, who were very inattentive, and seemed pre-occupied talking to some younger guys at the bar, possibly their boyfriends. Made it feel like they were doing me a favor for just letting me be there. BIG Mistake. Heard they had a brand new expensive kitchen and was gonna get a bite to eat, about 1:30 pm, but when I first just wanted a cup of coffee, this inattentive airhead bartender tells me they don't have any coffee. How can you have an expensive kitchen and a big menu and not have coffee ? After all it is supposed to be a restaurant and bar, right ? What Dingbats. I left and went to lunch down the block. I do not tolerate piss-poor service anywhere. Not recommended, too loud anyways. read more

The decor was very well done and the atmosphere was nice and upscale feeling. The downfall was their service. And if we are being honest that's what most restaurant/bars should be judged on. We were served 1 drink and asked within 2 minutes if we wanted another. We were planning on ordering food but when we said we need a minute to decide they never came back. We waited about 20 minutes until we left. Usually I would not complain but the problem is that there was a total of 8 people in the entire place including the two of us. So after watching the waitress sit there and look at her phone for 10 minutes at the register we decided to get up and go to the bar to close out for our two drinks. Completely disappointed with the service, definitely was excited to see the remodel and new look but won't be going back. read more

I wish I could put it into words better. The best food in the area by far. The food is the highlight for me but everything else is excellent as well. Most friendly staff I've had. They are just genuinely friendly people. The ambiance is great. Plenty of TVs with sports on. Great draft beer selection. Also really love that they have trivia on Wednesday nights. read more

Only chose one star because there's nothing lower. Worst possible bar in the area. Their food is good but the service is never worth it. Owners constantly under staff the bar and servers and those that are there ignore people who have been waiting and serve others who just walk up. If you want to wait half an hour for a beer and have others served before you, then this is your place. Good luck. read more

Tried for the first time tonight. Not very concerned about social distancing tables and full crowd shoulder to shoulder at bar. Food was much less than desirable. Buffalo chicken sandwich was basically a Tyson pattie, small and kind of slimy. Bun was stale and breaking apart. Other diner ordered ribeye sandwich, very grizzly and no flavor. Horrible customer service. Staff are always on their phones or taking shots with customers or drinking behind the bar and take a long time to take your order. Food is decent, but tacos and burritos are amazing. Owner and staff needs to ease up on their drinking and phone time and pay more attention to customers. Bartenders were taking shots at the bar instead of serving us. I had asked for a miller light draft and she said "got it" then continued to take another shot. You have PAYING customers but instead your bartenders are taking multiple shots. Sad to see when the owner seemed so nice. read more
