He handed me the keys to his truck and said take it and go. I've never met or talked to him prior to today. I went home picked up a wheel and came back. He swapped out the wheel and hardly charged me anything. Great service, great team there at Plympton Service center. I found my new repair shop from here on out.

We hadn't moved yet when suddenly a pick-up truck took a too tight left turn into a store parking lot and clipped my bumper while doing so. My front bumper was pulled half off which also created a small dent on the right side panel adjacent to the bumper. UGH! The best thing of course is that no one was injured but honestly what a pain! Two weeks prior to this accident I had noted a large and deep scratch on the passenger side rear door...it looked like someone had keyed my car door. Getting the car door repainted was on my to-do list, and now here I had this accident on my hands. Cohasset Collision has a great reputation and fortunately is but a couple of miles from my home. Their work is guaranteed. Although I had to wait a couple of days until they had time to work on my car, I was pleased that it was finished within 5 days which was less time than they had estimated. I brought it in on a Monday morning and got a call at 8:00am on Friday that it was ready for pickup. I was thrilled when I got my car back...it looked like new. They had offered to "touch up" the door scratch if I didn't want to pay the $1,200.00 to have the whole door painted but I opted to do it right; a touch up didn't seem like the right place to try to save a few bucks. The door looks great, and perfectly matches the tough to match pearl white paint color on my car. Not only does my car look like new and the work is guaranteed but when I walked over to my car to inspect the work I was not only happy with the job they did but very pleased to see that the card had been washed. When I got in the car to drive it away I was pleasantly surprised to note that they had also thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed the entire interior. It even smelled like new. They have a car rental service on the premises which I did not need...but of course that is a convenient service. In talking to the desk staff there, the owners are on premises (in fact we dealt with one of them) and we were told that most of the staff have worked there for years and years. That's a good sign in my opinion. They do have a car waxing service available which I am going to take advantage of this fall. Part of taking good care of your car is not just washing it but ensuring that it is properly hand-waxed and buffed. Cohasset Collision has my business...although other than getting it waxed I hope I don't need their services any time soon!

The transmission makes a loud bang when downshifting. When I brought it back, they had the nerve to tell me nothing was wrong and to keep driving it until the noise gets louder because they "couldn't hear it." Absolutely ridiculous. Shockingly, the problem is still not fixed and the noise is still there. The owner told me, "I'm not trying to screw anyone--if you ever have a problem, bring it back and we'll take care of it." That turned out to be a lie. Less than a week later, the throttle position sensor failed, and suddenly they wanted $396 to fix it because it was ONE WEEK past their 30-day warranty. I was forced to buy the part myself and installed it for under $100. They dodge responsibility, downplay serious mechanical issues, and hide behind technicalities instead of standing behind what they sell. This place does not care about customers. Stay far away.

Not exactly a neat and tidy shop. I had damage on one side of my vehicle from being T-boned when I went to pick up my car 1.5 weeks later they thought I would be coming at night, but I showed up around 5 (still light out) they had parked the side that was once damage up against the wall of the building (so i would have trouble inspecting it without moving it). I drove my car into the light and noticed the following. The insurance paid Maisisons to repaint entire bumper, replace wheel, replace and paint door, replace handles, along with a slew of other things. The "new" door had a brand new white scratch in the paint, bubbles in the paint, bumper had been only half painted and masked and painted with a pronounced mask line (you could see it never mind feel it), the rim that was supposed to be replaced or at least buffed it even had overspray on it and hadn't been touched (my car is red, it was pretty obvious), to top it all off the whole paint job had swirls in it. It should have looked like it came from the factory and it was a complete mess!!! They never apologized, they tried to defend themselves for not doing what the insurance company paid them to do. Insurance company had to call them and tell them to fix the work and order the parts they tried to skimp on! These guys will try to pull one over on you if you let them.... AVOID THE HASSLE there are too many body shops to waste your time with this one.

My daughter brought her vehicle back for a 3rd time and was giving a bill for the horn that the mechanic told her he didn't break but fixed it and she needed to pay for it. Never had issues with the horn, but then the mechanic began yelling at my daughter. I hope he keeps that energy when I come in to speak with him tomorrow because luckily for him when I heard of the situation the shop is closed and I can't speak with him today. My child will not be intimidated or scared, and your unprofessionalism and accepting payment for work that was not completed will be filed with the BBB and attorney general.
