What's there not to say I'm there at least once a week!! Foods always on point and everyone is always friendly. They go out of their way and make me a special dish ever since I was introduced to it.

On a trip back from Boston Logan Airport I was craving Italian and found this place on Yelp. We were seated right away and the server came right over to give us water and take our drink order. We started with calamari and stuffed mushrooms they were both delicious, but the mushrooms were next level delicious!! For dinner we had lobster ravioli, seafood pasta, colosseum gnocchi, and spaghetti with sausage. Everything was hot, well prepared and very tasty. Service was excellent and the drink/wine list had a little something for everyone. We will definitely be back.

On October 15th, 2023 my family and I went to the Colosseum Restaurant in Salem, NH for a family birthday party. Our server, Claudia, was wonderful and very attentive. We had planned to go to the Wasabi Steakhouse (down the road from the Colosseum Restaurant) but they were awful to us and wouldn't accept our Groupon certificate! That ticked us off and we walked out. The Colosseum Restaurant was very accommodating! They sat us immediately and gave us very kind attention. First we shared platters of Arancini balls (awesome! Hot! Delicious!), Caesar salad (freshly made and wonderful), and garlic bread. I can't drink alcohol for medical reasons, so I ordered black tea, which they very thoughtfully kept hot and fresh for me. Others ordered red wine and their house red is very good. When our meals came, they were obviously right-off-the-stove, because they were incredibly hot. I loved the Fettuccini Carbonara that I ordered ($16.95). My mother ordered the Lasagna ($16.95) and she loved it. My eldest daughter ordered the Penne pasta with Chicken and Broccoli ($17.95) and just loved it. For desert ..... My father and mother shared a piece of the Pistachio Cake ($8.95). With alcohol, tip, and tax, the bill for six people for Sunday lunch was $250.00. We would happily go to the Colosseum Restaurant again. It was really good!

    Ravioli, Marinara Sauce was delicious.

Last week while on vacation we found ourselves in Salem, NH. We went to The Colosseum and from the time we were greeted until we left was a fantastic experience. We were greeted warmly, served timely, attended to intently but not intrusively. The food was delicious, especially the bruschetta which was some of the best I have ever had. The table and seating was comfortable and private. I strongly recommend this restaurant as an excellent place to dine.

They have repurposed an old railroad station building that brings a unique charm to your breakfast/lunch. My wife and I both appreciated the overall vibes! We had free range of selecting a table and service was friendly and quick with zero complaints. Like I said they have plenty of common dishes you'd expect like French toast, omelettes, Benedict's and more. Alongside their menu they include weekly specials and these were the dishes that really caught my eye for their uniqueness! During our stop they had Congee (think Chinese rice porridge), Hong Kong Waffle, and lastly Shanghai Omelette. I went with the omelette that had Chinese sausage, carrots, onions with a Chinese bbq sauce and some other finishing touches with a side of rice and wonton instead of toast. Was such a unique dish but tasted phenomenal, glad I got to try it! My wife then went with their Carnitas Omelette with a few substitutions to avoid any heat but was blown away by it. She had never really thought about having carnitas for breakfast but enjoyed every bite. The hollindaise sauce on top was the perfect touch! If you find yourself in this area I highly recommend checking out this spot! Fantastic vibes with friendly and quick staff with delicious and inventive dishes showcasing a variety of cuisines from all over the world. A great spot to open your mind to new food ideas!

The staff was friendly and the coffee was pretty good. I ordered coco loco french toast (french toast with toasted coconut and whipped cream) and i loved that it was the drier style rather than custard. It was very good and I didn't need syrup at all. I also ordered a side of bacon. For me it was 3 and a half stars. Hubs had pancakes with eggs and sausage. He said the pancakes had no flavor and I tasted them and had to agree. His eggs were fine and sausage ok. So for him it was three stars. We decided to go with 3 total stars on this one because if you're going to call yourself a breakfast place you need to nail the pancakes. Overall not bad and not great. Would give it another try if I was in the area.

We immediately felt at home, welcomed and comfortable. I was passed by a delicious looking Bloody, and realized the second piece of the puzzle was here - a liquor license! Don't get me wrong, it's not NEEDED, but man oh man do they taste amazing. Right off the bat I settled in. We have a long standing tradition - try all the meats. There's been more than a handful of times we were put at a "normal" two seat table - and had to get a second one dragged over to help with all the food ‍ My wife usually gets some form of Benedict - she's a "light hollandaise" gal and can never seem to get that so she always gets it on the side. She cleaned her plate off and loved everything she had. We are dying to go back soon - from one super foodie (with a minor in Sunday brunch spots to go to in the area) to others, you won't be disappointed.

Ya know, I once navigated to this place on accident before? Yeah. Still not sure what my GPS was…read moredoing that day. Because I normally go to the one in Salem. But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.
