I have never in my life felt so blindsided, disrespected, and outright humiliated by a sales…read moreassociate as I was by Michael at Restoration Hardware. And let me make something very clear before I begin: I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this location multiple times this year I've been loyal. I've been courteous. I've been nothing but kind. And Michael managed to destroy all of that in a single moment. Our interaction started off perfectly fine. Friendly, even. I was actually enjoying myself -- laughing, talking, having a genuinely pleasant time. Then he mentioned dealing with a difficult customer, and I responded with a compliment, exactly as I said it: "Yeah, it's too bad you guys have to deal with that stuff. I could never do customer service because it sucks how you have to stay and be uncomfortable and deal with difficult customers. Whereas in my job we have it easy -- you can leave the room if someone is yelling at you." I said this while wearing scrubs because I work in healthcare. I was admiring his patience. I was telling him his job is HARDER than mine in that way. I was being kind. And this man -- who is old enough to be my father -- stood there, stone-faced, and waited. He literally waited until I had swiped my card for over $2,000. He waited until the payment went through, until his commission was secured. Only then did he decide it was time to humiliate me. He looked at me and said: "Our customer service doesn't suck. I bet it's about as good as your nursing." Let me repeat that. "I bet it's about as good as your nursing." I am not a nurse. I never said I was. I never said the customer service sucked I was giving him a compliment. He assumed I was a nurse because I am a woman in scrubs -- as if every woman in healthcare is the same, as if our actual roles, specialties, and degrees don't matter. And this man -- this sales associate -- thought it was appropriate to throw that insult in my face like my profession was a joke he could use to put me in my place. I barely made it to my car before the tears started. I cried the entire way home. Because the way he spoke to me was not just rude -- it was belittling, sexist, dismissive, condescending, and deeply personal. This wasn't a misunderstanding. This wasn't a slip of the tongue. This was a man who waited until I paid, then intentionally demeaned me. And here's the worst part: the other two associates I interacted with -- a woman and a man -- were absolutely lovely. They were warm, kind, respectful, everything a sales associate should be! But let me be very clear: Because of Michael, I will never step foot in this location again. Because of Michael, this store lost a long-term, loyal customer. Because of Michael, I walked out of Restoration Hardware in tears after dropping two thousand dollars the same night. No one should walk into a store feeling excited and walk out feeling this way.

She listened to what we actually wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and clearly knew the inventory inside and out. She and Joel are a huge reason we'll be back for future purchases. Five stars all around!

I recently visited the store and browsed through the showroom in search of dressers. During my…read morevisit, I was approached and assisted by two exceptionally kind gentlemen. Subsequently, I encountered the manager, a third individual with a handlebar mustache. He asked if I required assistance, and I politely declined, expressing my gratitude for the previous help I had received. However, I felt a sense of unease and discomfort with him. It was an unusual and unsettling experience. I struggled to recall the name of the gentleman who had initially helped me. Then, I heard him gather his staff and raise his voice, seemingly questioning which of them had assisted me, as if I was a suspicious or questionable customer. Due to this, I will never return to this store. Absolutely bizarre. Nevertheless, I am grateful for the two older gentlemen who provided exceptional service and were incredibly professional and pleasant.

Beware: What you measure in the store is not what gets delivered…read more My experience with Reed's Furniture was a total nightmare. We bought a sectional months ago based on a spec sheet provided in-store by our sales rep, Toni. When the couch arrived 6-8 weeks later, it was 7.5 inches shorter than the ordered specs--missing nearly a full seat's worth of space. Toni initially agreed it was incorrect with photo proof and promised a replacement corner piece in 6 weeks. Instead, after weeks of us chasing him down through excuses and unreturned calls, he sent a generic text stating the vendor treats measurements as "approximate." Coming from a sales and construction background, I've never seen a business operate like this. They will happily take thousands of dollars based on precise spec sheets, only to hide behind "approximate sizes" after delivery. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere.

Now, you could probably get them slightly cheaper online without going to this store, but I appreciate the time and care the owner gave to us. (We took a while to decide on the colors, and it was nice to be able to see the couch samples and colors in person.) We weren't about to take an hour of the owner's time and then order online.
